In the lower circles of hell, Lucifer had given an order, a single order that would be fulfilled by his best, he couldn't let this chance slip by, in the realm of the living on earth, a human resided, he had the power to seal victory in the war on heaven. This human could hear the Angels whispers, he could see the Arch-angels, he could hear the commands given unto them. This was an opportunity he couldn't fail in sealing as his prize. Two demons stood beside him, both powerful beings of the circles "You have your orders, do not fail me" the last words spoken by Lucifer before the two were moved from the pit to the humans realm. The night turned darker, the clouds began to shift as their energy passed into the humans world.

During their arrival into the world, the electricity began to fluctuate, dark clouds loomed over the humans neighborhood, as those clouds moved, if one was watching it seemed as though two lines of the clouds were moving from the biggest, those two clouds of thick black smog descended to the ground, floating in through the houses of their chosen hosts for their stay in the world. The first to find a host was Cesario, the thick black smog seeped through the open window, thank lucifer for summer, the smog descended onto the only occupant of the house a male as it will, in the shadows of the lamp on the desk, the smog forced itself into the male's mouth until the body swallowed Cesario's being, opening his eyes once again reborn anew he smiled, those white fog eyes of a powerful demon retracted into the natural eyes of the person he possessed. He looked at the body, he seemed to have chosen a very strange person, the pants had various straps and buckles that seemed to serve no purpose, the shirt was a swallowtail style, black skulls and various depressing writings on the front, the sleeves also seemed to be detachable, these humans had such strange tastes in clothing. The body looked around 19 to 24 in the mirror, that when he noticed the hair, blue black and with...side spikes and the fringe, what kind of person had he chosen to possess.

Cesario didn't have time to protest his choice, looking at himself in the mirror once more he sighed and packed a back full of clothes and various things he could use, leaving the house with the backpack hanging loosely on his shoulders, looking out into the dark night he smiled as he turned back to face the house, he had left a little surprise for the humans, he watched the house burst into flames, laughing softly as he left down the street, sensing his young partner nearby he stood on a street corner looking out to the road. When she finally came to him, he growled lowly "Don't say a thing about this body" he said looking to her and smiling, walking in the direction of the human they were meant to capture's direction "So what surprise did you leave the humans?" he asked looking her body over and chuckling, he had set a house on fire nothing flashy but it sent a message in its own way.

Viola was listening closely in the confines of her room, a figure stood in front of her, a tall man, dark hair but she wasn't paying attention to his looks, the words he spoke were of more importance, The demons had mad a move on her human, the human that would turn the tide of the war in hells favor or would survive and nothing would change. The demons were close, she had been given the ability to summon an arch angel to her location if they could trap the demons. A male and a female demon had been sent they knew of the first Cesario but the second was mysterious even the lord didn't know of her. This was bad, they had a hidden weapon she first thought of Lilith but it couldn't be her, her power was easy to sense and she had been last sensed in the ninth circle with Lucifer when the demons arrived. She nodded slowly, she had to protect the human she was bound to no matter what happened she couldn't let the demons get him, the reasons they were talking in the human world, they couldn't let the human know he had an angel shadowing him, it would create chaos and they couldn't afford that with so much on the line.

Viola was in a body of a devout soul, someone who prayed to have an angel use them for a divine purpose, everyday she thanked that person for agreeing to this, The body was very slender, curves and a nice bust, it was a good body to get the human to notice her, she wore a white dress, corseted top with a puffed out mid thigh skirt, she was going on a date with the human tonight, well they had prom but she had to go to the school he did to save him and she had to be his date so she could be close in case something happened. She had long pale blond hair, resting neatly against her mid back, the eyes of the girl she possessed were a deep blue she didn't mind the body at all, when her angel informant left she slide the white stockings on slowly, she might have had to tell him she was an angel tonight if those demons did anything to try and capture him so quickly.

That moment was almost an hour ago, she walked the dark streets silently, it was nearing 7:30pm she had promised to meet him at the school at 8, she was going to be a little early if she hurried, she wanted to be early even to make sure she was there from start to finish, if she had to she would let him take her home with him, she couldn't leave him now, not ever since those two had shown up. She arrived at the school 5 minutes early, he wasn't there yet which made her worry but the demons at leas Cesario had been sensed to be almost on the other side of town, demons seemed to have a vanity about them when picking a host body.

The black cloud moved across the night sky, twisting and turning as if caught up in some freak wind that carried it over the city. Finally it seeped into the chimney of the red house on the corner with the white picket fence and the carefully manicured lawn. The cloud filtered into the rooms before coming to the only one with the light still on. Inside was what looked like a shrine for every teenage girl's fantasy. Pictures of androgynous men with tight pants decorated the hot pink walls while glittery objects were literally strewn across the floor. Piles and piles of clothes filled the closet and in the middle of all this chaos was a lone figure sitting in bed and doing her nails. Well, at least that's what she was doing until the cloud seeped in through her mouth and her head was thrown back as she lost control of her body. Blinking slowly it took a few seconds for the clouded white eyes to return to their normal ice blue as the girl looked around like she had never seen her room before. Getting up on unsteady legs she walked over to the dresser mirror and looked at it as if she was seeing herself for the first time. Pink tipped hands ran through the chocolate brown hair as dark blue eyes stared back at her. Looking at her was the face of a human, one that was still developing by the looks of it. The girl was probably 16 and her body was in that awkward stage between adolescence and adulthood where the baby fat was melting away and the curves were really starting to take shape. Twirling a little she watched as the pale pink dress she was wearing fluttered in the wind as the room spun around her. The neck of the dress was cut way too low and it ended too high above the knee to be considered appropriate. Probably an ill attempt to look more mature as the makeup on her face would suggest. All in all the girl looked youthful, pretty and above all innocent. Well this was just fucking peachy.

