...the DJ's got us falling in love again..

Lights flashing and illuminating the darkness for a brief moment, the music beating and echoing throughout out the crowded rooms; can you deny the urge to move your hips? Mira couldn't. She had been frequenting this club for the past two months. Some nights, she had someone to dance up on, but most, like tonight, she was alone. She didn't care either way so long as she got to dance.Tonight, she was in the middle of the floor, eyes closed, her hips swaying from side to side with each beat. She reached up, pulling her hair tie out and ran her fingers through her silky auburn hair, letting it fall over her shoulders. With her pale skin, it was almost as though she glowed out on the dance floor as she moved.

As the song changed, her hips came to a slow stop. Looking up, her gray eyes lit up as the lights flashed. She looked around her pausing briefly here and there as though she were looking for someone. With a light sigh, she walked over, slipping into a seat at the bar. Getting a water, she took a swig. It wasn't long before she looked around the bar too, a disappointed expression following after. "Looking for him?" her friend's voice caused her to turn around and she gave a shrug. "I don't know what you're talking about, Mae." Mira lied with a sheepish grin. Her friend just laughed before being pulled away to the dance floor.

After a few moments, a familiar song rang through her ears. Slipping off of her stool, she was out on the floor again. She moved her hips to the beat, one hand tangled in her own hair slightly. It wasn't too long before a guy was right there next to her, a hand finding its way to her hip. She glanced up briefly before looking away and continuing to dance. No.. not him.. She pulled away with ease, feeling his fingertips graze against her skin before she disappeared back into the crowd. She had no desire to dance with anyone else but him.

Even though Jameson didn’t go to Club 101 every night of the week, he still showed up there on a frequent enough basis to be considered a regular. He had been friends with the owner of the club since they went to high school together, and like all of his close friends, Jameson was considered a V.I.P at the club. He didn’t flaunt this fact regularly, and really the only people that knew his status was the staff. Jameson was always able to get in, no matter how packed it was. The door cover charge was always waived, and he had a great discount on drinks. One of the other bonus’s was access to some of the private rooms in the back of the club, which he used on occasion for a one night stand here and there.

For a while now, he had noticed a girl at the club. She usually came alone, and seemed to prefer dancing by herself. Anytime Jameson tried to find her, she would just vanish into the crowd. It had happened on so many occasions, sometimes he wondered if she was just a figment of his imagination, or even a ghost. Her dancing was always very sensual, and the few times he had seen her dance with another guy, Jameson couldn’t help to be a little jealous. He wanted to dance with her, just even one time. Jameson had asked around about her, but no one seemed to know who she was, or even know her name, only adding to the mystery. Each time he saw her, he wanted her more and more. The few times a perfect opportunity had arose, he had already had a partner for the night, only dashing his hopes of ever being with her. On occasion, he had caught her looking at him, but as soon as he noticed, she always looked away, vanishing back into the dance floor. He had been sitting at the bar, talking and flirting with a few girls, enjoying several mixed drinks. Jameson was slightly above average in height, with a nicely toned body. His hair was jet black, with plenty of bright red highlights mixed into the lengths. Clothes were what he usually wore to the club; an untucked, but buttoned up black shirt, with a white undershirt hidden beneath. Black jeans and matching shoes to match, everything very simple. Between songs, he had just happened to turn his head, noticing the girl out of the corner of his eye, leaving the bar, heading back out onto the dance floor. This time, he was not going to loose her, he wanted her… needed to dance with her. Pounding the last of his drink, he followed her this time, keeping track of her closely, not wanting to loose her this time, for another missed opportunity.

Jameson’s hopes were nearly dashed when he saw another man approach her, his hand moving against her hip, before she moved away, signaling she wanted to be alone. Determined though, he made his way to the mystery girl, standing in front of her just as one her hands stroked through her hair again. Jameson shot her a friendly smirk, starting to dance in front of her with the loud, techno beats, slowly making his way closer and closer to her. Already he could smell the exotic scent of whatever perfume she happened to have on, Jameson’s budding desire for her building up. “Care to dance?” he asked with a playful smile, resisting his urge to just grab her hips, and pull her close. For whatever reason, he didn’t feel like getting slapped tonight.

The words sent a chill down her spine, a smirk making its way across her lips as she looked up at the man. No words were said as she just merely moved in close, continuing to dance. Her fingers running through her hair again, she reached out; her fingertips lightly brushing against his cheek as she pulled away with a gentle laugh, moving deeper into the crowd. She, however, paused, looking over her shoulder at him with another smirk. She knew he'd follow; she knew he had been watching her for quite some time now. Something about him intrigued her. She had never spoken with him, and this was the first time they had even danced. Yet still, something drew her in about him. Most nights when she had wanted to dance, he was already there with some girl; so the next week, she'd play hard to get, disappearing within the crowd as soon as he'd get close in spite.

But not tonight. Tonight, she wanted to dance with him; to see what he was all about. She started to move her hips again, dancing to the music as she looked back at him; her fingertips gliding along the skin of her hips. She then closed her eyes, her back to him as she danced.
