The basis for this idea revolves around two noble houses, who for years were at war but have come to a truce arrangement. The fathers agree to marry their children. YC will be the daughter. MC is the son who is close to them in age.
Neither of them wanted this arrangement, but both want lasting peace between their families. This peace is short lived, as an altercation leads to manslaughter at the after party, and both of us have to run away together.
We can lean heavy into fantasy or keep things grounded. I’m open to adding fantasy elements for fun sake. The general idea is our characters don’t really want to be married to each other at first but through trials and bonding they discover how much they need one another
