Character 1 is noble male, a vampire despite his talents for killing, protecting and so forth. His family looked down on him because he was 'imperfect'. With the war he couldn't afford to sit comfortably awaiting for the war to come to his doorstep. He knew from the very beginning he was different from normal nobles who did nothing but look down on the others less fortunate that used money than raw talent. Judged by his own people for being 'odd coloured eyes.' His scars from his father's abuse over the years. He knew he had to fight for respect and for a peace of mind to find his own people that understood his need to protect others.
When he called upon the order, who were training for recruits. Of course it was obvious he came from money and he was judged by his last name. Which showed that he was from a fortunate family. Who probably thought he brought his way through money, not the fact that he was approached by the order word got around that he wanted to fight. The one that stepped forward warned him that the others wouldn't accept him, nor would believe he had the ability to fight how they do. He would be challenged and would be a hard journey, being accepted was the prize he was prepared to fight for. It wasn't unusual that he had to bare fangs to stand his ground. As predicted he was a the top of the class, showing promise but he was far from being accepted by his class mates.
Everyone has a reason to fight, character 2 is a teacher of the Order one of the less ruthless vampires that had a brain cell. He wasn't surprised that character 1 was showing promise. Others came him a hard time. The problem is that he couldn't go to war any more due to an injury, so he was forced in to security and to train the newbies, character 1 woke the male up for the first time in centuries.

Character 1 is the king of Silver dragon breed. Resourceful, cunning, manipulative and would do whatever he could to get what he wants. Some would say he's on the verge of turning. When a mystery needs to be solved, he was normally held for questioning for the unexplainable murders. Someone framed him. Made patterns of his natural being. Tired of his ways, instead of killing him and ending his life. Character 2 banished him to exile. After a loss of his mate he never quite made it through. Burying his emotions, acting out. Untrusted by many. No one knew what happened that made him snap. Some blamed his age that he was turning, only 1 person knew the truth. Binding his time, battling with rage and a big betrayal that one could never fully heal. He spent the remaining of his time, binding his time.
Character 2 loved character 2. He saw the whole thing. He made it out that character 1 had lost the plot. Knowing that he just lost his mate. But what character 1 didn't realise that character 2 killed character 1's mate because she planned to betray him in brutal ways as possible. His heart was ripped out of his chest knowing that character 1 wouldn't understand him. Being the king of dragons and Golds, he had no choice but to banish him brutally without anyone to comfort him. He knew one day that the other would come for him. But he had to believe that the time away from everything familiar would calm his fire not add to it. He knew out of all the dragons if they wanted to fight him for the top, he knew that character 1 had the only ability to do so. He knew it was a matter of just piecing the finale nail in the coffin and this was it.
To become leader of the dragon kind, leader of leaders. You have to kill the current gold dragon and he did things to get to this spot. He worked very hard to get to it and he wasn't prepared to give it up any time soon since the previous leader was ruining them. He brutal secrets that ruin him., he knew that character 1 had the answers. The reason why the dragons his kind had 'lead' were sent to another world. Since humans and dragons couldn't live together, sending his own kind those who couldn't shift. He had to send them away, because dragons were taught to not fight back due to strength. Only a few believe that humans and dragons could co-exist together. Even those that follow him questioned his authority, life wasn't easy
no sleep for the wicked.
Not only that, what would happen if character 1 returns. Would he finish what he came here to do all fall in love all over again?

