For those who are browsing for partners, but don't want to go through a whole bunch of text, here is a quick summary of who I am as a roleplayer:
I typically prefer to play femme men who are subs/masochists in terms of fetish/kink in mxm pairings--that does NOT mean that they are all doormats or uwu soft boys, as I don't like characters who are strictly shy or gentle, since I prefer to play them spicy. I can also play doms/sadists as well, but only if they are not the main character I'm playing, who preferably would be in the pairing, but exceptions can be made. I'm also open to play more masc men, if specifically requested. My starting posts are typically novella length, and will typically average around 3-5 paragraphs outside of pure dialogue-scenes. That said, because of my busy life and length of posts, I typically post once a day. I love to write grittier and darker RPs, including subjects that are typical triggers for others. My story/smut ratio would range from 80-20 all the way to 0-100 (more info
in my fetish RP style). I also do like some more extreme fetishes (all within TOS, of course).

Expectations

I've been RPing for more than 10 years now. I've recently returned from a long hiatus, so excuse me if I'm a little bit rusty before I settle back into the saddle again. You can expect the following out of me:
- I exclusively play in MxM romances. I have a preference to play more femme sub men, but can play masc men if specifically requested. I'm also willing to play doms, but only if they aren't the main character that I'm playing.
- Detailed posts typically ranging from 3-5 paragraphs. If only dialogue is going on, my posts might be shorter, and my post frequency would increase.
- 1-3 posts a day. Typical post count per day would be 2, depending on when you post a response as well.
- Mobile friendly posts with no funky colors or formatting
- A message if I don't expect to be available to post anything, accompanied with a date for when I should be back and available to post again
- Available for both thread and DM roleplaying
- My typical posts are usually past tense and in third person, but I'm willing to write in first person or present tense if requested.
- I love brainstorming with my partners! So expect lots and lots of OOC chatter.
- I will NOT control your character. You have full agency of your character, and I will not have your character act within my post unless it is to reiterate character actions you've already written in your previous post.
- My characters may be subs, but I like to play an active part of scenes. If applicable, I will tell you what I want you to do to my character in scenes where my character does not have much control of himself and his environment. Of course, those are simple requests, and you are free to reject those requests as you see fit. Additionally, if you would like to take more creative freedom, I'm fine with that as well! Additionally, if you have any requests for me to do anything to your character, feel free to shoot those ideas over as well.
- Communicated limits and boundaries will be respected. If there are certain content you don't want discussed or even mentioned, just tell me. No questions asked. For example, if you just don't want to see, hear, or talk about schizophrenia, tell me and that will be the last you hear of that word and its associated symptoms out of me again.
That said, my expectations/preferences for my partner would be:
- A post every 2-3 days
- Posts that match my effort in my posts. Posts during pure dialogue scenes can be short as well, but once those scenes are done, I'd like more substance for me to work off of.
- Posts are formatted to be mobile friendly
- A head's up if you aren't planning to post. This can include hiatuses, breaks, or RP ends. I won't harbor any hard feelings if you choose to drop an RP, nor will I ask any questions on why. I respect your boundaries and privacy, and you don't even need a reason to drop an RP other than that you decide you want to.
- Full agency for my own characters

Roleplay Styles

I have 3 roleplay types that I like to do:
- Vanilla 1-on-1 Literary RP
- Gamified TTRPG duet RP, with me as GM
- Fetish RP: 100% ERP

Literary RP
This style is what people often think of when it comes to multi-paragraph/literate RPing, and it is what this forum is known for. This is the most 50-50 give and take style, and would have the most active brainstorming, therefore the most back and forth, in both plots and worldbuilding. I'm open to have the RP be full improv and we see where it goes, or we can plan out the entire story until the end, or something in between. If you would like to RP in this style with me, put Cinnamon somewhere in the title of a DM to me. This is my most adaptive and open type of RP, and will be open to any and all requests, ideas, suggestions, etc., and will try to make those ideas happen (within reason, of course). Ideal story/smut ratio for me would be around 60-40 to 80-20. These types of RPs can range from short all the way to long term, depending on what my partner requests, and what ideas we come up with.

