Hey all!
I'm going to be honest, I'm used to posting on more conservative forums. So if I'm a bit awkward, it's simply because I'm not particularly used to being able to openly talk about what I'm looking for!

Yeah, some of these are weird and specific. Let me live my life. If something is red, then that is the role that I would prefer to play myself. If nothing is, I have no preference.
What do I want to write?
I'm hoping to sort of come up with something that serves both of us. I'm hesitant to throw up a list of buzzwords because people tend to just pick a couple things and run with them, but I'd like a little more creative freedom for us than a mix and match special haha.
I love dark romance, questionable morality, power play. I generally write slice of life scenarios, just slices of really fucked up or strange lives. I prefer modern settings and might add in some non-realistic aspects- some light sci-fi or fantasy, something like that. Non-human characters. That sort of thing. Once you read through this, just tell me the first idea or two that pops into your head and let's figure it out!

Personal Stats:
- 30 years old
- EST
- Don't care about my writing partner's gender.
- Will write characters of any gender.
- Hard pass on RL character references. Drawn/Anime or descriptions only.
- Usually a daily poster. Sometimes it's multiple daily, sometimes it'll be every 2-3 days. Life happens.
- My normal posts are 300 - 1000 words, though honestly I'd be delighted to find a couple more casual RPs and am not afraid of dipping below that if that's the vibe. Shorter the posts, quicker they'll come (obviously).
- I write in 3rd person by default but can be talked into 1st for the right storyline. When it comes to DM-style RP, I won't DM but might be willing to participate.
- Happy to play more than one character. Require partners at least willing to play side characters when they come up.
- Enthusiastic OOC chatter, would prefer if you were too.
- Writing Location: I'm mostly a Discord RPer, but I've decided to stop being a weenie and open up to threads and PMs.
- Might be talked into the right group role play as well, but it's been like a decade since I've done a forum-based RP so be nice to me haha.
