The last thing Luna saw before she went to bed the following night at 3:00am was the vaporwave screensaver on her computer looping endlessly. The most bizarre sighting was what can only be described as a giant yellow cyclops, which looked to be at least 40 feet tall, stomping around in the distance at the edge of the forest. None of this was making a lick of sense to Luna, who by this point had merely accepted that this was her fate, and that she was mere seconds away from an awful but instant death. And so, she shut her eyes, took a deep breath, and waited anxiously for...

Luna did not die. How didn't she die? It made absolutely no sense. She knew that she should've turned into a puddle of blood and disfigured flesh upon impact, but by all accounts she was without a scratch.
