So this is a special idea I had to not only write a fun travel story, but to practice my Spanish at the same time.
My idea is that MC is a backpacker from the US, traveling through Central and South America on a dream trip he's always wanted to take. While traveling through one of the tourist-focused cities like Quito or Guayaquil or Bogotá or somewhere similar, he meets YC who is a local girl. They spend a night together and when morning comes she decides she wants to travel with him. She acts as his guide and interpreter when necessary, even preventing him from being taken advantage of by locals.
