Greetings all,
I'm new here, but not new at all to roleplaying. I've written for many years already, and I'm looking forward to exploring this new place. I don't know how to make this thread look all that good yet, so consider this a work in progress for now.
MY WRITING:
I consider myself an imaginative person, and a literate one. I enjoy the act of collaborating with a partner, developing characters and placing them in interesting situations. I prefer writing on Discord, since I enjoy the back-and-forth element of that platform, but I would also be OK writing here on the site in PMs.
While I've written many long-term stories in the past with partners, some going on for years, that's not what I'm searching for here, at least not at first. I'd like to try dipping our toes in the water with something manageable first, not a one-shot story but also not a novel. Then, if we discover we get along well, we can continue and take on something more ambitious.
I'm not about to specify how much a story should be plot and how much should be smut, because every story is different. That said, I'm not looking to explore some endless sex scene. I need characters and conflict and tension, otherwise the sexual scenes are meaningless. But I am here to write highly-sexualized stories.
I also am not going to dictate any kind of post length here. Sometimes a post should be long, other times it should be shorter. Write the post the story needs, without worrying about word counts.
MY STORIES:
I enjoy exploring mostly modern-day settings with plausible characters and situations. Keep in mind that plausible does not mean dull. Life is full of surprising and confusing twists and turns. Life can be wild. I'm just not interested in magic spells or demigods making any appearances in my writing.
My characters are dominant. They are intelligent. They are generally mature and particular. And they are almost always flawed. Imagine the CEO with a heightened sex drive that gets him into trouble. Or the married man whose gaze keeps drifting where it shouldn't. I want to explore those flaws rather than sweep them under the rug, and I'd love to explore my partner's character's flaws as well.
