of course, I’m new but like any other active reader? I’d like to know what your mind is settled on and what stories I might can dive into!

I just got my copy of White Nights from Dostoevsky, I have really high hopes for that book. Heard a lot of good things from friends

I Am Legend & Roadside Picnic are classics. Especially when you look into the publishing history and complications posed by the Soviet Union for Roadside Picnic.

I'm also very partial to Terry Pratchett's The City Watch collection. They're all excellent books.

Edit: Also shoutout to Legends & Lattes, excellent book.

I'm currently reading An Instance of the Fingerpost
by Iain Pears! Just finished House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski

House of Leaves was such an interesting read. I really liked how some aspects of the format really felt (at least to me) that it reinvented how the book medium can be used. Like the multiple layers of perspective and how pages could have just a few words on them to create pacing in the story. Would gladly take recommendations on books doing similar things.

The latest book I finished was The Vegetarian by Han Kang. I had high hopes for the book and I think it was good but it was far from what I thought it would be.

I actually read this back when I was in high school. I couldn't put it down. The Love Child by Philippa Carr. Managed to get my own copy of it a couple of years back. Still was as good as I remembered. Right now I'm between books.

Yes! A co-worker suggested it to me and I went in blind and also really liked the formatting. I have yet to read another book like it but it was a nice change of pace.
