I am Koura, an avid writer and roleplayer who is pushing past 40. I enjoy writing well-developed stories that include exquisite world-building, dark themes and compelling characters; I want to fill my stories with characters and places that make them feel alive.
I am looking for writing partners to craft long-term stories that focus on character interaction with a fair amount of detailed smut. However, even with all the smut involved, I want the story to remain in focus.
In case you're curious about definitions, a long-term story means something that takes several months to wrap up. I would love to promise everyone reaching out to me a riveting story, but in reality, chemistry is a fickle thing. Because of this, I prefer to chat with my potential partners before diving head-first into a scene.
I lean heavily on the dominant side, preferring to play against intelligent and proud submissive female characters. I do not want her to submit just because she wants to yield; I want her to submit because she has no other choice. I take pleasure in the hunt, so to speak. My main kink of sorts, if that term applies, is to see how characters act and react in a given situation they find themselves in. This means that I have no interest in god-modding your character.

I prefer to create the setting for the story together with my partner. I particularly adore watching what other creative writers conjure up as we delve into the world of our creation. That doesn't mean I won't write contemporary stories, but suggesting a shared world-building project is a sure way to get my attention.
You can ask me to write in PMs or threads, I do both frequently. I consider myself advanced literate and would prefer partners who can match my post quality. If you are curious about my writing style, please take a look at some of my public threads ( one, two, three).
I work from home a fair bit so you can expect 1 - 3 replies per week with an average of 500 - 1000 words per reply. Should something get in the way of writing, I will let you know. I will also let you know if I lose interest in the roleplay or my motivation to write. I generally hate to leave people hanging, so you can expect frequent updates. I would appreciate it if my partner gave me the same courtesy.
I have quite a variety of tastes, so I have no issues adjusting to the preferences of my partner. However, I do expect you to be aware of your limits and how you want your character to be put in place or tamed.

Your character finds herself involved with organized crime in one way or another. Perhaps her family has taken a loan from the mob or perhaps she merely caught the eye of a mafia boss who insists on making her his own. This plot is about my character wanting yours as his own and being willing to do anything and everything to make that happen.

Your character, a skilled healer in need of money or perhaps a place to hide, offers her services to a mercenary company. She is assigned to a man who doesn't quite appreciate her talents, instead seeing her as someone to use as he pleases, both in her official duties and outside them. This plot would be largely about the toxic relationship between our characters. He needs her and her skills but does not like it and is willing to make her life a living hell for it.

Your character finds herself married to a (foreign) nobleman who has particular ideas on how she should act in her presence. Your character has ideas of her own. I seek to write a story where a young woman finds herself in a harsh situation alien to her and how that might change her.

Your character is a noblewoman who finds herself sold to a brothel, either to cover her family's debts or to allow her callous husband to dispose of her. I seek to write a story about how a young woman finds herself in near-unsustainable circumstances and how the experience changes her.