Kiyara let out a small growl as she looked at her reflection with distaste. Of all the hosts she could have chosen she picked the one that looked like it belonged to what humans always depicted cherubs as. Still, it wasn't like she could do anything now and she had bigger problems on her mind. Looking around the room she grabbed the backpack, pink of course, and tossed in whatever useful things she could find. Another growl escaped her as she tried brushing off the bangs that kept falling in her eyes; it would definitely be time for a haircut once they got their base of operations together. As she moved around the room, small shadows seemed to appear here and there as if coming out of thing air. In truth they were bugs moving around the floor, Locusts to be exact. As she finished stuffing the last shirt in the backpack they had all but covered the carpet and were slowly making their way towards the door. A wicked grin crossed her face as she silently made her way down the stairs and out of the house. Hopefully her little surprise wouldn't go unappreciated when the other humans woke up.

Blue eyes scanned the street as they fell on the figure standing at the corner. She smirked as she looked over the body he had chosen as his host. Kiyara stifled a small giggle as she reached out and pulled on one of the buckles wondering just what its purpose was. "I left them a lovely swarm of locusts. What can I say, I have a penchant for the classics." The sweet looking face seemed to shift as the mischievous grin spread over the foreign features. To her side she could see bright red against the dark sky as what had once been a house was now a flaming beacon in the night.

Closing her eyes slightly she sensed an energy in the air, something decidedly heavenly. "How do you feel about crashing a party?" She asked Cesario as she tasted the angel's energy in the air. It was a special gift of her's that few possessed; the ability to sense angels and even arch-angels. The sneaky bastards had a habit of masking themselves but she could always locate them one way or another. If the angel was there then the human couldn't be too far off and maybe they'd get their job done all the quicker.

------------------

The young boy fussed with his tie as he moved it to the left to actually try and get it centered on his dress shirt. Aiden wouldn't admit it but he had spent the better part of the day getting ready for this night. He'd picked up the tuxedo from the dry cleaners, taken an shower and even spent a good hour trying to gel his red hair in a way that didn't look as if he had just gotten out of bed. Green eyes shifted from left to right as he tried to figure out just where he had put his shoes in the mess he called his room. Dammit all, he was going to be late and Viola would probably kill him if he made her wait there by herself for too long. The girl was always concerned about where he was and the two had been pretty much inseparable for a very long time. Looking in the mirror he had to admit that the tux actually looked pretty decent on him. Usually he tended to look a little on the lanky side with his 6'2" frame but the tux filled him out in a way that made him look less like an awkward teenager and more like the man he was hoping to be.

Having finally found his shoe he checked his watch and ran out the door as soon as he could. A thankful thought crossed in his head that both his parents were at work or else he'd have to spend the next hour posing for pictures and having to hear about just how grown up he looked. The prom was just what he needed after the trip to the doctor's office he had yesterday. They had increased his medication and wanted to send him in for observations next year since the voices were still persisting. The doctors were convinced it was schizophrenia but all the pills they prescribed him still weren't working. The voices still kept him up at night talking about wars and battles. They spoke of secrets of some far away land and made remarks of the oncoming enemy who would bring darkness in the world. The dark circles under his eyes were testament to the many nights he had spent tossing and turning with no hope of sleep in sight. The only time the voices seemed to calm down was when he was with Viola. Somehow the girl had almost a peaceful presence around her that helped put a little sanity back in his life.

His watch read 7:55 which meant he'd make it to school being only 10 minutes late. This was supposed to be their biggest night of the year and he planned on enjoying it thoroughly. Even if that did mean having to wear the black tux and red tie his mother had picked out for him. Even with all the festivities going about the sky seemed strange for some reason. It was only 8 o'clock but it seemed so much later then that. It was like dark storm clouds had rolled in from the south but it didn't look like it was going to rain at all. He shrugged his shoulders and kept walking until he could see the lights coming from the school. Pulling his jacket a little tighter he started crossing the last few blocks to what was probably going to be the biggest night in his 17 year old life.

In the streets, Cesario gave a small grin to Kiyara, her body was rather attractive to humans, that would serve useful in luring information out of the younger men, if they didn't want to make a scene, but not tonight, to long had he been away from the human realm, to long had he not been able to play games with the fragile beings, looking over to Kiyara she was sensing something which was good, a lead would make their job so much easier but slightly less fun "I do hope they get eaten alive then" he said starting to walk towards the school, following the directions Kiyara gave "I do hope someone attempts to stop us, i think we should have some fun while we're here". he said pulling her along, he was in a hurry, when Lucifer gives an order there is no time for taking in the sights, something was going to happen that night, demons would be recognized in that town, or a human went berserk at a prom. The dark clouds seemed to follow them as they moved, the ominous sign of impending doom followed them so effortlessly. The streets were empty besides the few lat night runners, though he would have like to fillet the skin from their bones he had no time for such reckless antics.

The schools auditorium loomed in the distance, as the two demons approached the lights inside would flicker for a moment, the sounds of their footsteps filled the lonely streets they walked through, cold swept over the street, chilling the bone and even some would feel it in their souls. Cesario looked at Kiyara and grinned stopping at the street the school across from them, he pulled a coin from his pocket, looking at her, he flicked it up into the air rater high "Heads takes the angel, tails gets the students" he said as the coin began to fall, the rattling on the ground as it landed, he watched Kiyara giving a sinister smile "so what is it?" he asked as he watched the school, teachers were out the front, and a student most likely the student body president taking tickets, he would get them in, those three humans wouldn't be alive much longer anyway. He motioned to Kiyara to follow hearing the verdict of the coin flip and smiling as he nodded, he had a more calm demeanor about him than her, more than likely the age difference he had been a demon a lot longer than her, but her gift was of great importance to Lucifer.

