What I bring to the table:
I am a decent writer, I think. Not great and wonderful, but not horrible either. I write anything from a semi paragraph to multi paragraphs for my responses depending on what is needed. I love things like character development and world building. I can generally post 1-2 responses a week, sometimes more and rarely less. I am friendly, not demanding, love OOC chatter. I enjoy grand sweeping epic stories with multiple characters, world building, etc but not every story has to be that. A little snug and cozy or brutal and short is fun too.
I am primarily looking to play caretaker/protective character types - or play against them. I want trauma, angst, nightmares, bad people hunting the poor omega/sub, being brought up out of poverty - all that ridiculousness.
What I look for in an RP partner:
I came looking for third person, but after playing with a certain RP partner that has changed. I now love 1st person and second person. But I also enjoy third person - so very open here.
Please be patient – I sometimes take a bit to respond. I may see your post or message (I check BMR frequently) and not be able to respond right away. But if it's been more than a day since I responded to your non-RP private message feel free to send me a reminder nudge. I live in terror of letting a PM fall through the cracks. I cannot emphasize this enough - PLEASE be patient. I am excited about our RP too but if you are always asking me about my response I will simply end the RP after several warnings. This is for fun, not stress.
Please do not be offended if I say no. Sometimes two good RPers simply aren't a good match. Either kink wise, writing style, etc.

I like a wide variety of kink and not-kink. I I don't mind things getting dark – even VERY dark. But I love happy endings. Not saying no to bad endings, but I have a strong tendency to wanting happy endings. Flist

It's more than the physical. Sex is mental. I include introspection. Perhaps too much even. But I feel it add a lot of depth of character.
In regards to dominant and submissive I am generally referring to them as personality traits, not formal BDSM. I am open to that of course, but not overly familiar with it.
I write dominant/submissive/switch and write both male or female though lately all I have really been wanting M/m in my stories. I am open to many variations of male though - from strong alpha dominants to pretty, flirty cuntboys.

Plots:
The East, West, and Southern kingdoms (to be named) live in an uneasy peace. The Eastern Queen and the Western King are at each others throats, their constant bickering refereed by the Priests of the Four Winds. The fat old Southern King spends his waking hours in his cups or between the succulent thighs of whatever slut graces his bed at the moment. The Northern King....well....no one has seen hide nor hair of the Northerners for generations except for occasional expeditions by the priests, seeking to convert the barbaric, savage northerners back to the fold of the Church of the Four Winds. But the northerners vanished into the thick dark northern forests of the great Isle of Kiron generations ago and have never given any indication of wanting to return.
Until now.
The Northern king (he calls himself a Prime) has agreed to negotiate a tying together of the Northern peoples to the others of the Four Winds. A great assembly of the royal families is called by the priests, to be held at the holy site o the Temple of the Four Winds.
Caelus is the youngest son of the Eastern Queen. He is the epitome of the young spoiled prince. Nearly 19 years old, he is pampered, spoiled, petulant. His three older brothers and sister all love him but are frustrated with his constant whining and refusal to step up and perform his royal duties. But they are even more frustrated by their mothers continued enabling of Caelus, allowing him to do as he pleases. What he pleases seems to be lots of lounging about reading, spending time on the tropical beaches that lie within eyesight of the castle, and collecting and tending to stray, injured animals. He is gay and no one cares. In fact his brothers have tried to set their brother up with lovers, but their first bumbling attempt resulted in Caelus approaching a straight man who laughed in his face and Caelus was so offended and humiliated he never again responded to signs of interest or attempts at setting him up.
Apparently though, his days of doing as he pleases is over, because his mother demands his attendance at the assembly and during the third day of negotiations it is announce that Caelus will be marrying the youngest son of the Northern Prime.
The youngest son of the Prime doesn't want this marriage either. But he permits it, because his father has a plan. There is a disease spreading through the Northern children, a torturous, brutally painful wasting disease that starts in their toes and creeps up their legs. Crippling them and leaving them in agony for months before they pass as the disease reaches their abdomen. There are few healers in the north and they have none of the expertise of the other healers on the mainland. But the wasting disease started not long after the last of the Saline trees died out, taking with it the bright red fruit that had been a staple of the northern diets for generations. The general consensus is that the Saline fruit is the cure for the wasting disease. Distrusting of the priests and the mainlanders, the Prime has decided that informing them of the need of the Northerners will result in the fruit being used to control them. Therefore, the North will take the Saline fruit by force. Together with his council and his sons, they arrive at a plan.
They will make overtures and seek a marriage alliance with the Eastern Queen. After several months of married life Caelus will be 'kidnapped' by Northerners posing as Westerners. The Queen will receive the severed hand of her son and be goaded into war against the West. Once the West has fallen, it will be simple for the northerners to turn on the East. And once they control the east and west, the South is theirs for the taking. The Prime insists the people will be free to govern themselves as long as tribute of Saline fruit is regularly sent to the north. But there are some northerners who think they deserve more than just fruit.
I greatly prefer to play Caelus here, but am willing to play the northern son as well. I see this story going in three phases:
1. The marriage of two hostile parties, travel to the north, and then time in the north where they are in forced proximity. An uneasy trust building, affection, Caelus settling into his new northern home, then something close to love, some secrets starting to come to light.
2. Caelus learns what was intended for him, though by now his husband has no intention of carrying through with it. Dramatic times, broken trust.
3. The return to the mainland, peace is sought, groveling is done and redemption is sought by Caelus's husband
