Hello there, I go by Garon. I'm a twenty-something man from the American Midwest, and I've been RPing since I was a lad in middle school. I'm a big fan of science fiction and fantasy. But I suppose I should lay out some information about this interest check.
I tend to be very casual when it comes to RPs. On average, my posts will range from one to three paragraphs (said paragraphs being composed of 5-7 sentences apiece). As I work part-time I can respond to RPs on most days. Thanks to my English teachers, I endeavor to use proper spelling and grammar, but I realize everyone makes mistakes!
First and foremost, your IRL identity doesn't matter to me as long as you're over 18, polite, and maybe enjoy chatting and sharing memes or talking games, anime/manga, or movies. My ideal partner understands that I have mental health issues that may get in the way of me posting. I would definitely appreciate partners whose writing is similar in length to mine. But more than anything, I want communication. If you're going to be gone a while, let me know. If you need to put the RP on hold because of IRL circumstances, let me know. If you've lost interest in the RP, let me know! I'm a big boy, and I prefer being told something over being left in the dark.
I love writing steamy scenes as much as the next person on this forum, but more than anything I want a good story. I want to be able to step away from my real life for a little while and immerse myself in a world where I'm someone else. More than smut, I love romance. I love a good romantic subplot to a story, especially if there's interesting chemistry between characters. The most smut I'll go for a RP is 45%, with the average being around 25%-30%.
To put it simply, I'm a very simple man when it comes to what gets me going in the bedroom department. I'm something of a switch, and I don't mind being the dom. Aside from vanilla, I would say my biggest kinks are:

General plot ideas​
MC wakes on an uncharted island populated by many dangerous (and perhaps prehistoric) species. In order to survive, he must learn quickly with the help of a native of the island.

After a disaster on a colony ship, a pair of survivors find themselves stranded on an alien world. Exploring and surviving, what secrets does this planet hold? (inspired by Subnautica and light themes of Halo: Combat Evolved)
With the release of a new game, thousands of players find themselves trapped in it. (inspired by Sword Art Online; would prefer sci-fi themes but fantasy is fine too)
YC is a cosplayer. While she's quite skilled at creating cosplays, her weakest point is in creating props. So she turns to someone known as the Smithy, a reclusive individual in the cosplay community known for creating amazing props at a fair price. How does their relationship unfold?
In the ruins of the western United States, a bounty hunter and an android team up in order to find lost bunkers filled with technology that would have shifted the tides of WWIII (inspired by the Girls' Frontline games; I want this to have a sort of Western feel to it in a post-apocalyptic sci-fi setting)

Formulating an idea inspired by My Dress-Up Darling. Will add it to the list when I have access to a computer and not just a phone.
 
Bumping. Haven't added any fandoms to the list, but I have a distinct craving for a Digimon story right now.
