The journey to become a qualified doctor was always a challenge and a semi long one at that, in comparison to some other career pathways but it had been something that Seth had been wanting to do since he was a young child. Helping people was something he had always tried to do and although sometimes it meant delivering bad news and things like hardcore surgeries that could go wrong.. it still felt worthwhile. When you know you were the one that saved someones life or helped them get better. So far he had not had a chance to save someone yet, although personally Seth did not want such a responsibility just yet as he was not ready for such a thing. He was taught the correct procedures and apparently did brilliantly on the tests and was one of the best with skills, for a newly trained doctor but emotionally he was not ready if it all went wrong. Which there always was a chance for such a thing to occur and even the best sometimes made mistakes that ever cost lives, or made the chance of survival much lower then what it originally was which in turn means the family realize that the member of that family unless a miracle happens will be lost.

Still if he was ever needed for an emergency in the hospital that he worked in, he was ready for such a thing but for now no such thing had came up. That meant obviously the other doctors seemed capable or available as for now he was still really on mainly trial patients. Meaning they were not as bad, and it was just to test him in general although they were real people and real injuries, or problems but they were considered small compared to some of the more important or critical of the patients in some of the more intensive care wards or standard emergency ward. He figured it would like that for a few years at least until they were sure of his abilities although such a thing he did not mind, since so far he had managed to help people and felt great about the job that he got to perform on an every week day basis. All throughout school he had always stated how he would become a doctor, and even his friend encouraged him although the one that seemed to be most impressed by such a thing was the younger sister. Of which secretly Seth had bit thing for although never did he admit it. It was not worth possibly accidentally jeopardizing a very good friendship just to let her know.

Instead he stayed silent keeping such a thing to himself, attempting to date others but really it never worked out all to well, since they did not seem to understand him. Although from a few times when her brother was not there.. he found out she pretty much understood him as they talked or hung out together whilst he waited for Jason to get back from what ever he was doing. Fact was because she was there it was the actual reason he visited much more then he would have if she had not been. Since he would have just got Jason being a good mate to sometimes come over his instead of always just Seth traveling to theirs. It had been a while though since he had last visited, maybe a year or so, since things had got to intense with the courses, the practical work and now he was actually qualified. He really only had weekends and even then sometimes not even that. Still he hoped soon that he would get a chance to visit Jason and his sister, since he knew that she would have grown up well over the year he had not seen her, since the last time he had seen her. Well lets just say he was quite amazed

In the year since Seth had seen his best friend's baby sister Roxanne had grown up a lot. The last time he had seen Roxy she had just begun her Junior year of high school and now, she was a Senior and there were only a few months of school that stood between her and graduation. It was a weekend in the middle of February and she had been driving for about an hour now. She still had a couple hours of driving ahead of her to get to her destination: A hospital in the town that Jason and Seth had been attending college. Jason had broken his leg and Roxanne was going up to see him, to make sure that he was alright although there wasn't a doubt in her mind that he had broken his leg either showing off to a girl he liked or trying to show up one of his buddies. Not that Roxanne would openly admit it, but, Jason wasn't the only reason she was making the trip; the other reason was to Seth.

Roxanne was beautiful for a girl her age. Her hair was the rich, dark Brown color of Dark chocolate that was long and curly and her Emerald Green eyes and her light completion provided for a stunning contrast. Today she had her long hair pulled back into a pony tail, out of her eyes. Usually she wore it down. Today she was wearing a pair of dark wash jeans and a 'Shinedown' t-shirt. Over that was a plain, black zip up hoodie. Around her neck was a gold chain of Seth's, it had. been a birthday present from him last year, before him and Jason had both left for college. On Roxanne's right hand ring finger was was her class ring. On her right wrist was a tattoo of the word 'Dreamer' in a fancy script. with shooting stars and crescent moons in every color around it.

A few hours passed and Roxanne was just getting into the town where she needed to be. As she was stopped at stop light she pulled out her phone, quickly text messaging her parents to let her know she made it to her destination okay. She then text messaged her brother, pressing the 'Send' button right before the light turned green. Roxanne was clueless as to what would happen next.

A small sigh left Seth as he was told he could take his break now, depending on the length of the shift sometimes he was used to having two although for once they told him to take both at once. Since boredom happened pretty fast with just over an hour to do what ever in, he decided to go for a drive seeing as at least their was a few things he could grab from a few of the main shops in town. Driving around he picked up what it was that he had needed and grabbed a little bit of food eating it reasonably fast only used to usually having about half the time he had now to do all of this. Which meant he would have way to much time left over. During his break most times he would be seen wearing a pair of blue low fitting jeans, with a standard belt. His shirt today being a plain black t-shirt with a tribal lion design on the front, and two tribal small flames on each sleeve.

