Do you consider yourself more of a "roleplayer" or more of a writer?

I'm mostly making this post to get my third post. But, I am curious-- there's no secret that the roleplay community is pretty highly sexual (to some degree) and intersects with fetish communities in a lot of ways. There's a pretty vast spectrum of what people expect out of roleplay-- a lot go for the sexual gratification, some go for the story or the art, and I'm just curious about how those two things interact for you all. Do you find yourself interested in writing on your own outside of a roleplay scenario, or do you need another person? How necessary is sex in a plot for you to be invested? If you do writing on your own outside of roleplay, is there a difference in the volume of sexuality or its content?

From that thread (it's older, sure, but got a new burst of life a little while back), I guess I'm more of a writer than a roleplayer...although I do roleplay within my writing.

Roleplaying is largely the creation and development of a character and then determining how that character will respond to stimuli.

Writing is roleplaying, but also the creation of the stimuli the character will respond to.

If that makes sense.