The start of the less than covert entrance was underway, the calming voice spoke out to the teachers blocking there entrance "Allow us in, you see we lost our tickets and we have someone we need to see" he said calmly, though he was resisting the urge to gouge the eyes from the mans sockets. When the nice approach didn't work his eyes slipped to the white fog, the teacher was shocked but Cesario smiled "Ki...you think our tickets are hidden inside that young lady?" he asked looking to the girl taking the tickets "go check will you" he said looking back to the teachers "we asked nicely" he said looking on the ground seeing a rather large bottle of bleach "Drink up..." he said softly, pressing his index finger against the first teachers forehead, what would happen next no human would be sane after witnessing it, the teacher picked the bottle up and chugged, chugged and chugged away until his life was gone, coughing up blood after the first few gulps he still drank, the powers of extreme gluttony were amazing, when he died, Cesario smiled at the other teacher simply gripping her skull and twisting, he had no time to play games anymore, she would die to before any screams were heard.

Viola could sense those demons, but she was there, the arch angel could protect them if they got close, which was a very reassuring thing, she lent against the wall in her white dress, Viola had been at the school for almost a year now, she had made continuous advances on Aiden throughout that time, eventually getting to friend, then best friend and now they were going to the prom, somewhere deep inside in her own way she contemplated tearing out her grace and staying human with him but she couldn't do that until his power faded away. The Angels continued to whisper Cesario was a big topic today, he was always followed by a younger demon but none knew who it was, one of the white eyed demons wasn't just a minor threat this was big, she hadn't faced a white eyed demon before and she doubted her touch would be able to exorcise Cesario or even his accomplice in the search and capture mission they were sent on.

When Aiden came into view she smiled, running up to him and hugging him tightly, her angelic presence calmed even the most troubled soul but it wouldn't be for long, once Cesario and Kiyara got there. She smiled and gripped his hand softly "Lets go have fun" she said her angelic voice layered with tranquility but that grace was unheard by human ears unless she wanted them to hear it, but not every human couldn't make out an angels voice or even their true form, the last human and angel had shown their true form to, their eyes burnt out of their sockets from the divine light, the least she could do was show her wings if that time had to come. Viola smiled taking Aiden inside the auditorium, this was a special night and she wanted to enjoy her first prom. Even if the demons were coming she could at least enjoy the small part of it they would have, the first thing she did with him, she ran him to the photos, giving him a small kiss on the cheek in theirs, when Aiden's friends came she smiled letting them have a quiet talk she knew they were giving him the talk on catching such a attractive girl like her. She could hear it from there with a little help from her diving being inside the body.

When the lights flickered everyone gasped but they stayed on, Viola knew it wasn't mere electrical problems, they were close and she had to do something, looking at the dance floor she thought she might be able to hide themselves in the crowd while she tried to formulate a plan, she did just that grabbing his hand and smiling "dance with me Aiden please" she said smiling as she put his hand on her hip and smiled leaning against his chest, if she weren't worrying about the beings from hell trying to hunt them she would have enjoyed it a lot more.

Kiyara let the older demon take charge as she followed closely behind him. Any thoughts of a quiet night were gone from her head as she thought of the ensuing destruction that would follow. They'd give these kids a prom that the town would remember for a very very long time. There was an electricity in the air as if the nature around them knew that something big was going to happen tonight. "Oh, I think we'll be having plenty of fun tonight." She licked her lips at the prospects of what was was about to come. With any luck they'd make Sodom and Gomorrah look like paradise when they were through. She watched him with interest as he pulled out the coin and flicked it in the air. Her eyes followed the shiny metal as it slowly made its spiral back to Earth. She wondered what the reaction of the students down in the auditorium would have been if they knew their entire lives depended on a coin flip. While she wasn't shy of torture it was Cesario who seemed to turn it into an actual art form. The demon was feared even in hell with what kind of twisted punishments he could think up. "Tails. The students are yours and the angel is mine." She looked up at him with a grin as the anticipation began to build inside of her.

Walking next to him she watched as he talked to the teacher blocking the entrance. Lifting a neatly manicured hand to her mouth she tried to cover her smile as she watched the scene before her unfold. The pathetic human had no idea who he was talking to but he'd learn soon enough. She actually found pleasure in watching Cesario work, it was like watching a master painter work on his latest project. Taking the hint she looked over at the other woman who was taking the tickets. Her own eyes became a clouded white as her fingernails extended to razor sharp claws and she brought them down on the girl before she even had a chance to register what was happening. They hadn't even been at the school for more then five minutes and already the body count was three. Leaving Cesario to deal with the rest of them she made her way inside to where the other students were gathered.

The demon could feel the presence of the angel somewhere in the room. No doubt she was trying to hide from them in the crowd of people but it wasn't going to work. As her eyes peered over the masses of students in dresses and suits they finally landed on a flash of red and yellow. In the middle of the crowd was a small blond girl with a red headed boy. The blond was the obvious angel and from the way she was holding onto the human Kiyara could only assume that was their target. The crowd seemed to part for her as she made her way towards them, almost as if they could feel the dark energy coming off of her. "Mind if I cut in?" Her voice was sweet but there was a danger that lurked there unlike anything the angel had probably experienced. They needed the boy alive but it would be a shame not to send the angel back to heaven where she belonged. The wicked grin back on her face as she looked at the girl the way a tiger would a mouse. This was going to be fun.

