Mikhail was lounging in his chambers, laying back and relaxing... mostly just recovering from his twenty first birthday celebration the evening before. The prince's tall and slim body stretched out over his couch, his messy black hair obscuring his emerald colored eyes as he read a book of poetry he had been given.
It had been a rather tedious affair, full of people that he had grown tired of seeing years ago but was forced to tolerate because their own families had political power or money. Being a prince sucked if it meant that you had to hang out with such boring people. There were times that he just wished his parents would die or abdicate the throne so he would be able to avoid these idiots, maybe pass a law that would keep them from getting within a mile of him unless they wanted to be arrested.
He did feel guilty about thinking of getting rid of his parents that way but technically he was eligible to take the throne now that he had reached the proper age.
A knock at his door interrupted his thoughts and with a sigh he set aside his book, walking to the door and opening it. Immediately several servants pushed a very large box into the room, one of them hurriedly explaining that this was a special gifts from his parents, a special little surprise that had been caught just days ago.
As they left he opened the box and smirked a little bit at what he found, this was unexpected but had great potential.
