Hello! I am looking for partners for Lion King RPs - I am primarily looking for someone willing to RP as Simba to explore his father-daughter relationship with Kiara from the sequel- we can RP a number of ‘What If’ style AUs, or perhaps a follow-up of sorts to the second film where Kovu and Kiara are expecting cubs and another villain shows up, etc. I am still expecting some mature themes, discussion of death/gore as is the nature of animals such as Lions and other creatures in the savannah. There could still be mentions of pregnancy/breeding etc in the life cycle of a lioness, but probably not the act of breeding itself being described.
Some AU ideas could be ‘What if Zira kidnapped and raised Kiara in the Outlands’ or I’m all for the general drama of kidnapping subplots - a super dark idea would follow-up on ‘What if Kira died along with Zira during the battle between the Pridelanders and the Outlanders?’ and may focus more on Simba and Nala & the Pride grieving, etc. Or maybe Kiara is a ghost, as there are spiritual themes in the Lion King verse. I’m up for anything. I’m picky at the idea of introducing humans, or hunters into the mix, but I could hash that out possibly.
I am also up for introducing either of Simba’s son, Kopa/Kion (ik the canon gets confusing too, which is what we can world-build together).
I typically write multiple paragraphs or at least a paragraph in the Third-POV - I don’t do one-liners typically. I also tend to RP in DMs and also Discord, I am also tentatively opening up to a Public Forum 1x1 RP. Lastly, I love to brainstorm and share ideas with my writing partner, let’s come up with something together!