New to his new team, ex mortal cop, now dragon shape shifter. Walking among his kind. Waking up to the realisation that he wasn't normal. The last fight he had trying settle the score with a robber had awoken the dragon within him and he needs help. He was treated as a Captain, he was the best of the best and now he has to prove himself to his new comrades that he doesn't have to be treated like a yearling. Sure the flying, the fact that he could hurt those around him, new strength he didn't have. As a rare water dragon, his kind were keen to keep him steady. It wasn't his ideal solution but he wants to get rid of his training wins, so to prove himself worthy of pulling his weight. He's eager to fly the nest annoyed immensely that the breaks were put on hold due to the on going crises.
Character 2 is a Scottish rogue dragon shape shifter, recently being captured. He was trying to plan to murder the leader, who was responsible for murdering his family. He was under false information, that the leader was a brutal killer, that the reason for his hefty price tag in the under world. The dragon council want him dead, having no where to run. Captured by the ones he wished to kill to take back what is his. Of all things. He realised he was pretending to be the 'bad' guy. But not realising that they're were cameras that could see him 24/7. Being the tough guy wasn't his true nature. He was just confused. Misguided soul. The information that could very well save his life, well. Let's say some doors are better left locked then discovered. But may be helping this yearling dragon a thing or two might relieve the beardom. Not a conquest of his own desire.

Even in a crowd, one can be lonely.
Vampires are an immortal beast's with animal instincts. There is a soul mate for everyone, but what happens if that soul mate is ever found? They turn into mindless beats over time. In darkness waiting for the right time or be slain by their brethren. By killing their own that were ones soldiers side by side, adds another risk to their very tainted soul. But the hope of finding that soul mate to bring them in to the light. Sometimes the light is too much and plunge into something that the other one isn't prepared. Sometimes the animal instincts is too strong, more beast's than man. Spending centuries, making a mark on the world. Hiding int the castle, remaining at their once home land now scattered people. Planning on reuniting them, but the problem is that his people is scattered. He remained to carry the burden of immortality.
However, he didn't expect this encounter. A male that is a human, ventured on his lands. Staying at a local hotel. He has a gift of reading people's minds. Using this gift, can send him into madness. Tracking killers, helping the cops/Police to find the truth of why they did such crimes. Sometimes character 2 spent times in various places, like hiking in the mountains because that's where the voices stop. But he didn't intend on venturing into character 1's mind.

The stranger silently summoned him across the continents, across the seas. He whispered of eternal torment, of endless hunger. Unable to focus on his work as a doctor, the whisper continues. At first he thought it was madness, but he didn't show the normal signs that he was loosing it. It happened gradually then constantly driving him crazy. Images of people torturing him, waking up in cold sweats. Unable to stop the voice in his head. He knew the pain wasn't his but it felt real enough to curse him. He had no idea that this person, this vampire was in pain and needed help. He decided that character 1 was going to either go in sane or come to his call.
Character 2 is the brother of the prince of vampires. Who believed to be dead, lost to him. Not aware of his existence of being tortured by humans with a stake through his heart and being buried alive. The minute he 'felt the link' he knew that it was his life mate. But to his aggravation not realising his attempts were scaring him rather than cooing for him. He was angry that his life mate didn't come to him at once. Unable to speak due to his scarring, mentally disturbed. He was a force to be reckoned with. He believed that his mate were there to torture him not help him betrayed by his soul mate.
But character 1 was not discourage by this menace of a man. Not knowing the dangers that he was unlocking. Unable to ignore, unable to stay away.
Life can be cruel.

Character 1 is what is known as a anti-hero of all things. He isn't the desired type, he's unfriendly, unapproachable but still people cheer for him. He is known for his most solved cases and a fighter. But his personality is ruining his own career. He had always had to try 'harder' to get what wants to be the top hero, he was determined to get that of whatever the cost. His obsessive drive had cost him so much in life, leaving him in the over state of despair. He can be a cold callus person. Despite his efforts, he had been a
aware of his limitations. Over the years he had become more stubborn and impatient over the years.
Character 2 is the opposite of character 1. He's everyone's favourite. Highly intelligent both emotionally and logistically. He promotes a carefree life style. Despite the fact of his laid-back nature he his constant vigilance often hides under layers of serenity and equanimity. He is aware of the damaging career in the spot light of character 1. Despite being a favourite of his own and been his own motivation of character. He hoped that he could turn the cheek of character 1. Been as a perfect hero from a child, he was groomed to be the way that he was. Despite his care-free attitude he had his own secrets.
The government had decided to force them to work together to change the other's mind. However that was going to be toll order.