--------------

Aiden smiled as he felt her hug him, glad that with just her presence around things seemed to be more peaceful. The feel of her hand in his brought a small blush to his face as he could feel his palms getting sweaty. He'd been friends with Viola for a while but even he couldn't help but notice how breathtaking she looked in her dress. Over the past year his feelings for her had developed into something more then just friendship and tonight would be the night he finally told her. As his friends entered the auditorium it seemed to him like he was on cloud nine. He was at his prom with a girl he cared about and surrounded by his friends. There was no way anything could go bad.

Aiden winced slightly as a sharp pain passed over him out of nowhere. There had been a few times he'd had that pain though this was the strongest he had ever felt it. It was always the same, like a dagger being put through his heart. Usually it lasted only a few seconds but he had to grit his teeth for a minute before it finally passed. Swallowing hard he tried not to let it show on his face. Most of his friends didn't know about his problems and he didn't need them worrying about him or worse yet being scared of him. The doctors were already convinced that he was crazy and he didn't need the few people in his life that he cared about to think that too. A grateful look passed over him as Viola grabbed his hand and asked him to dance. "I'd love to." He said with a grin as she led him into the middle of the dance floor and they started swaying with the music. Everything was so perfect now and he wanted to hold onto this moment for the rest of his life. Yet in the back of his head he could feel a buzzing as if somehow he was being disconnected from the world around him. The music and chatter of the other students seemed to fade away and he could only hear one other voice. This voice in particular was asking if she could cut in.

Turning around he came face to face with a young girl who looked to be about his age. She was pretty but he hadn't ever seen her in school before. Yet the thing that struck him the most was that her eyes were a clouded white like someone had poured milk into a glass of water. Next to him he could feel Viola tense up as if something big was about to happen. It was almost like sparks were flying between the two girls, like two comets that were about to collide in the night sky and leave nothing but destruction in their wake. Aiden felt himself being pulled into two opposite directions between the two of them. Viola gave off a warm aura and she was comforting him but he was drawn to the new girl and the energy around her like a moth to a flame. "Who-who are you?" He asked in a shaky voice as the pain in his chest started to get stronger. He could feel himself getting breathless and the world around him was starting to spin. Everything was a blur of color and white noise except for the two girls next to him Just what the hell was going on here?

Cesario had plans, for the students, his twisted mind painted a protrait of destruction the would be remembered for decades to come, Kiyara his biggest critic and most trusted companion would be the witness to the artwork he was going to create inside that gym, yes any survivor would never be the same after he unlessed his plans, the demon became different, much more sinister, the dark energy flowing through him magnified as he cocked his head to the side following shortly after Kiyara. She was lost in the crowd after that but he would soon create the distraction she needed, he looked to the stage...no band but just a music player, technology had polluted the world beyond the need for instruments such a shame he would have prefered a more personal number to his work but no matter it would do. Kiyara would enjoy watching his latest creation unfold, the humans however wouldn't be as impressed since they were going to be part of his insane style of art.

In the midst of the crowd he glided his way seamlessly through the crowd towards the stage, his dark presence would be felt by Viola and many he passed, he looked to Kiyara and Viola catching eyes with his target, the white fog eyes staring, as if they were looking into his soul instead of the face. He walked up the steps to the stage smiling as he walked towards the annoucing microphone, he had his song, a very fitting song to the night he was going to create. One that would hail the rebirth of Lucifer when this war was won, looking to Kiayar he smiled as he walked up to the microphone "You all shall be witness to a creation" he said as everyone turned to him he laughed, motioning two young girls to his sides, they indiotically followed, he tap his fingers to each of their heads smiling "Wrath and Envy follow my commands" he whispered to them looking to the loudspeakers that had stopped playing, he began to talk as he did a song came on one no one had listened to before.

In time with the music Cesario smiled sending his two new sins to fight their rivals and kill them in a most un elegant way but he would deal with that as he commended the attention, as the lyrics began he translated just one passage "A day of wrath shall dissolve the world into glowing ashes". As if his words were true thunder began inside the auditorium, the music fueling the setting of his art. In the flashes of light and bangs of thuder one could see large black wings flash in and out of existence behind him, attached to his back "Give them eternal rest!" he yelled as two invisible hell hounds appear at his feet, Kiyara would be able to see them, the dogs of hell that dragged souls of the living to hell, the only people who were unlucky enough to be visited by them were those who made deals with demons but tonight was special. As the song payed those hell hound massacred student after student, Cesario cackled with insanity as he dropped from the stage taking in some of the bloodshe inflicting students with the extreme sins, killing one another in horrid ways. His art was being performed flawlessly as Kiyara would be able to deal with the angel easier with the distraction.

-------------

Viola danced with Aiden for as long as she possibly could, until that voice, the evil layered within it that she could hear so clearly, she didn't want to admit they were there but the demon pulling at Aiden's arm was more than enough proof. She looked to the stage when the speaking began, looking up she saw the young man, the demon Cesario was there to this wasn't good, she had to get Aiden away but as she to looked at Cesario with everyone else time seemed to stop as he spoke, she looked at Aiden and tried to pull him away from demon girl but she was still holding him tightly, it didn't help her in anyway that he seemed to be drawn to her, if they made him sin to much that he couldn't be forgiven he would go to hell no matter what then they could just kill him and make it all the easier. Cesario said something about art she could only think of the worst as she looked at him and the other demon.

