The alien had only been on the planet for a few hours when it came across a young human called Elliott. It had been left on Earth to study the human race so meeting the boy had been a stroke of good fortune. For the past four days the human had hidden it away from the authorities allowing the alien to learn about the humans from what they called television and the internet. Learning about human history their technology and their many different cultures and races. The only other human the ET had come into contact with during that time was the human's slightly older brother.
After being either stuck in the Elliott's room or hidden away in a cupboard for days on end the ET decided it was time take to explore the rest of the house. The boy had told him to stay hidden but what harm would it do to take a look around. Peering around the bedroom door as it slowly opened it. Checking that there was no one around before it quietly shoved along the landing. It was hard to walk when your belly was resting on your feet as the ET's was.
The first room ET came across looked very much like Elliott's room except that it was even more untidy so it guessed that it was most likely to be the boy's brother. The next one had a strange looking seat in it which filled with water when a lever was pulled. After playing with the taps feeling the cold water running over his big hands and extremely long fingers it left the room moving to the next one down the corridor.
As ET crept forward towards the room at the far end of the corridor he heard a human female's voice call out. Freezing standing completely still it desperately looked for somewhere to hide!
