I will start off by saying that this thread is ESSENTIALLY a carbon copy of my previous thread (where I was looking for RP partners on Discord) however I want to make it clear right off the bat here that this is searching for partners to play with via PMs on-site. I'm still open to moving to Discord if that's a preference, but this thread is for spreading the net a little wider and searching for those who would prefer to stay on-site! ANYWAY, onto the thread!
So I've had this thread on BMR for well over 5 years at this point and that alone should give you an impression of how long I've been RPing. It also didn't change much during that time so I've made a relatively recent effort to overhaul it slightly. I first stumbled onto ERP on the sister site of BMR Elliquiy back when I was like 19 and have inconsistently RPed to some degree ever since then (giving me now something like 10+ years of experience with it). Just as a tiny bit of information about me personally: I'm from Scotland and I work in the sciences (in research). I like board games, video games, films, anime... Y'know, nerd shit? Beyond that I somewhat keep my real life separate from RP, but if I am comfortable with my RP partners am always happy to chat a bit about lives and interests. Let's talk about our favourite video games?
On top of that of course I am a fan of extremely kinky and smutty RPs, with a preference for those RPs which lean more towards the sexy side of things than the plot. But I'm always open to a mix of both and don't have many hard and fast rules regarding ratios and the like.
With that in mind, I do still have a pretty clear idea of what I want from an RP. Like every other person on BMR I will therefore start this thread with a few sections giving my "rules and requirements" for what I want from an RP to try and give you a clear idea of what I'm after. I'll follow that by a pretty thorough kink list, I do also have an F-list linked in my signature but I quite like written kink-lists too, and then a brief section on a bit more of the specifics of what I'd be looking to RP. I have said in the past that I'm very easy-going about these things, and this remains true to a degree, but it has happened that I've had people message me after "reading" my thread who then proceed to ask me to do things which I make it ABUNDANTLY clear I'm not really into on this page.
So, to try and be as clear about this as possible: I'm relaxed enough with RPing that I won't bite your head off if you don't remember every single tiny detail about what I like, and I understand that this is quite a lot to read, but I really would appreciate it if you actually read this and understood what it is I'm asking for first!

I do not often have cravings for specific scenes, but rather for themes, broad concepts, characters, ideas, settings and so-on. But if I ever have a PARTICULAR scene craving I will post it here.
Themes and prompts
One of my bad habits as an RPer is that I struggle to pick out definitive scenes/plots that I really want to play out. Part of this is due to my preference for smut-heavy plots, so the plot can be more of a framework for the sexy things. However, I figured I might try and set out some of the basic themes/prompts that I absolutely love RPing. These won't focus on any characters specifically, but rather will be sort of broad fantasies that could slot into a number of different settings and pairings. The main idea being that this section will sort of represent the stuff that I just love playing and to give an impression of what I enjoy in sexual scenes. These are not in-depth ideas and are not to be taken as a demonstration of serious plot suggestions. They are deliberately left vague and with only a few details so that it's possible to pick up the broader fantasy and slot it into any number of pairings/settings.

