POTENTIAL FF8 SPOILERS AHEAD.​

Sooo... I finished FF8 after several times of starting it and dropping it on several different occasions and platforms. It felt really... short?? Or that might just of been because I was playing the remaster with 3x speed and the battle booster on oops. Still don't like the draw/junction system.. glad that didn't carry over into later games.

But.. Squall/Riona?? Uh. I don't ship it. It's just so weird.. you meet with this random chick, turns out she's hiring you for something, blablabla turns out she absorbed the sorceresses power and whatnot. Like... where was there time for things to develop? To me it just felt like suddenly Squall decided, despite all his inner quirks and situations, ok I like girl now. Smh! I'd ship Irvine/Selphie faster than that any day...

Also... Didn't see the space thing coming. It was all brrrr sorceress faction Vs other faction THEN SUDDENLY SPACE!!! TIME SHENANIGANS!!! I just--

Yeah can't say this is one of my more liked games in the series... FF9 still the best one FUCKING REMAKE WHEN. NOE RUMORS. GIVE IT!! I might add this to my fandom list though.. maybe.

As for what I'm gonna play next.. probably Super Nep RPG...

Still have a bit of a brain fart so I'm not bumping any RTs.. Did finish NepRPG, it was passable... At least a new mainline Nep game FINALLY got confirmed jfc

Big woes of the OCxCanon aficionado!!

Like. I get it! I really do. A huge chunk of ocxcanon is selfish wish fulfilment with a large handful of mary/gary-sue/stus. Bleh. I don't like them either! And I hate the long-term stigma it's given to OCxCanon in general.

Yes, I have my fictional faves and would love to have an OC of mine cozy up to them in an imaginary universe of fictional making with al the fluffy smooches and lewds.. But that's not ALL I want. I want the growing together. The trying new things together. The domestics. The fights over both silly pointless and storming-out-leaving over things! Everyday life that happens to real people y'know?

It's just.. so damn hard to find people who'd be interested in that type of long-term story... Finding them to start with is impossible level difficulty, let alone things actually lasting!!!

But okay rant over. This is my journal and hill and I'm gonna SIT ON IT. >:V
