In the year 2055 the wealth gap is greater than ever. 99% of the world living in large shelters built to house as many people as it can while using as little space as possible and the other 1% living in mansions and owning massive plots of land all over the world. laws are essentially meaningless: police dont care about crime among the lower class, if a commoner goes against an upper class member they usually... 'disappear without a trace' and the upper class just pay off anyone who tries to go against them. I'm part of the 99%, working in a factory for most of the day just to barely earn enough to buy some bread for dinner. While you are the complete opposite. Earning more money a day than most people would be able to spend in their whole lives.

Today you were just going to inspect one of your many factories, ensuring all was running smoothly. You weren't going to spend more than an hour there (after all the air in this part of the slums was essentially toxic with how much pollution these places produced) but that's when you saw me, Working, and you have an idea. Making me an offer: I become yours, whatever you say I do, any decisions I'm meant to make in my future are yours, I don't get a say in it. But in exchange I'll never need to worry about money again.. and I accept
