The slave shop rang out with the sound of a hard slap, as a poor unfortunate slave was punished. Her name was Luna and she’d grown accustomed to this treatment. She had been her for her entire life and each day showed her the true meaning of pain.
“Useless bitch” The overseer snarled standing over her.
She was thrown backward as a finely placed kick collided with her side knocking the wind from her. Her mind screamed at her to cry out or beg for his forgiveness, but she refused. It just wasn’t worth it if she begged he’d probably make her do something worse, and she was keeping the others from harm.
“DAMNIT…Why’d I even buy you from your parents’ master” He growled gripping her hair and yanking her up “You’d think a mute would be a good slave…but no.”
Tears slid from her eyes, he smacked her again, and she wondered if he’d kill her someday, if she’d actually be from this hell.
“No master wants you…not even the damn whorehouse’ll take your sorry ass,” He roared angrily as he flung her aside “If you weren’t…damnit who could that be.”
The bell signaling a new customer rang out which meant she’d get a nice reprieve. She flinched as the overseer roared for the slaves to line up. When he went to the counter one of the others helped her stand and line up as well.
