Welcome to Jurassic World campers!
You guys have been handpicked out of a bunch of hopeful people to come spend a week in the deep jungle of Isla Nublar. Where danger roams around every corner! Kidding, they're safe behind high tech top notch fences, or well you're safe behind the fences.
Anyway, what's going to happen here? Fun, that's what. Basically we'll be giving you guys an extensive tour of our laboratories, we'll be walking the fence perimeters to learn how much electricity it actually takes to keep a Tyrannosaurus Rex in its enclosure, how much it eats and how it hunts. Pretty cool stuff!
You'll each have your own rooms, there's a great breakfast buffet in the mornings and we will keep you fed throughout the day. If we are called out of camp, then please stay in the common areas, it is strictly forbidden and you will be on the first boat home!

So, let's all get along, learn some extremely cool stuff and stay out of trouble. At no point are you permitted to touch the dinosaurs unless we give you permission. So, last but not least, have fun!

Finally got around to writing and making something that was worth posting.
Anyways, I have been in an insane dinosaur mood, so why not check if people were down to join? If you want to join, please don't just mention you want to join, I won't hold any spaces until you've filled out a character sheet and posted it below, or dm'd me the sheet. Anyhow to get down to it; it's supposed to be taking place while Jurassic World is starting to fall apart.
Haven't seen any of the movies or the spin-offs? Totally fine! You genuinely don't have to know what a Parasaurolophus and a Kentrosaurus looks like. Or you know, what the difference between a Pachycephalosaurus and a Stygimoloch is.
The whole idea is that a group of 6 (depending how big of an interest there is) has been chosen for an exclusive behind the scenes experience over a week.
A few days later there's a break out and chaos ensues as the Indominus breaks free, the whole island is evacuated, but the 6 prime guests. Now they have to survive Isla Nublar until someone comes back to get them.
Someone will come back to get them, right?
Basically, I'll be gently dming it in terms of certain happenings and how I want the story to evolve. The basics are that this group of people are now stuck on a deserted island with only Dinosaurs. They have to find a way off of Isla Nublar and they have to work together or they will die. Who are they? That's up to you guys, I'd love to see a colorful cast, different types of people with different backgrounds who act differently. (If you've seen Camp Cretaceous then you'll know what I mean) But yeah! We'll spend two or three days with the guides, who I'll be playing, until stuff starts going bad, and then after that the cast will be on their own. After those two/three days, I'll switch over to my main character who will either be part of the group or will join up after the island is evacuated.
Feel free to ask questions below if you're unsure about something, or have a suggestion! I'll probably be making a simple as hell Discord for ooc chatter and stuff. I might make it episodic but I'm not super sure about that yet.

So! Character creation, simple, it is not a fantasy setting, except of course for Dinosaurs. But we do not have magical powers! Of course, all the characters can form friendships differently, they can flirt do whatever, but keep anything that can’t be “faded to black” in private or we can come up with something together.
Is your character super smart? Okay sure, but make it annoying.
They. Need. Flaws. I absolutely will call out Mary/Gary Stu's or question stuff. In terms of face claims? I would prefer realistic pictures, but I'm okay with drawn art/AI or just descriptions if you're not comfortable finding a FC. Anime is acceptable depending on what your character looks like. If they look like Naruto or Hatsune Miku then I might have a small problem with it. This is a fair warning.
