Plot: OC (original character) comes back from vacation, and they bought a book from an antique store. The store owner claimed the book was magical. Mostly intrigued, they bought it and decided to read the book one night. It’s about a man who made selfish wishes. After going to bed that night, OC wakes up in a room that isn’t their own. They’re lying in a huge bed, surrounded by furniture that wasn’t their own, in a house they weren’t familiar with, and in a land they did not know. Eventually, they discover in adjacent rooms, they are surrounded by people from media (shows, video games, books, movies, etc) they are in love with. Are they dreaming? What’s happening?This plot is inspired by A Whole New World by Crystal_Grace on AO3.
RULES
- Age Limits: I AM NOT ROLE PLAYING WITH ANYONE UNDER 18.
- Word Limit: I like to think of my writing as between literate and advanced literate. I average 200-300 words per reply, but I am willing and wanting to improve my average if a partner challenges me. I am looking for someone that can write multi-paragraph replies. I enjoy role plays with detail in their writing: character thoughts, action, the environment around them, etc.
- Post Frequency: I’d like for a partner to post at least once a day and multiple times a week. I’m willing to do the same, especially if it’s a role play I’m really enjoying. Replies will be slower on weekends because that’s when I work. I get bored when replies start to slow, and my partner doesn’t respond within a couple days. It drags the role play. I’m not the best partner for you if you can’t do this.
- Character Limits: I am looking for a multi-fandom harem role play. That means I want a role play partner who is able to play multiple characters in one scene. Since it is a double-up, I will be doing the same for my partner. Of course, you do not have to play them all in the same scene. However, the more characters the better, especially for group conversation scenes or characters in sexual scenes (threesomes, foursomes, orgies, etc).
- Romance Rules: I am fine with LGBTQ+ relationships in the role play. Gay ships, transgender characters, and non-binary folks are well and fine! Depending on your character and the canon character, the pace of the relationship might be a slowburn or instantaneous! This role play will contain NSFW content; however, I’d rather it not be the main focus. I like to have a healthy balance. 60/40! I do not enjoy fade-to-black scenes.
- Triggers & Limits: I am not fine with pregnancy in any way, shape, or form. I am also not OK with illegal ships like pedophilia or bestiality (that should be a given for anyone, but I have to include it since the world is nuts). I also do not role play animal abuse. I do not enjoy writing combat, but I do not think that will be an issue since it’s a primarily slice-of-life themed role play. I am not afraid to tell someone if something makes me uncomfortable in a role play. Please do the same for me.
- Godmodding: Why do I have to make this a rule? Isn’t this the number 1 rule of role playing? Don’t. Control. My. Character. Did you make them? Do you know how they’re going to react in certain situations? No. However, if you ask out of character (OOC) for permission to certain things, then I may agree. For example, a character grabs my OC’s arm to pull her somewhere. She’s more likely to follow along if the person grabbing her arm is stronger and there is a positive relationship between OC and the other character. - OOC Etiquette: Communication is a beautiful thing. Please tell me if you’re unable to respond for a while. I will understand. We are all humans with lives outside the Internet. We get sick, someone dies, we have work, hobbies, family, pets, friends, among millions of responsibilities. However, I’d like to know if my partner will be gone for long periods of time. I will do the same. I also like to become friends with my partner! It’s boring if we don’t plan things for the role play and gush about characters. I like to send song ideas, art, moodboards, playlists, and headcanons.
- Faceclaims & Descriptions: I am a visual person. I like to have pictures of characters/clothing/ideas rather than descriptions. Visual ideas give me a better grasp of what to write. I often use them to describe the interiors, especially because spatial awareness is difficult in role plays. I prefer when my roleplay partner uses an anime face claim. Paintings and drawings are also OK. Real life people are where I draw the line because imagine they find out you’re using their face for a smut role play. Yuck.

The more fandoms from the list you know, the more we can include, the better. No, please do not approach me if you only know one fandom from the list.