TTRPG Duet RP
This style will have the most expectations and restrictions. That is because this will be very reminiscent of a full TTRPG, such as Dungeons and Dragons or Vampire: The Masquerade or Call of Cthulhu, where I'll be the Game Master or Dungeon Master, while I'm also playing a secondary main character to my partner's main character. If you would like to RP in this style with me, put Ice Cream somewhere in the title of a DM to me. My default TTRPG system will be basic DND 5e, but if you would like any other system, feel free to specify and I'll read up on it. Since this style will be pulling so much inspiration off of the dynamic of TTRPGs' DM and player, this would mean you would get to enjoy an asynchronous semi-full-blown TTRPG adventure with your character as the main focus without needing to worry about sharing the limelight with other players, along with the sprinkling romance.
And like TTRPGs, this means a lot of upfront work for my partner. I will be asking for the following from my partner:
- The TTRPG system's character sheet to be filled out
- My own supplemental character sheet to be filled out
- Campaign premise (if one isn't chosen out of my plot ideas near the bottom of my request thread)
- Semi-exhaustive list of subject limits and boundaries
- General vibe of the character's backstory, along with what you'd like to see in your character's story arc
- Expectations and preferences
- How much TT of the TTRPG would you like? i.e., roleplay to combat ratio, how by the books you would like, etc.
- Any preferences on what sort of character you would like your character to romance
Once that is done, give me 3-5 days to finish cooking up a campaign for you based on the premise that we agreed upon. Then I'll contact you, and make the very first post for you to reply to. Since I'll be DMing, my posts would probably end up being novella length, but I don't expect you to match that length. Shorter posts will be fine, as long as they aren't one-liners, as it's easier to work off of posts that are at least 1 paragraph long.
That said, some additional expectations and preferences from me:
- I like playing a secondary main character that will be very close to your character, preferrably one that will eventually end in romance
- I suspect story-smut ratio being around 70-30 to 90-10
- These would typically be medium to long term RPs
- Depending on what's going on in the RP, my posts might not always make it to the daily mark. I will contact you if I am not able to make a post that day, so you aren't stuck wondering. My goal will be to ensure I have a post for you at the very most every 3 days.
- I won't do RP to combat ratios that are less than 60-40, since that isn't really interesting on an RP forum medium.

Fetish RP
These are typically almost 100% smut, with kinks and settings of all kinds. Want to RP a sweet and loving couple in a hurt-comfort plot? Sure! Want to break in a sex slave? Done! Want to own a whole farm of human cattle? Let's do that shit. If you'd like to RP in this style with me, please include Chili somewhere in the title of a DM to me. I usually expect these RPs to be short-term RPs, but we can negotiate longer or even multiple RPs if you'd like as well!
I also am willing to play doms in this style as well, but only with the following conditions:
- I have a sub character that I mainly play
- You also have a dom character that you can play as well

