  To whoever comes across this thread to take a peek; Hi, hello, and welcome to my little corner of BMR! My name is Tenzai, the aesthetic loving digital construct who's dabbling in making memories through fiction!
  
  I'm a married, story-driven writer in his late twenties with a penchant for seeing my flawed characters fight for their happy endings through shitty circumstances!

  Now what would you come to expect from writing a story with me?
  
  ✦ Writing Length - I typically write multi-paragraph responses that could expand into novella territory depending on how inspired I feel with writing in the moment!
  
  ✦ My average is usually between 900 to 1.5k words, but I aim to match the length of my writing partner.​
  
  ✦ Posting Frequency - My response rate may vary depending on the amount of free time I have at the moment, but at minimum, I could post once a week.
  
  ✦ On average however, I could post multiple times, but should something occur where I need to ask for patience or I can't write at the same lengths as usual, I'll be sure to let you know.​
  
  ✦ Ghosting Policy - Don't feel too pressured to post anymore than you can. Just because I respond back fast doesn't mean I require you to do the same! We're both here to have a good time, and should life happen where the story isn't sustainable, don't worry about it! Just means I have more time to spend elsewhere too! Life always comes first and at the end of the day, this is a hobby. Least we could do is aim to have a great time building something special together with the limited time we have!
  
  ✦ Multiple Characters - I usually shotgun blast my writing partners with a starting cast featuring multiple main characters! So, expect to see my mains interacting with each other, side characters, and NPCs throughout the story! Whatever actions that happen to one character would have a ripple effect across other characters and their environment too!
  
  ✦ Plot & Smut Ratio - I don't have a particular ratio in mind, but I do have a strong preference for story over smut. To me, the plot is the meat of the story and the sex is the spice that gives a relationship a special kick!
  
  ✦ Flexibility - I'm extremely flexible on plot ideas. Say you feel like you want to add an additional layer on top of a story, character, location, or arc, be my guest! I love it when my writing partners get creative, even while the story is ongoing! Don't think the worldbuilding would end only at the plotting step!
  
  ✦ OOC - I'm very open to OOC. In fact, I even welcome it! If you have any preferences you'd like to include after the story starts or if you don't feel comfortable with something, please let me know. I'd like to build a place where you could feel comfortable with sharing your thoughts and ideas openly! Maybe even dork out over our characters and their little wins too! We don't need to be best friends, but an open line of communication would be nice! Though if we're in it for the long term, I'd like to be your friend as well if I could help it!
  
  ✦ Faceclaims - I prefer drawn-images only. Real-life pictures of people are kind of a no-go for me, simply because I don't like the idea of using real people for characters, especially in an ERP setting.
  
  ✦ Creativity - Something I love doing for my writing partners is experimenting with new ideas, whether that be in character or post structure. Experimenting was a huge part of my growth in writing and IRL, so you might see me trying out new things here and there to see whether it lands!
• Story Preferences​
  
  ✦ Preferred Settings - My favorite settings to write in is high fantasy mixed with sci-fi, but I also enjoy blending it with modern, isekai/otome, cyberpunk, and post-apocalyptic too! Medieval/historical for me is a bit of a tougher sell, but I'm willing to listen if the premise is interesting enough!
  
  ✦ Preferred Tempo - As for the intensity/tempo of the roleplay; A good blend of uptime (action/drama scenes) and downtime (quiet moments for character growth and bonding) is more than enough for me! Too much of one or the other can be a little bland, but I'll be sure to let you know if I'd like to time skip/fast forward a certain scene should I feel like its dragging a little long!
  
  ✦ Preferred Length - I usually prefer long-term, story driven plots where growth and character development happens over arcs. For me, its the hardest fought stories that bring about the happiest endings! Whether that be internal demons like trauma or anxiety, or an enemy that prevents them from living the life they always wanted to, I aim to explore a character's development through and through! Triply so if its with other characters in a cast too!
  
  ✦ Fandoms or Originals? - Apologies for all my fandom lovers out there, but I only do original plots and settings! Inspirations are always welcome should an idea or premise from an already established stories sound interesting to bring in, but I struggle to write in worlds that aren't our own.
  
  
  Partner/Character Preferences​
  *Disclaimer. Don't take this as a must have checklist. Its really just what I've found with my favorite writing partners who made me so passionate as a writer!
  
  ✦ Great OOC! - Above everything else, I find myself looking the most forward to writing stories with writing partners that I have wonderful OOC with! After spending over a year on this site, I learned that great OOC could turn a good story into a great one, and a great story into an iconic one!
  