When the thunder and flickering lights began in the auditorium she started to worry, she saw his demon wings and looked away from them "A..A Fallen" she whispered looking down, she couldn't fight a fallen, Lucifer was the ruler of hell, Lucifer fell from heaven and was the first, Cesario to was a fallen that would make him more powerful than she could hope but she had her weapon, she dragged Aiden away by force the demon girl's grip relinquished after much struggling looking at Aiden she moved him away. Standing in front of him she put her hands to her chest and began muttering a prayer, the one she was told to say when she needed the arch angel to protect her. Cesario and Kiyara would be fools to fight one of them, even as fallen the Arch Angel would smite the auditorium if it had to.

Viola looked to Aiden as the building shook viloently, the arch angel was coming, she moved Aiden out of the building to the park nearby, she would run him as far away as possible. She knew he would have questions from that, she didn't know if she could answer them all Cesario had done an excellent job in making it impossible to lie about anything with his performance. In the park she hid under an old oak tree, breathing heavily from the paryer and the running, it took a lot of her strength to summon that Arch Angel, she knew it wouldn't be long before they would be hunted again but they had some time at least, looking at Aiden she sat down slowly recovering her breath "Are you okay?" she asked looking at his clothes and hers the blood of their fellow student was stained on them, she knew he wouldn't be ok but that was the dumb question that came out of her mouth. She held her head in her hands the whispering of the angels began anew, Cesario had killed almost 200 students in that school, the angels were in pain from the amount of prayer that were sent, even she was getting the splitting headache that came from the concentrated cluster of prayers.

Kiyara was distracted slightly when she heard Cesario go on stage and make his announcement. The older demon had a certain flair for dramatics and she had to admit that his little show was like a Mozart opera for Hell. All around her she felt the chaos spreading as the humans turned on each other and blood flew through the air. The hell hounds had been set loose and they would take great joy in dragging the living screaming into the pits of eternal damnation. The sight was beautiful in it's own way. What had once been a party all sparkling with decorations and laughter was now littered with pools of blood and screams of terror and the humans were ripped apart one by one. The few that might survive would probably wish they hadn't since this was a sight they would never be able to get out of their minds. They would be haunted day and night by what they saw and perhaps they were the unluckiest of all. Still though, right now she had to focus on the boy. She could feel the angel pulling away at the human and trying to get him away from the sight. They would have no problem taking on the lone angel by themselves but it seemed like she had company to back her up. Kiyara could feel the presence of an arch angel being called as the ground shook around them while screams of pain still echoed through the auditorium.

Closing her eyes, Kiyara reached out with some unknown hand until she finally grabbed hold onto the boy's mind. When she touched him she had been able to make a psychic connection with him that would allow her to talk to him without the angel knowing. 'They all lied to you.' she thought, her eyes had a faraway look to them as if the whole world faded away and the only thing left was her and the human. 'They had you convinced you were crazy and were using you for their own benefit. Don't trust the girl, she is the betrayer.' Where Cesario preferred to handle things with flash she always found that the subtle way worked best. After this night he would start questioning everything and his trust in the girl would be diminished. 'I have the answers to all of your questions. When you finally want the truth all you must do is call out to me and I will answer. Kiyara.' And with that she severed the mental connection before turning back to Cesario.

"We have to go. The girl is summoning an arch angel and I'd rather not be around for that." She grabbed Cesario and started pulling him away from the graveyard that had been the prom. Bodies were laying on the floor with the dresses and suits stained as if this had been some ancient ball of the old times and they were merely sleeping and waiting for someone to come save them. She didn't have to worry about the boy hiding from them, he would want answers and after the days events he would be losing faith in the angels once he found out that they had been using him. No, he would come to them willingly like a moth to the flame and then his soul would be theirs to damn and use. She cast one more look over her shoulder as the ground beneath them started to shake before pulling the older demon out into the night sky. If the angels thought this battle was over then they were sadly mistaken. The smile on her face indicated that it had only just begun.

-----------

Aiden was in shell shock as he saw what was going on around him. The older boy had taken the stage and before he knew it his classmates were dying around him. He kept closing his eyes and opening the, hoping that this was all some horrible dream and that he would wake up in his bed with this just being a foggy memory. No such luck though as he felt drops of blood fall on his cheeks and splatter his clothes as his friends fell around him. He wanted to save them, stop them from hurting each other but Viola was pulling him away from the carnage. He wanted to struggle and stay here to help but his feet moved on on his own accord and she pulled him away from the other girl. Outside he watched as she put her hands to her chest and started muttering to herself, saying something he couldn't full understand. By now his clothes were drenched with the blood of his classmates and the cold night air was drying the red marks permanently to the fabric. This was supposed to be the best night of his life but somehow it had turned into something out of a horror movie. God, he felt like he was going to be sick.

Suddenly a voice spoke to him sounding as if it was coming from inside his own head. It was the voice of the other girl and she was talking to him. She said that they were all lying to him, even Viola. Blinking he looked around to see where it was coming from but he couldn't see anything besides him and Viola. He wanted to scream at her, ask her what she was talking about but he couldn't see the girl anywhere. Finally he got the last message that she had the answers for him and that all he would need to do would be to call her. He couldn't trust her could he? After all, wasn't she with the man who had just killed off most of his class? He was so confused and his head hurt so much, he could feel the voices growing stronger and more chaotic and they tried to send commands to one another about what was happening. Clutching his head in his hands he let out a large scream from the pain of all those voices talking at once. Tears ran down his face and all he wanted was for it to stop. Just for the whole world to stop so that he could finally have his peace.