Plot Ideas

Plot idea descriptions will have placeholder names where MC would be "my preferred character" and YC would be "preferrably your character".
- The Courier
- Preferred style: Gamified Duet.
- Preferred story/smut ratio: 80/20
- Medium to long term
- Genre: Action. Adventure. Fantasy. Romance. (Possibly Enemies to) friends to lovers.
- Setting: High fantasy. The biggest change is that spellcasters have people who are their "familiars", a special type of person that the spellcaster can cast spells through. These familiars cannot use magic, but spells cast by the spellcaster will be coming from the familiars. For example, say somebody casts fireball from the top of a cliff's edge, while their familiar is at the bottom of a canyon. The fireball would be coming from the familiar's hand and would fill the bottom of the canyon.
- Summary: YC is a courier of a specialized package delivery company, going on quests to deliver fragile/delicate packages to hard-to-reach recipients. YC is a spellcaster whose familiar had recently been killed in a delivery gone wrong. MC is his replacement familiar, and they must learn to work together.
- I Don't Want to Marry the Villain of the Tragedy Novel!
- Preferred style: Gamified Duet.
- Medium to long term
- Genre: Fantasy. Isekai. Drama. Romance. Enemies to lovers. Toxic relationships. K-Drama, or Korean webtoon.
- Setting: I'm currently on my otome isekai kick lol. Think of this as a high magic regency/medieval fantasy.
- Inspiration: Villains are destined to die. I'm not the Final Boss's Lover. Undercover Princess. Not Another Reincarnation Story. Tyrant's Dishonest Advisor.
- Summary: YC was a normal student who had started to play a romantic tragedy dating sim. Maybe YC died, or maybe they just fell asleep. Either way, they wake up to be one of the characters in the game (can be a side character, or the main character, or another fellow antagonist!), who is destined to die at some point in the game. Now he has to figure out how to stay alive!
- For those unfamiliar with the Isekai trope: Isekai is a trope where people of our reality are transported into a different world, and are subsequently trapped there. This can happen because the character got killed, fell asleep, or logged on into a malicious VR video game. In Korean webtoons, especially the ones that I'm referencing, the person who got transported was in the middle of reading some book, webtoon, dating sim, game, etc, aka, a fiction of some sort. Then they fall asleep, but suddenly wake up in the world of that fiction, as one of the characters. Can be the original main character, a side character, a villain, etc. And the end goal of the story is that they either A) go back to the real world again, or B) take advantage of the fact that they read the majority (or all) of the original fiction, and therefore would be able to "predict the future", while also changing the original fiction through their own actions. In the case of the plot idea I had, the MC would probably end up taking the place of some side character who, in the original fiction, was doomed to be killed in some sort way.
- Havoc in the Senate
- Preferred style: Literary RP
- Medium term
- Genre: Political Intrigue. Drama. Historical.
- Setting: Historical, inspired by the Roman Empire
- Summary: YC is the brother of a senator, and as a result rather well-off. However, there has been unrest within capital, and hidden political powers are vying for full control of the Empire, which has only recently gotten over a civil war. Your brother bought MC, a gladiator, off the slave market, to protect him. Unfortunately, your brother has been assassinated, and you've taken his place. Now you have to navigate the roiling political climate to try to keep yourself alive, as the capital might be at the brink of another civil war.
- The Wailing Woods
- Preferred style: Literary RP where we both play many minor characters. Otherwise, we could run a Duet.
- Setting: Modern. Early to mid 2000s.
- Genre: Horror. Supernatural. Suspense. Slice of life. Modern. Action. Mystery.
- Preferred characters: Both of us would be playing two college undergrads who are strangers to each other. They are both taking on temporary summer jobs as entry-level park rangers. They both are underqualified for the park ranger job, and do not major in natural studies or medical studies.
- Summary: A few handful of college undergrads have been hired on as entry-level park ranger for temporary summer jobs in a (preferably fictional) national park that spans almost 900,000 acres. Their jobs are pretty standard for entry-level park rangers. Man the visitor centers. Maintain other park and centers that are scattered throughout a (preferably fictional) national park that spans almost 900,000 acres. Walk the trails to ensure the trail markers remain accurate. Look for any potentially dangerous areas, and notify the supervising/senior rangers. Maintain the 25+ large camp sites that scatter throughout the park. Properly stock any firewatch towers. Maintain and stock radio towers.
However, this is no ordinary national park. A suspicious amount of people have gone missing within the park. And rumors and ghost stories of strange sightings have started to circulate. But most importantly, and unknown to the public, the reason why the park had hired such a large influx of park rangers, many of whom may not even be qualified for the job itself, is because more than half of the staff had mysteriously disappeared during the summer of the previous year. And it seems like some of the higher ups have some secrets that they are hiding.
