The Delta Delta Delta, or Tri-Delt, Sorority is one of the most prestigious sororities in the country. Nearly 150 years old and boasting almost 20,000 members, it's the natural choice for any young woman looking for community and sisterhood in her life. Of course, they also often host killer parties and most people seem to be under the impression they're all sluts, for some reason.
Granted, their mission IS to encourage their members to live a life of purpose through service of others. And their motto translates roughly to "Let us steadfastly love one another…"
At our school, the DDD Chapter President, Erin, is a bright and charismatic young woman with a little extra "love" to give. She loves all of her sisters steadfastly, and often, always helping them better understand what it means to live to serve others. She greets all the pledges personally and has totally revised the barbaric hazing practices of years gone by. She truly stands as a model for the values of the sorority and is always available to her sisters in their times of need, and she expects the same from them in return.