  ✦ Inclusion of Music, Images, and Gifs - Some say that a picture is worth a thousand words, and I'm one of them! It helps with building a quick glimpse as to what someone has in mind with a location/facial expression/event/etc. Music on the other hand is a perfect way of setting the mood! Double points if the lyrics are relevant to the situation on hand too!
  
  ✦ Patience - I've been burnt out of RPs before because I was pushed to write even when I wasn't able to create. Life happens sometimes, and I hope that while I respect your time, given this is a hobby and there are no deadlines, that you can also respect mine too.
  
  ✦ Excitement/Passion - There is nothing like seeing the reaction of my writing partner's when it comes to creating! It genuinely excites me seeing my lines conjure emotions in the hearts of those that write with me! Both giving and being recipient of that energy is one of the joys of roleplaying and I hope its something I could find in others too!
  
  ✦ Effort - Great effort does not go unnoticed! As someone who often messes around with BBCode, image, and video editing, seeing other people experiment/do their best often inspires me to do the same! To those who put effort into standing out in their opening message, whether that be showing a bit of personality or your BBCode prowess, be sure to know that it will be appreciated ^^
  
  ✦ Unordinary Characters in Mundane Conflicts - Why can't an angel bitch about paying taxes? Can't a demon complain about their commute? I find this story element both entertaining and potentially meaningful! It bridges the gap between vastly different characters if they both deal with the same ordinary day-to-day issues.
  
  ✦ Character Humor - Sometimes, my characters might verbalize a joke to lighten up a dark situation or soften a mood. Other times, they might say something unintentionally funny while angry or drunk. Expect to see some of this from me too!
  
  ✦ Characters with a bit of Snark - On the other end of the spectrum, my characters might not always have a particularly fond opinion of yours or each other. They might bitch about each other often or just complain about their general situation. I love writing characters that can be rude on the surface, yet be so caring underneath!
  
  ✦ Character Intimacy - I think what I find most interesting to write isn't the action scenes, the spicy sex, nor the angst that surround failures and bad decisions. It's about what happens during their downtime. I love indulging in the aftercare and the calm in between scenes.
• Plots
  Trapped in My Favorite World As A Mob​
  YC, a gamer who usually only plays by herself or with her best friend, plays her favorite VR MMORPG game only to end up falling asleep inside and waking up without a way to logout. As she reaches to remove her helmet, she finds none there, though oddly enough, the world feels more real. She could feel the very environment around her a lot more than her helmet would have once simulated.
  
  Interestingly, other players are still out and about, and while asking them for help, they treat her as an NPC or worse, a mob. Upon being slain by players for her first time, she reawakens back where she fell asleep in the first place. Will YC be able to escape her fate, discovering the truth? Would she settle down and make a life of her own? Or would she break before she rediscovers a new life here in the virtual world? That's up to YC to decide.
  
  
  Reincarnated into a Dating Sim?​
  YC, an otome enthusiast and someone who lived a dreadful life in the past, had ended up passing away due to a freak accident only to find out, the Goddess of the Afterlife had accidentally made her life a lot worse than she should've. As compensation to avoid looking bad in front of the other kami, she offers a choice to throw YC into another world where she could relive her existence her way in a show of grace.
  
  This world that she offers is a world far in the future made of the culmination of every dating sim in YC's favorite otome game series. Every beloved character she knew before exists in this very realm, each as real as she is. Would YC be able to find her happy ending in this new life? Or will she succumb to a bad end again?
  
  
  Indebted to You​
  YC is someone who ended up enslaved/grossly indebted to an unkind master that sees them for less than a living being. However, upon serving their debt as a tool, they end up finding someone else who is also serving their contract and they end up getting along. Cue the two girls scheming up a way to earn their freedom while gaining revenge on the certain someone that owns both of them, only to end up finding out that they share a lot more in common than they could ever imagine. Would love blossom from a shared enemy? Or would they become subject to a bad ending due to their inability to see each other above their differences?
  
  
  My Villainess Can't Be This Cute​
  YC is either a betrayed heroine who ends up being forced to fight alongside their villainess, a pawn who ends up adopted by the villainess after losing their home, or a rival that has been captured by their enemy. Whoever they may be, they end up spending time with MC only to find out that, beyond the reputation she amassed while playing the role of villainess, she actually is much kinder/sweeter than who their past allegiances had them believe. Will they be able to find a new life together? Or will their initial distance push them too far beyond romance?
