Gravity is something we're all used to, and something we often take for granted. If you fall over, you land on the ground. It's a simple enough relationship to understand. For decades now there have been studies conducted to measure the effects of just what happens when a human exists in micro or low gravity environments for extended durations. Humanity has found various ways around these issues, ranging from the pharmaceutical to the mechanical and the much simpler but significantly more expensive option of prioritising the colonisation of worlds with a surface gravity similar to that of Earth.
Only... That seems a little... Narrow minded. After all, what's the use in spreading through the stars if only to guarantee that we stay the same, with all the same vulnerabilities and requirements? Why not spread further, allow ourselves to change, to diversify, to be hammered by the radiation of strange stars on the anvils of unfamiliar worlds?
Mayra is one such human being. Their world practises deliberate acceleration of mutations believed to be evolutionary in nature, in the interests of more rapidly acclimatising the citizenry to an environment their species never evolved for.
Mayra is approximately 7'4" tall, a little on the chubby side compared to the rest of their particular subset of humanity, female as far as reproduction is concerned but they come from a culture in which gender is less about an expression of identity than an expression of preference. Terms equivalent to 'femme' and 'masc' do still exist, but with far, far less correlation to any sense of binary gender than you or I are used to. The flip side however is that they'll take any pronouns you care to name.
Mayra is open to.... Anything. Consent and romance are their only absolute requirements, but be warned, Mayra has their own kinks and fetishes too, but biggest among those is contrast.