After spending some idle time just sitting in the car, he decided to go for a little drive just at random not really knowing where to go. As he drove he slowly pulled up at the lights before tapping his fingers against the steering wheel as he listened to the music that Seth had only recently put on. So far he had not looked to his side yet as he awaited for the light to change color. Upon actually looking though he saw what seemed to be a somewhat familiar face before coming upon a realization. It can't be...". Knowing that the lights would not turn green any time soon he quickly left his car running seeing as the street only had them to on before closing his door and walking over to her car with a smile on his face before tapping his fist on the window lightly but loud enough to get attention. Hopefully she would recognize him, and from what it seemed she still had that present from him that had been given to her the previous birthday.

When Seth had pulled up to the light Roxanne had been looking ahead, waiting for the Red lights to change to Green so that she could finally get to the hospital that her brother was staying at and even when he made his way out of his car and over to her's she was still looking ahead, tapping her fingers against the steering wheel to the beat of the music she was listening to. When she did hear tapping against the passenger side window, though, Roxy tore her eyes from the Red lights she had been waiting on and looked to the window. Needless to say, she was shocked to see Seth standing just outside her 2010 Chevy Camaro. She didn't hesitate, quickly moving one of her hands over to the button to roll down the window and pressing it. As it rolled down she kept her eyes on Seth, as if she were afraid he would disappear if she didn't. Once the window was finally down she spoke. "Hey," Roxanne began, flashing him one of her smiles that she knew Seth always loved seeing. If he wanted to climb into the car he was more than welcome, the door already unlocked.

It had slightly surprised him that he had managed to get all the way to the window of her Chevy Camaro before she had actually noticed him only because of knocking on the window but the look of surprise was well worth it. An expected smile flashing at him as her eyes stayed on him as the window went down. "Fancy seeing you here Roxanne.." he was still a little surprised still to actually see her here of which he was quite glad now that quite a bit of his break was left where as originally he was wondering what he was going to do being so bored. "Will you just give me a second.. I will quickly reverse park my car off the road and then come talk to you in yours if you do not mind." he smiled at her before then starting to walk away from her car and to his own plain 2007 model ford falcon that he would probably replace soon once he had saved up a bit more cash to spend on something more fancy. Quickly reverse parking it in a nearby spot he then walked back over to the passenger side of her car now before opening the door and hoping in and closing it. "What brings you here anyhow? It has been so long.."

What made Roxanne flash one of those smiles Seth loved to see so much was not just seeing him just outside of her car, but seeing the look of surprise on his face as he did. Roxy figured the surprised look upon his face was because she was in town, not because of how long it had taken her to notice him. "I was about to say the same thing." Roxy said, flashing Seth another smile. When he asked if she would give him a second to part his car Roxy replied with a nod, she didn't mind if they talked in her car. After all, the two of them surely had quite a bit of catching up to do. Roxanne watched him through the rolled down window as he made his way back over to his 2007 Ford Falcon and she continued to watch as he reverse parked it in a spot near by, not even taking her eyes off of him when he exited his car and made his way back to her's. "Yeah, it has been a really long time, since you and Jason headed up here for college." Roxy said in agreement. "Jason didn't tell you?" She asked, a bit shocked because for as long as she could remember Seth and Jason had told each other everything. For just as long Roxanne could remember having a crush on Seth and she could remember him feeling the same about her. Anybody who was around them could see that had feelings for each other, too. They just hadn't done anything to act upon them yet. "I came up to see Jason. He's in the hospital with a broken leg."

In truth although other people had noticed that Seth had feelings for Roxanne, and that she had feelings back he had never really noticed the feelings back. He just saw it as she was being friendly like always even though he could feel her watching him as he moved his car and coming back. It had been to long for the both of them since either had seen each other but Seth was happy to see her again, she had not changed a whole lot from what he remembered apart from becoming more attractive then he remembered and since she was quite something to begin with well maybe it was just the fact he had missed her, that she looked so great. "Jason did not tell me what?" he was surprised to hear that there was something that Jason had not told him and so he looked at her waiting for her to answer. "He is in the hospital.. that I am working at and he did not tell me.. that is just plain rude.." a light laugh escaped Seth before he smiled "Well at least out of his rudeness I still get to meet you here.. Roxanne"