Looking over at Viola he heard her ask him if he was okay. Had she not just seen the same thing that he had? How could she possibly ask if he was ok with all that they had just witnessed. "No. No I'm not okay." He answered, looking at her as if he was seeing her for the first time. There was something he was hiding, something he wasn't telling her and it was making him angry. Kiyara had called her the betrayer, what if that was the truth? Was she really using him? "I want to know what the fuck just happened!" The anger in his voice evident as she stared at her with intense eyes. He was tired of all the games and just wanted to know what was going on for once in his damn life.

Cesario looked to Kiyara when she grabbed her arm, the insane killer seemed to calmly follow her along even though he was itching to return and mop up the last few students. Even so the shaking building told Cesario enough even without Kiyara's explanation he turned back with her and left the building, Arc Angels were funny that way, they were slow at getting to a place but once they did, well a demon would go to hell for demons, death was uncommon for them since they weren't technically alive but arch angels could kill them for good even if they were fallen, they were still in danger whenever that threat was present. He sat upon the side walk slowly running his fingers through his hair, wiping the blood from his face. Cesario had to think of something, that angel was more of a nuisance than he had hoped she would be, he would not return to hell without the boy, he smiled and looked to Kiyara "Did you manage to get anything out of him?" he asked fixing the blood stains on the white shirt hearing blaring sirens in the distance of the school. Survivors would be telling the tale of how a single boy laid waste to the auditorium, if they even had minds after witnessing the massacre.

Its was hours after they had left before Cesario thought of the next step, he looked to Kiyara and took her hand rather annoyed as he closed his eyes "Connection to Lucifer Now!" he said quite angry that he was going to have to say they failed their first attempt due to the arch angel. In the pits of hell the connection rang out as Lucifer and Cesario began to think their conversation 'Lord, the angel has a hidden shadow following her, an Arch angel has been sent to protect them when she calls, we can't get close without being in danger of that thing', Cesario did get his ear chewed off quite well, though he was more than pleased to hear of the connection they had gained with him. Looking up as the connection severed being yelled at to catch him at all costs. Cesario stood slowly looking down at Kiyara "Where are they going?" he asked looking down to the floor and looking towards the school, it was fun to watch the police try to make sense of the situation if any of the survivors were still sane it wouldn't be long before they went to find the ashes of his hosts home, further increasing the difficulty of finding him.

---------------

Viola looked at him, he was in pain, in her true voice she sent out a whisper, the sound would either be heard by him, or it would threaten to burst his ears from the tone 'Be quite, he is in pain' she heard the whispers die down and eventually they stopped, she couldn't let him deal with those whispers while also dealing with Cesario's slaughter. In answer to her question he was angry, she expected as much, the obvious was easily pointed about but even still she had still asked if he was ok. It was dumb but she didn't mind he wanted to know what was going on, she couldn't tell him could see, that she was an angel of the lord, the the two who had massacred the school we're demons from hell. She didn't know if his mind could handle those facts but in the end she would have to tell him even if he didn't believe her about the truth. She worked on a planned explanation, something that would tell him what he needed to know, but before she could do that she had to calm him down, stretching out her hand she touched his softly so that her calming presence would affect him like normal.

That was all she need to do and once she had touched him she stood looking into his eyes, it was a hard thing to say, to tell someone you weren;t human, to tell him you were from heaven, saying his friends and school mates were all horribly killed by a demon. She would leave one detail out, the knowledge his classmates and friend weren't in heaven, they had been killed by sin and hell hounds, all of them were rotting in the pit form those deaths. She looked down and sighed beginning to explan to him what she needed to "Your school was not attacked by a crazed boy, He is Cesario, a demon of hell" she said looking away and then to the school "The girl who tried to dance with you is also a demon" she said looking at him and trying to make it sound like she was telling the truth even though she was saying stuff that could be classified as mentally insane. In the end it was up to him to believe her, if he wanted to know more she would tell him else where, it was far to dangerous where they were. "We must move, somewhere no one knows, if i had to guess, i'd say they have already gone to you house" she said turning and beginning to walk.

She wanted to tell him she was an angel but she had to make him understand that the two who were at the school weren't humans, if he understood that then he could understand she was an angel but she wanted to tell him somewhere more private, she couldn;t go to her fake home, she couldn't take him to his house, no doubt the demons had already gone there and killed anyone inside even if they did comply with their demands. She looked back at him and motioned him to follow, she knew of a place that would hide them well enough, a devout man had offered his home as a safe haven for an angel a long time ago and it wasn;t to far of a walk to get to it either.

"I managed to make a connection with him. He'll be looking for answers soon and I don't think the angel will be too keen on providing all of them." Kiyara said as she looked over at Cesario. Sirens were blazing in the distance as people tried to make sense of the chaos that had just happened. Of course the police would be asking questions but it's not like she was worried about being found by the men in blue. Hell, if they did meet up with the cops then Cesario would probably just have another chance to blow off some steam and leave his mark. Still though, she was mad that the angel had dragged the boy away before they had been able to talk. Right now she wouldn't mind ripping her wings out one by one and driving a very sharp and pointy object through her body repeatedly.

Kiyara grimaced as Lucifer chewed them out for messing up their shot with the boy. Angering the lord was the least of their intentions considering he could be very creative with the punishments he dished out to those who failed to please him. She hid slightly behind Cesario as Lucifer showed his displeasure. They wanted to please their lord so much but with the angel in the way they'd have to be very careful. "They're going towards the north side of the city." Kiyara said as she closed her eyes and sensed the angel's aura moving away from the auditorium and towards a less populated area. If she had to guess she'd think that the angel was trying to get the boy to a safe haven where the demons wouldn't be able to trespass on. Still, so far the angel didn't know about Kiyara's connection with Aiden and that was a weakness she was more then willing to exploit.

