I'm going to eschew the literary pyrotechnics this time and get to the point.​

I'm looking to start up a roleplay or two with some lovely people. I bring to the table a love for fleshed out characters and ample details, as well as some solid writing. I am not perfect, and I don't expect perfection, just effort for the characters and story we're building.

I'm super easy to get along with. If you need to take extra time or drop for any reason, I won't give you grief about it. I respect personal boundaries as a default, especially so if you come to me with some particular do-nots.

Random aside, I love to bake. If I could somehow send baked goods to my rp partners, believe me that I would. Barring that possibility, I'll share pictures and recipes instead.

I'm down for writing male and female roles. This request is on the male side, but you can always toss me an idea that has me writing femme instead. I also have no problem taking on multiple characters; though if we're talking main characters, I would probably limit myself to two.

Post length varies, but I typically write 3+ meaty paragraphs. I hope to get in a couple posts a week. Most likely I'll be available on weekends during the day (EST).

Dive Bar of Destiny

Synopsis

On the outskirts of a city lies a drinking hole that treats"run-down" as an aesthetic. It's never full of more than a half dozen regulars at a time, and most assuredly hasn't seen a new face enter in over a decade. A small clan of werewolves use it as their meeting spot, though only one is currently present when the unexpected occurs. The door to the outside swings open and two women, beautiful, elegantly dressed and extremely out of place, walk in. They're both human, but the male escorts that walk in behind them, though of human appearance, are not. They are what you might call upscale werewolves. They hail from another clan that marks it's territory in the city proper, and their grooming shows it.

It's immediately obvious that the women aren't aware of their companions' beastly nature. Less so do they expect the grisly end that they're being led to in their "visit" to the country.

The local wolf watches them closely. Their presence in this bar is an insult, though not one worth spilling blood over. He ought to leave them to their spoils. To do anything else would risk a war between their clans. What does he care for a pair of foolish humans? Perhaps had he not let his eyes linger on one of them, let the spark of desire light within him, he wouldn't have gotten involved.

A Bloodsucker's Guide to the 20th Century

Synopsis

The townspeople had succeeded in cornering him. They rooted out All of his safehouses, exposing them to daylight and forcing him further into hiding. At their hands, he suffered wounds that tested his immortality, and at the same time his feeding opportunities were completely cut off by the surprisingly vigilant locals. All this over a couple dozen consumed daughters and wives. His last refuge proved to be an underground crypt that was halfway collapsed and lost to time. There he retired to a stone coffin with skeletal roommate. Too weak to even rise at the next nightfall, he descended into a coma-like dormancy.

A century passed, and the small seas-side town has grown into a trendy tourist destination with some unique local legends. His sleep is interrupted when a young woman and her bf/date discover the hidden crypt. The young man, looking to flaunt his fearlessness, pries open the tomb and presents a warm blooded meal that stirs the demonic beating from its dormancy. Every last ounce of his life force is hastily drained, leaving behind a newly invigorated vampire and a properly terrified young woman.

Perhaps she'll show him around town.