Style requirements/rules
For each section here I will try and keep it concise. In each bullet-point I will give a soundbite of what I want, followed by a slightly more in-depth explanation.
- Preference for longer-term RPs: I am open to any sort of mix of lengths of RPs from one-shots to long-term games. However, due to the way I like the play, I think my preference lies in long term "episodic" RPs. Where we will come back to the same story and characters but jumping in and out of different scenes within it to our heart's content. I don't mind jumping back and forth between a few different interests, but if we aren't sticking with one particular set of characters long enough for anything to happen I will lose patience.
- PM RPs: I've said elsewhere that I enjoy off-site IM RPs, but just to keep within the rules, I'll say again that this thread is for searching for PM-based RPs. For no real reason that I can actually come up with, I'm not really that keen on writing on the forums these days.
- A note on my dislike fandoms: I am a bit of a geek (read: massive geek) and am thus a huge fan of a large number of video game/book/movie settings. However, as time has went on I have discovered that I will 9/10 times not really enjoy playing most canon settings due to my reservations with actually breaking canon. With that in mind as well I will never play a canon character and will always play an OC (I've hemmed and hawed around this before, but by now I know that this is something I simply do not enjoy and cannot get into).
- In GMT timezone: I tend to be around fairly regularly actually (on IMs particular I am very easy to reach). I'm often at a computer at work as well and so keep a sneaky tab open.
- Searching for partners not games: Along with the above statements I'm primarily looking for partners rather than games. I don't often have specific cravings and like to just go with the flow and play whatever catches mine/my partner's fancy.
- Semi-regular posting schedule: I tend to prefer relatively regular posts. This means, if we are not doing a back-and-forth RP (which I am also into) then I would still hope to have at least one or two posts a week. With the obvious exceptions of when IRL demands that either of us cannot do this
- 1-2 paragraph sweet spot for posts: I consider myself to be very literate but these days do not really have the time for the sort of RPs with massively lengthy posts in the 1000s of words. I'm fairly reactive on this score, if I'm excited enough I can write an awful lot in response to partners but equally I am perfectly happy to drop down to a couple of lines per response so we can get some quick back-and-forth.
- Preference for 1st person (but not a requirement): I personally am a fan and advocate of using a first person perspective, but I am open and usually happy to use third as well.
- Any kind of setting: I'm pretty open when it comes to plots and settings, and am happy to play many kinds of characters.
- Make an effort with spelling and grammar: I'm an easy-going guy, I'm aware English isn't everyone's first language and I won't bite your head off over misplaced there/their/they'res. However, if I'm getting the impression that there's zero effort being made, it will seriously put me off. This can be anything from repeated and constant mistakes, text language or even as simple as not using capitals and full stops. Who knew that sentence structure could be sexy?
- Give and take in posts: I'll apologise in advance because this next bit is going to be a bit ranty and a bit preachy... You have been warned:
Lately I've been thinking a bit about what makes a good reply/post in an RP, a thought process which was sort of set off after a couple of relatively negative experiences. I'm sure we've all had our share of nightmare partners and my one was a partner who responded to literally every post of mine with "MMMmmmm". Didn't matter if my post was one sentence or one paragraph, it seemed I was supposed to be a dumb male and just enjoy the idea of a woman moaning... Following that I wanted to try and demonstrate an example of the level of interaction I am looking for in my RPs. I realise that the mere presence of this section might suggest I expect a lot, but if you hear me out, I don't think that is the case. Because, as you'll see, I don't think post length is a good indicator of quality.
Essentially I think a good RP post does two things: first it reacts to what happens in your partners post (it takes from your partner) and then it moves the scene/story forward with some new things for your partner to react to (giving back). That's why I, oh-so-intelligently, titled this "give and take".
As an example imagine I write a post which details my character rolling your character onto her back and leaning over her to kiss her and penetrate her. Here are some replies:

This reply is bad. It goes without saying. But why is it bad? Firstly, it doesn't even use a full stop or a capital. See what I mean about sentence structure? However, the real culprit of why this reply is bad is two-fold: A. it adds absolutely nothing to the scene. It doesn't demonstrate any emotion, or reason/thought-process behind her actions. And B. it's painfully generic. I realise sometimes your character doesn't have much agency (for example when tied up), but this reply could literally appear at any point during a sex scene and still do the exact same thing.

Now, finally she had escaped him and was free to start a new chapter in her life, free to actually enjoy herself, to experience new things, to meet new people and actually live her best life. With this memory in mind, she smiled up at the man fucking her.

This reply is ALSO bad. Now, I hope you will agree that the writing here is actually much better (I was somewhat pulling out the stops for that paragraph so I sincerely HOPE you'll agree)... But it is still not a good RP response. Why? Well, essentially it actually says the exact same thing that reply one does. The only other bit it adds is a lot of waffle which actually has zero bearing on the current scene and so it's not something that an RP partner can respond to. This sort of thing is fine in a novel, but in an RP where I now have to respond to this, all I have to go on is "she moaned and smiled". The rest is pointless and might as well have been a paragraph copied from Wikipedia about the Crimean War.

In essence, she isn't just lying there getting fucked like a limp fish...
Now, I did warn you that this section was preachy, but I should emphasise that you don't worry TOO much. I'm actually much more laid back about post quality than this might make me seem and will most of the time be happy with however you want to write your posts. All of this is mostly to emphasise the point that I appreciate effort in replies to me, and will respond in kind when I see it!