"I'll try to see if I can get the boy to come to us but we need to figure out a way to keep the angel out." She said as she looked over at Cesario. The older demon was more adept to seals and spells then she was and she was hoping he'd have something up his sleeve to keep the angel out. After all, he was a fallen so he had to know what would work against them.

------------

As soon as she touched him he could feel the voices melt away and the same calming presence taking over him. His mind thought back to all the times he would hang out with Viola and how it always seemed to make him calm down. He had always thought it was because she was his best friend and she knew him better then anyone else but how much did he really know about her? There was something she was hiding, that much he knew but Kiyara said that Viola had been using him. Was her presence like a drug for him to calm him down and stop him from questioning what was going on around him? He was so confused and it seemed that with every passing second the questions just kept piling up and yet he still wasn't getting any answers.

"Demons?" He asked slowly as he looked over at her. He wasn't sure if she was joking at first but one look at her eyes told him that she was dead serious. "But demons don't really exist." Aiden tried to protest weakly as he tried to reason what had happened in the auditorium. Demons couldn't really exist could they? They were just stories that grandparents told their grand kids to get them to be still and go to bed on time. Sure they'd talked about Demons in church but he had never thought much of it. Besides, weren't demons supposed to have horns and tails and be ugly monsters? Sure the boy dressed like a punk and hand some strange hair but it wasn't anything he hadn't seen at the skate park before. And the girl looked like a doll more then she did an evil harpy. "Why? Why would they have gone into my house? What about my parents and my friends?" Everything out of his mouth seemed to be a question as his brain struggled to process what she was telling him. Was this really the truth or was Viola lying to him like Kiyara had said? He'd been friends with her for so long but this night had completely changed him. He just wanted to go back in time before all of this had ever happened and live his life out normally. Was that so much to ask?

Reluctantly he followed behind her, wondering just where it was they were going. She seemed to be avoiding his questions and he so desperately wanted answers. In the back of his mind he kept thinking about the other girl and how she had promised him the answers he so craved.

Cesario looked to the auditorium for a second, turning on his heel he walked towards the house that Kiyara had left, that was the place they could go, no doubt the angel had assumed them to go to the boys home, sadly he didn't know where that was, in the end they could use the place Kiyara had plagued as their base of operations for now. Looking at the smaller girl he smiled "At least i got to have some fun today" he said looking at the house seeing the large swarm of locust flying about the suburban home. It was small but it would do, looking to Kiyara he sighed going through the bag he had brought with him, inside was a small knife, engraved with runes, it could kill a demon of lesser power but for him and Kiyara it would cause pain but not death, well it would just send them to hell if they were killed by it but that wasn't his intention. Looking to Kiyara he smiled "Prepare for your meeting, i shall deal with the angel, you'll get at most 5 minutes before she summons the arch angel work fast" he said looking down and cutting his wrist with the blade, his blood began to flow heavily, the host would die when he left the body but his blood was the only thing that would make the seals work. Intricate designs would lay across the buildings walls, they glowed blue, angels would not be able to enter the house, he went inside smiling as he sat down the locusts were gone thankfully, though the family of the girl weren't in the best of shape.

The symbols were the strongest he knew, but even Lucifer himself didn't know how to stop an arch angel, mostly the arch angels would purge a place, smiting it and all evil inside to oblivion, Humans and Angels would be unharmed of course but Cesario and Kiyara wouldn't be after it. If he could distract the angel for long enough Kiyara could use her more subtle skills to get him on their side, that was if he would even show up to meet them, if he did it was a sure thing the angel would follow, looking down at the floor he wanted to pass the time, he had already thrown the corpses of the family in the dumpster nearby, he had cleaned himself at Kiyara's direction. Something about not wanting to scare him more than he already was, looking at the floor he smiled "I remember when you first came to hell" he said looking up at the girl and laughing it was a long time ago, centuries though in hell it was millenia, funny how time works in hell something about prolonging the torture of sinners. He looked up at Kiyara and smiled "Its been almost 2 millenium since we've been partners right?" he asked, it was a long time ago they had been assigned together, he was skilled at destruction she was skilled at being more controlled and subtle in her methods.

It was good to remember those years, but that memory was not to last long, before long it was time for him to prepare to fight the angel, he wasn't happy about it, he couldn't kill an angel here, not without the proper weapon, such annoying things they were, demons weren't any easier to kill but he just hated having to try harder than being able to toy with his victims. Standing and leaving the room he patted Kiyara's head before he left to the outside standing in the shadows. The angel would sense him if they came but not if he stood close to the symbols till then he waited for them, they would come to him soon enough. Kiyara would give him an earful if he got to into the moment and jumped the gun before she could get the boy alone.

----------------------

Viola looked back at him and sighed softly "I'll answer when we get to a safe place please just trust me" she said looking forward, the house was getting closer, when they got there she knocked on the door and smiled at the man who answered "Father Gregory, we need your assistance, please you offered us your home once before in his name i ask you offer it again", the man was in shock but he nodded, an angel had answered his offer and wanted a place to stay, he nodded at them and as she requested privacy he nodded and left them to a guest bedroom. Viola tapped the door creating a soundproof barrier so eavesdropping was not possible, she had the utmost trust and respect for the priest but he was still human and curiosity was their weakness. In the room she sat down on the bed and smiled "I have a lot to tell you please" she said looking down at the chair against the wall and smiling.

