Very straight forward question ^^
I’ll add some extra things to the questions though:

If Movie:
1) How long would the movie be?
2) How many movies if it’s a series of games?

If TV show:
1) How many episodes?
2) How many seasons? Would it be a season for each game if it’s a series?

I will give my answer~
My favorite game of all time is What Remains of Edith Finch! A very heartbreaking tale of a girl named Edith who return home after some years to find out the reason behind the many deaths in her family as she explores her uniquely built house~

They go through an entire family tree in the game, and each family member can easily like a 22-minute episode, interspersed with Edith’s dialogue and thoughts as she progresses further in the house. Or if not each family member an episode, I would say two or three family members an episode. That would probably make up like around 8 episodes at that pace. :3

Mass Effect - would need to be done as a TV series, from 6 to 10 parts. Just the first one to begin with.

Horizon: Zero Dawn - again, TV series, 6 to 10 parts.

In both cases, movies would cut so much out as to make the story largely unrecognisable.

I think Vampire: The Masquerade: Bloodlines would make for a great show. If you fluff up the story with some more interpersonal elements, that the game isn't focusing on too much and explore some sideplots which happen, but the player isn't present for, you could probably make two 10 episode seasons out of it. TV can afford to stroll a bit more leisurely through the plot.

As a really wild suggestion: Pathologic, although that would be a very arts-y endeavour, since the game get's very meta.
Funnily enough, some russian fans did put together a fake-trailer by cutting together soundbites from the game and aesthetically fitting russian period dramas and it looks damn good.
(For those who know the game: Obviously each of the three healers gets a 12-episode season, plus a 13th episode in season three to wrap up the meta-stuff. I'd also cast Daniel Radcliffe as Dankovsky and Jason Momoa as Burakh xD)
