He sat on his haunches waiting for the moon to rise in the distance as the cold wind swept his fur. To those in the distance he would just be a massive black shadow amongst the trees, his dark pelt unkempt and tangled due to a lack of a pack. He could only do so much grooming on his own but due to his sheer size he'd never been much for taking the time to do it, it took too long. Almost three times the size of the other wolves in these forests and none would have him in their pack or as pack leader. He desired a mate however. Finding a mate while not part of a pack wasn't especially difficult for him just troublesome as he'd always had to fight males. His flesh beneath his fur was a tapestry of battle, scars and slowly healing wounds littering it like a vast canvas of pain.
Raising from his haunches he padded along the forest floor trying to be silent. It was almost impossible at his size, his large paws broke twigs and small sticks loudly, his fur pulled bushes and branches alike as he moved along. His muscular body like one long strand of sinews pulled him forward through the dense undergrowth as he began to stalk a pack as they headed north.

She had known there was a loner wolf following them, her whole pack had known and she wondered who it was, her pack though would never let any of the females venture further then they could see. She did so a few times and they had gotten on her pretty quickly, she was thinking of leaving the pack but she didn't know if she could do so on her own, growling lowly she walked slowly, her paw had gotten injured when she had helped taken down a deer and right after they ate and slept for the night it was time to go. Sighing she looked around hearing the branches snap, her mind jerked at the thought of running then and there but she would wait till the next nightfall, or if the pack fought another pack then she would take her chance. Her white coat shined in the woods with the little bit of sun that hit it, the only part of her body not shining was her foot that was covered in blood, her dark blue steel eyes looked around and sniffing the air, she had always wondered what was beyond the pack life, and what was beyond these woods and she couldn't wait until the day she could explore. Her tail flicked in the wind and she leaned her head down to the ground sniffing, she was in heat and wanted a mate also but it wasn't her place, plus even if she had pups she knew the leader's mate would take them over and she wasn't going to or willing to risk it.

He traveled slowly along behind the pack, his size more reminiscent of a bear than a wolf as he trudged before he found a path slightly wider and began a slow trot. Eventually his pads were pulling him along as fast as he could go and due to the strength of his muscles he made less noise as he touched the forest floor with only brief flits of contact. They could probably smell him, but they'd also know due to his massive size to take him down they'd suffer more losses than any of them was worth. He leapt down from an outcropping onto the path before them and simply sat on his haunces looking at them. Massive and obstinate he barked out a challenge to their leader. He knew that no Alpha could possibly be stupid enough to challenge him on its own. Then he saw her. The flowing white fur was a stark contrast to his own, and her scent, just from a slight breeze his member began to poke out of its sheath as he sat there. The tip was much larger than those of the average, or any of the above average wolves in the pack.

For some reason she had better ears then her pack and she heard him coming from farther away, hearing him as she followed him with her eyes her head snapped to were he sat down and barked at their leader to fight. Her body went tense and she sat down, her paw hurting and she looked at the others as they knew they wouldn't back down, growling lowly as she saw him look at her and she saw his reaction she put her head down, her ears going flat as hear tail wrapped around her body. Her teeth showed as she let out a loud growl, one that would show she wouldn't back down if he tried anything, but also one that if he chose her out of the pack she would be a aggressive alpha. Staring him down she shivered a little, her body tired from walking but also from knowing she couldn't take him, much less if she did it would hurt badly but then again he could pick any female out of the pack and have them, she wondered who he would choose but they all seemed to calm down willing to not be stupid and let him choose who he wanted.

He was somewhat annoyed that they didn't even put up a resistance. They simply parted before him after only growling for a few minutes. He stood eventually, his fur bristling slightly as he moved due to his tensed muscles. Even attempting to ambush him would not go well for them just due to his sheer size. Unlike the bears that could be taken down by packs he was quick and far more cunning. He padded through the pack and straight to her. Even as she growled she lowered her head slightly giving way a sign of submission. IT didn't matter how tough she tried to play it she could not win against him, a single bite and he could very well end her. Turning he barked and order and shifted his head at the others to leave then turned to her. Inhaling her scent he moved closer and merely sat on his haunches observing her for a few seconds, she was his in the eyes of her pack, they would sacrifice her and be on their way.

She knew well enough that her pack would give her up, at least she would be free and be able to explore if this new wolf let her, he had his eyes set on her and every other wolf knew so. Whimpering lowly as they all left her and him she looked up at him her ears flat to her head, even though she was scared of him she didn't want to be hurt anymore then she needed to be, plus he looked like he needed some loving too. Getting up she walked around him then nuzzled her head into his stomach and up his chest, her eyes looked up at his and she sat down in front of him, her eyes then went down his chest and stomach and down to his cock, she let out a low whimper knowing if he decided to mate with her she knew it would hurt but she would have to endure it. Looking back up at him she let out a low growl of admiration, it wasn't one like before when the pack was around, now it was more of a happy and thank you, a more friendly one.

He did not watch as the pack left. Not a single one so much as gave him a second glance for fear of upsetting him. That was one of the benefits of being his size, he didn't have to often worry about creatures deciding to attempt to surprise him. A few of the more foolish ones had but he'd managed to hold his own consistently. He looked to her appraisingly. He wanted her for his mate but didn't want to rush into anything. Leaning down he ran his large muzzle along her throat and underbelly as a sign of affection. In truth he was almost three times her physical size but he was rather gentle. He licked softly at her injured paw before touching his nose to hers by way of greeting. He eventually stood, his shoulder at height with her head as he turned and gestured his head to the east. A man had recently come to study him and had treated some of his wounds, it was possible he could do something about her paw. He padded slowly along, nothing in the forest that was awake at this hour would have attacked him in any case.