As he was seated she smiled and looked him in the eyes "In answer to your question, yes those two were demons, they came from hell to create evil" she said looking at her hands and sighing this was going to be difficult even to say they were demons but more so about his parents, though she didn't know that the demons hadn't even gone to Aiden's house, she didn't know Cesario had expected her to make that descision and completely avoid the boys home. "Your parents are most likely dead, Cesario isn't know for leaving people alive" she said looking at him "No doubt you've heard the whispers of him, a fallen angel in command of Lucifer, this is why i have to keep you here, demons won't enter this place" she said looking down and sighing this was indeed a difficult conversation, she knew of an easier way but she was trying to avoid it. Though at this point it didn't seem like she had a choice, standing and walking to him she smiled "This will be faster, though it may hurt, you'll understand when its done" she said looking at him and kissing him, passing her knowledge of Cesario to him, the brief knowledge the angels had on Kiyara and the truth of what she was.

When she pulled away she hoped he wouldn't consider it lies, she had hoped he would accept it as truth but it wouldn't be easy, angels hadn't actually helped anyone for centuries something about God's will told them that they had to let the world follow its own path and not have its hand held by the angels. She sat down on the bed again and looked at him "Do you understand now?" she asked thinking of the two possibilities, the first he would believe her and follow her directions to survival, the second was less pleasant, he would leave and the demons would catch him, it would have helped her decision if she knew the demons were tracking her and only followed her location she would have been able to let him go on his own but knowledge of Kiyara wasn't finished yet know one had met her, none knew her power besides Lucifer and Cesario and they wouldn't be questioned for a long time.

Kiyara watched him intently as he took out the knife and started making designs with his blood. Taking a seat on the couch, the locusts seemed to clear the room as the demons entered. The family that had sleeping peacefully only hours ago was now no more then bones and rotting flesh. The sight reminded her of the good old days when plagues would run rampant and they would actually have something fun to do with their now. Ever since penicillin had been invented it seemed like all the good diseases had been wiped out. Ah what she wouldn't give for another bubonic plague to come and take care of some of these humans. Hell knows they had more then enough people that they could do with some annihilation. "Five minutes should be enough time for me to get through to him. The boy is probably confused and unlike the angel, I have no problems with lying." She said with a smirk as she stretched her hands over her head and tapped her foot against the wood floor. Aiden probably didn't even know what was real or not anymore, that would make it all that much easier for her to fuck with his mind. While Cesario was a master with flash she could sell ice in the north pole with no problem.

"Mhm, I remember that. You scared the crap out of me." Kiyara said with a small chuckle as she pushed back some hair out of her eyes. Ages ago she had once been a sweet human girl living in a small village with her parents and sister. Everything had been so nice until the war broke out and the enemy had invaded her village. They did terrible things with no care of morals or laws. She had seen her family destroyed before her eyes and felt their dirty hands on her body. It was then that she had sold her soul to a demon, Ipos, for the ability to destroy the invaders. After that she had been sent to hell where she was made a demon and partnered up with Cesario. Surprisingly she actually found herself getting along pretty well with the fallen angel. They balanced each other well and he wasn't stuffy like some of the other demons. Best of all, she knew she could count on him to get the job done.

Getting up from her seat she felt someone calling out to her. The boy wanted to talk to her; he needed an explanation. "They're going to be coming soon. Are you sure you'll be ok with the angel?" Kiyara knew that Cesario was strong but the angel had an arch angel watching over her. The other girl had probably tried to give Aiden her side of the story but with any luck Kiyara would be able to tell him otherwise.

----------------

Aiden followed her to the house as a clerical man opened the door for them and led them to the guest bedroom. Looking around his head was still in a haze as he tried to make sense of this whole night. His body and mind were both so tired and he just wanted to lay down and go to sleep. Sitting down next to her he started fidgeting with his hands, not knowing exactly what to do now. Even with the massacre he had just witnessed there was something about Viola that made him feel better. The world was ending around them but the girl had a calming presence on him.

"They're dead?" His voice was numb as if he didn't fully understand what she had just said. He had just witnessed his friends die before his eyes and here she was telling him that his family was probably dead at the hands of a fallen angel. He should have been crying or yelling but inside all he felt was nothing. It was like all feelings had been zapped away from him and all he was left with was a gaping hole in his chest that couldn't be filled. Why? Why did this have to happen to him? Sure he wasn't a perfect person but he always tried his best to do well in school and be respectful to his parents. What could he have possibly done that God would punish him like this? Looking over he saw Viola lean towards him before he felt her lips on his.

He'd been dreaming about this moment for such a long time now but this was nothing like he'd expected. He had always thought that they'd have a shy and sweet first kiss with her in his arms as they slow danced at the prom. Never once did he think it would happen after everyone he cared about died. He winced in pain as her knowledge passed through to him. The angels, demons and even the strange girl at the dance. Were these the answers he had been craving or were they more lies? He wanted to believe her so much, to trust her completely but there was another side to the story and he wanted to hear it. "I...I'm still confused though." His hand reached out for her's as he tried to search her eyes for answers. "I want to believe you Viola, I really do. But I need to know everything before I decide." He looked away from her as his mind was racing. It would probably hurt her that he didn't believe her right away and it killed him to not trust her but this was too important to just take a chance on.

'Kiyara, are you there? I want to talk to you.' He hoped she could hear him and answer back. Suddenly he got a flash of a house he had seen around the neighborhood with directions to go there and meet with her. This probably wasn't safe but he needed to talk to her. He needed to find his answers and she might have some of them that even Viola didn't want to share. "I'm going to go meet with her." Aiden said as he got up from the bed and moved the chair so he could leave. Maybe she'd try to stop him but he had made up his mind about going.
