Anyways, hello! I'm Comperi, and forgive me if I just copy and paste part of what I put in my introduction message.
I've been roleplaying for maybe 6-7 years by now but only forum roleplays for the past 2-3 years. I usually like to think myself as a pretty good writer, my prose isn't enough to make Nabokov weep or anything like that but I'd like to think that it gets the job done. I usually mirror my writer but usually it's around 500-600 words, but I have gone as low as one liners (usually because it's more fast-paced and on Discord or something similar, and I don't really want to do that here) or up to 2000, if the plot is complicated enough and the characters are interesting enough.
I use she/her pronouns, and I usually play female roles, but I have dabbled in male roles as well (though I don't prefer them and I'm not great at them either).
I think I should probably put down some ground rules, too!
Now then! I'm sure the things people want, the plot ideas!
I'm going to split these up into two, though for now only one of them will be filled. Anything marked with an asterisk is something I'm craving!

- I only RP here, but both through threads or through PMs. Please don't ask me for my Discord or anything like that.
- Feel free to send me stuff about your day! I like making friends.
- The fastest way to reach out to me will be through PMs! I might check the comments here once in a while but PMing me will be the fastest.

Outright, these will be more romance focused and focus on the characters and their growth than any smut. I'd love smut to be added of course, but I don't want it to be the primary reason.
There is literally nothing else here. I just want childhood friends. F/M, F/F, I don't really care, I just want to see childhood friends get together and explore this new aspect of a relationship they've had for years. that's all. I am craving this badly.
The kingdom is large and prosperous. The standard of living is high, the subjects are happy and healthy, and the royal family is friendly, approachable, and well-liked.
YC is tasked to be the bodyguard for the princess. No one is sure this role is needed; after all, the kingdom is at peace. Surely YC is just there for decorative purposes, right...?

A cookie to anyone who gets the reference (which is probably a lot of you)! YC and MC are rivals of some sort: academic, athletic, musical, what have you. They hate each other, they say, but they also have a deep and begrudging respect for each other... what happens when that respect grows? What happens when the characters are forced into intimacy?