- Ideally a decent level of OOC chatter and discussion: I have stated before that I do not need OOC discussion when I play, but lately I've been discovering that without it, games get stale a lot quicker. It is simply inherently MUCH better if we can communicate well and regularly so we're on the same page about things. If you want to flirt as well, then have at it!
- KNOW WHAT YOU WANT: So, I cannot emphasise this point enough. It is frustrating as hell when I send a couple of paragraphs talking about ideas/kinks and get a reply of something like "okay". Please for the Love of the Omnissiah, do NOT make me drag everything out of you and have to literally ask you about every specific thing if I want to know it. I know it will try your patience having me pester you, and it sure as hell tries mine when I have to repeat myself until I'm hoarse.
- NOT "ditch friendly": I feel like this almost ought to go without saying, but if you are not enjoying an RP, if something is not working, if you want less or more of something: SAY SO. If you want to end an RP (even before we start) please also tell me, purely for my own sanity so I am not left wondering if we are still going to play. I promise I am a big boy and can handle being told "no". I am becoming increasingly frustrated with setting up a fun-sounding RP with a partner with whom I seem to be getting on well with only for them to then vanish... Or worse, for them to be apparently active but no longer replying. When this happens I will usually endeavour to reach out after about a week or so to figure out if you are still interested, but beyond this all I can ask in advance is that you please do consider just letting me know ahead of time whether you will either not be replying for a period or whether you would like to simply drop the RP so that you do not waste my time or brain power.
- Don't waste my time pretty please?: I realise this is pointless to put in here because these sorts of people will do this anyway... But another new pet-peeve on RP sites are people who come at you with all kinds of fun RP ideas and will then proceed to drag out OOC interactions. Followed by losing interest in that idea and making another suggestion and another and another. I'm pretty chill and forgiving so I have a bad habit of letting myself be strung along here for far too long before finally realising that the other party isn't really interested in RPing and AT BEST only enjoys the set-up of RPs and not the actual pay-off. Don't be that person...
- Generally light tone: I broadly like VERY taboo and rough sexual kinks (see below) but at the same time do not like playing around with extremely dark and disturbing stuff, so while I do enjoy playing out rape/non-con, I vastly prefer it to be of the pseudo-rape variety where the girl ends up enjoying it. Essentially I am here to have fun, not explore the darkest limits of the human soul...
- Dom male against sub female: I only ever play males and am only happy playing against girls playing girls (sorry to not be very inclusive). Most of my kinks are on the dom side of the spectrum too.
- Humanoid characters only: Along with the above I will only ever play as a humanoid and vastly prefer just straight boring humans (I often quite enjoy playing as a shameless self-insert) but am happy to make more fantasy/sci-fi based characters for the right games (orcs are a favourite, for example). This does mean an emphasis on NO monsters/tentacles and so-on.
- High ratio of smut to plot: Just to make it clear, I AM looking primarily for my games to be smutty and sexy. Build up and setting the scene is usually necessary, but I don't need much more than that. For me this is supposed to be lighthearted and fun, as soon as the game starts feeling like "work" then I'll try and shift the focus. To clarify though: I don't want to close the door on story-based games completely if that's your hang-up here. For anything more plot-based all I ask is that we figure out something that we can both enjoy and with a decent balance of plot and smut!
Kinks
As always, none of these are requirements! Merely a guide on what gets me going.

- Impregnation/breeding/risk of pregnancy - To be clear, I'm not a big fan of playing out an actual pregnancy. For me the fun and sexy aspect lies almost entirely in the act of impregnation (or the possibility/intention of it)
- Name-calling
- Cheating aspects (see soft limits)
- Dub-con to full on rape - my personal preference is for pseudo-rape where the girl ends up loving it, but I'm flexible on this

