Steam swirled about the sacred hot springs to the sound of gently falling water as the main pool fed into the ones below. The humid air smelled of the jasmine, lilacs and the other flowers that grew wild and untamed. Surrounding it all was a dense forest, only deer paths marking the way through.

Following one of these paths, just cresting the rise, came a single woman. Long dark hair, pale skin, green eyes, ruby red lips...she seemed to be perfectly at ease with the idyllic surroundings. She picked her way around the springs, making for one of the smaller ones below.

Once there she disrobed, sliding out of her silken garments one piece at a time until she was completely naked. With a smile, she looped her long hair up in one smooth motion and pinned it into a messy bun with a jade hairpin. Then she gingerly entered the pool, moving slowly at first, then with growing confidence as she found the perfect depth and sank down with a happy sigh.

The summer up on the mountain had gone by so quickly, the same as it did every year. Ali was going to miss it, but it was time for her to return home for the fall harvest. She sighed, lowering down in the water until her breath made bubbles appear on the surface. If only something truly spectacular could happen to break up the monotony of her life.

Ali should have remembered the old saying, "be careful what you wish for." For as she enjoyed the warmth of the water and steam of her bath, there was a faint sound of white noise beginning to echo through the breeze. It was like static from a television set stuck between channels, growing both louder and higher in pitch. Wherever she looked to find the source, there was nothing to see. Everything looked the same as it did from before she entered the hot spring.

But when the noise became so loud it started to irritate her ears, that's when she would notice something up above in the sky. A light shining through the clouds like a ray of sunshine. But the color was green. Almost neon as it started reflecting off the water and shine so brightly, it blinded Ali. It grew in size until it seemed the whole spring was engulfed by it, and the noise was becoming unbearable. Then came the rumbling, as the ground started shaking. At first, a light tremor, but turning into what would feel like the mountain turning into an errupting volcano.

The tranquility was gone, replaced with an unknown danger she could not comprehend. And just as it seemed like she would be killed by whatever was causing this chaos... There was a thunderous bang. Followed by the water splashing all over her like a small wave was crashing into her face. The light vanished, the noise stopped, and the mountain stabilized. Like everything that happened actually didn't. Except something did change because of it. The thing hat caused the water to splash all over her suddenly jumped up out of it.

"GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASP!" A human man stood up from the center of the spring like he had been drowning, gasping for air and spitting up whatever water was in his mouth. He stood at least 6'4, so the water reached up to his hips, but he was wearing clothing Ali would have never seen before. A black and dark blue track jacket with a black T-shirt underneath, and grey sweat pants with running shoes under the water. He was a burly looking man, with short brunette hair, brown eyes and a stubble beard, but he looked absolutely baffled by whatever just happened to him. He was frantically looking all over the place, first checking to make sure he wasn't injured by the fall, then to see where he actually landed. And noticed Ali last as he finally turned his body enough to notice the woman.

".... Uhhh.... Hi," was all he said, freezing in place and giving a small wave.

Ali felt the sound before she heard it, and soon ripples in the water gave proof to the disturbance. She looked all around, standing in the water to reveal the wet slopes of her breasts as she turned this way and that, trying to find the source of the growing turbulence, but it felt and sounded like it was coming from everywhere!

She tried to prepare a defensive spell, a ward of protection - but from where? And what? Without a focus for her concentration, her burgeoning spell fell apart, wasting what mana she had drawn to power it.

When he touched down and the wave of warm water crashed over her, she couldn't have been more surprised despite the impending world upending all around her. She was soaking wet from head to toe, stunned. Frozen to the spot where she stood naked to the waist in warm water not five feet from him.

Silence reigned after he spoke, only the sound of water gurling into the hot springs from above for a hot second - and then Ali screamed! A big sound coming from such a small woman that sent what birds were left in the trees into flight.

"AHHHHHH! I'M SORRY, I'M SORRY, I'M SORRY!" Was all the stranger yelled back to Ali, covering one ear with his left hand, and blocking her exposed chest with his right. He immediately started backing up to the edge of the hot spring, tripping over himself in the process and falling into the water. And then doing so again as he crawled out over the edge of the rocky wall, as the soggy sweatpants were now five more pounds heavier, and falling to his knees with the waistband undone.

Upon trying to stand back up, he once again used one hand to block his view of the naked Ali, and the other to pull up his pants. But, lacking attention to his surroundings, tripped over an exposed root to one of the trees that provided shade to the spring, and immediately started tumbling down the side of a hill. He let out a yelp right before his back hit the ground, before yelling inaudibly for every roll he made and rock he hit on the way down.

The hill wasn't very long, but by the time the stranger reached the bottom, his forehead struck a jagged rock and knocked him out cold. While his pants went flying off and left him with only his briefs to cover up his privates.

The yell back took Ali by surprise and she yelled again, so they were both yelling for all the world to hear - not that there was anyone around... Her scream died off in ebbs and flows until she was just simply watching, stunned, as the strangely dressed man fell into the water, then scrambled ashore with those odd pants down around his ankles.

She had started laughing to herself by the time he'd pulled up those water-logged sweats, and had the wherewithal to remember herself and her own nudity. She ducked down so she was no longer so exposed. That he had had his own hand up to block her naked form from view was not lost on her. An otherworldly gentleman?

Ali was just about to say something when he went over backwards and out of sight!

"Oh no!" she cried, scrambling out of the water and back into her clothes as quickly as she could. No sound emanated from below, and she feared the worst as she took up her belongings and went looking for him. First, she found his pants - then she found the man.

"What strange garments are these?" she asked as she went down on her knees before him, looking into his handsome face. Everything about him was exotic and interesting. She'd never seen anyone quite like him, before.

"Hello?" she asked, kneeling quite close and putting her ear over his lips to feel if he was breathing. "Are you okay?"

He was breathing. But the poor man was out. And a small trickle of blood was going down his face from where the rock struck his head. A quick search of his jacket pockets would show a mobile phone on less than fifty percent health, and thankfully not wet enough to be killed off for good, and a leather wallet.

There was money inside, two credit cards, and some gift cards to something called 'Subway,' 'Five Guys,' and someone named 'McDonalds.' There was ID at least. His driver's license that has his picture.

'Alec Duggan.' Age 26, residing from Glasgow, Scotland.

Ali breathed a sigh of relief as she felt the man's breath on the sensitive cup of her ear. "Well, you're alive at least," she said, sitting back on her heels and looking him over. Leaning forward again she placed her hands upon him, one at his knee and the other on his forehead. She closed her eyes and focused within his body, sensing for any grave injuries and found none.

Pursing her lips, she looked him over, and made his head more comfortable on a hummock of dirt and grasses. He'd be awake soon enough, but in the meantime she wanted to learn more about this man - for one, he was so tall! She was around 5'4 herself, and most men were a bit taller than her, but he was a giant in comparison! A human with the height of an elf...she'd never seen such a thing.

She went and found his strange pants and hung them over a branch nearby to dry. Then she knelt by him once again and patted him down, hoping to find some kind of clue that would explain his sudden presence - it was beyond obvious that he wasn't from around here. She found his wallet, and was glad to find she could read the magically clear text.

The square pieces of plastic were beyond her, and she was sitting cross legged next to him, curiously licking one of the cards, when Alec finally woke. The contents of his wallet were spread all around her on the forest floor, and she was so absorbed she didn't notice when he roused.

"BAH!" He didn't do much rouse from his sleep, as he did bolt upright like waking from a nightmare. Alec was panting as he looked around again, once again confused by his surroundings. He thought he dreamed all that, but seemingly it did happen. The proof was in the strange woman... Licking his cards?

"... What the hell are you doing?" He asked he, trying to stand back up, but only to fall back on his butt from the pounding headache he had.

"Ack!" Ali was startled mid lick (highly unsatisfying, though the credit card had a certain pleasing, cool smoothness against her tongue) sprawled back onto her butt as the man once again spun up into a flurry of motion - and fell over. Again.

She had to laugh as she tucked her hands behind her back and blinked up at him with true innocence. "Nothing?" she asked, careful not to make any sudden movements for fear of sending him running off into the forest without his pants.

Her eyes skipped to his boxers and then quickly away, the hint of a blush rising to her cheeks. "You lost your pants," she said, giving a light cough and turning her face away. "I didn't strip you. They're - they're over there." She pointed to the tree where his sopping wet pants dripped limply.