- Cervical penetration - assuming we allow unrealistic kinks like this
- Violence - using a slut to work out frustration in ways other than just sex (after some uncertainty with this one allow me to clarify: this will ALWAYS be performed in a sexual or near-sexual context, it will also NEVER result in bones breaking/punching/kicking or any extreme violence - only slaps and bruises at most!)
- Harems - never something I'll request as I personally struggle with playing multiple characters, but I will jump at the chance to play some kind of harem RP.
- Light inflation and stomach bulging - usually with excessive cum to the point of swelling up sliiightly, but not to the point of expanding like a balloon
- Forced orgasms - As should be clear, I'm a big fan of force and non-con. But I love the psuedo-rape variety with the girl's body betraying her, having the biggest orgasms of her life as she is forced
- Dirty talk - I am huge fan of this, telling MC how big his cock is, how good it feels (or how much it hurts depending on the scene), how much better he is, what he's doing to her... It's all good stuff!
- "Rape" - Bit of a weird one here. I feel like one has to be a bit cautious with use of terminology. Even in roleplay, there is very much a difference between CNC scenes and pseudo-rape and the like. I am also aware that the word "rape" itself has enough negative connotations that people do not like it to be used in roleplay (even in very non-consensual scenes). For me, I actually find the taboo nature of the word itself slightly hot so using it in an RP setting (I.e. one character begging another to "rape her") is just quite hot.
Soft Limits - Kinks and limits which warrant further discussion/information
- Cuckolding - I enjoy games where cheating is part of the taboo aspect of it: E.g. "the husband never pays the woman any attention and so my character has his way with her". I DISLIKE it when it moves into humiliation territory, with the husband being forced to watch everything that goes on
- Non-human cocks - As should be clear from my limits, I am very much against bestiality and monsters, however, I have gotten some enjoyment from playing a standard human who (through magical/sci-fi means) has a ridiculous non-human cock. This ties in with my enjoyment of cervical penetration in that in this context I can also enjoy things like knotting.
- Age play - I'm not against playing games where characters have an age gap between them, however in general I vastly prefer to play a character in his late twenties/early thirties (with some flexibility). However, most of the time when I hear age-play I get the impression it means playing young female characters against male characters over the age of 40 (or even much higher), which is a no-go for me.
- Incest - As a kink/taboo it doesn't really do that much for me specifically, but I'm not against it. However, I tend to prefer situations of "near" incest to true incest. So step-father x daughter over father x daughter. And I can never really get into mother x son.
- Squirting - A weird one for me. I love games in which my character is basically a sex god who can fuck a woman to the best screaming orgasm of her life. However, in reality squirting is really just pee and I can't mentally separate that fact from fantasy. So in terms of text RP I don't mind if a girl squirts but I will actually sort of ignore it in favour of keeping up my own enjoyment of the scene. This is however NOT a hard limit in the same way as other bodily excretions are.
- Lactation - A similar attitude towards this as squirting, so if it's mentioned in RP I will most likely just try to ignore it rather than engage with it.
- Extreme bondage - This should be discussed on a kink-by-kink basis but I am not a fan of extreme bondage and restraints. Latex, gimp suits, total immobilisation and things like that don't really do it for me.
- Characters not reacting to pain - This is a slightly weird one, but something that has come up enough times for me to now mention it. As I say above I am very into pseudo non-consensual scenes with the female character initially resisting and eventually getting into her own "rape" (regardless of how unrealistic this is). I am ALSO into full on non-con with characters resisting and fighting the entire time with a new caveat. If your character is fighting and being snarky, and she then get's a slap/choked/her hair yanked, it really throws me out of the scene if the girl then continues to snark away. Rather than actually responding to the pain like a human would: I.e. being in pain. In short: if we include pain in an RP, have your character actually respond to it?
Hard Limits - No. It's a no and will ALWAYS be a no.
- Dd/lg infantilisation - I am a big fan of being called "Daddy" (see above) and I do really enjoy some further aspects of Dd/lg. However, there are some aspects of it that I absolutely despise. In particular I hate anything involving infantilisation. Calling the girl you're fucking your little girl? That's hot as hell... Having her then suck her thumb and act like she's a toddler... That is a huge turn-off and really skeeves me out.
- Snuff/gore/etc
- Furries - Anthro features such as ear/tails are within acceptable boundaries however.
- Bodily fluids (beyond sweat/saliva/cum) e.g. vomit/watersports/scat/blood

One of my bad habits as an RPer is that I struggle to pick out definitive scenes/plots that I really want to play out. Part of this is due to my preference for smut-heavy plots, so the plot can be more of a framework for the sexy things. However, I figured I might try and set out some of the basic themes/prompts that I absolutely love RPing. These won't focus on any characters specifically, but rather will be sort of broad fantasies that could slot into a number of different settings and pairings. The main idea being that this section will sort of represent the stuff that I just love playing and to give an impression of what I enjoy in sexual scenes. These are not in-depth ideas and are not to be taken as a demonstration of serious plot suggestions. They are deliberately left vague and with only a few details so that it's possible to pick up the broader fantasy and slot it into any number of pairings/settings.
An absolute favourite fantasy of mine as I am really into pseudo-rape scenes. Your girl is in a vulnerable situation (this can be anything from contemporary and cliche like a girl walking home at night, to something like a Princess isolated in a fantasy castle following invasion) and my character takes advantage. I have in recent weeks been craving games involving accidental or forced impregnation. This can come in a number of forms as well, all of which sound enjoyable. So rather than having one or two very rare heroes, you now have basically commercialised heroism. It's a very neat idea and could allow a lot of fun with two people playing OCs.
