Got a silly question and a hopefully less silly question

My first time on bluemoon but I am a long time roleplayer. Silly question first how do I change my profile picture? Less silly question(I hope) second any bluemoom veterans have any tips? Thank you

Welcome to BMR! Those aren't silly questions at all!

To change your profile picture, the best place to get everything in one spot is your account details. Click on your username at the top right, beside the message envelope, and go down to your details. It'll look something like this:

As for your second question! Some tips and tricks: the best thing I can suggest is to make a request thread detailing what you're into and looking for, and what you aren't looking for. Don't just wait for someone to come to you, though! Looking through other people's request threads can yield the most chance for you to find a writing partner you click with.

Sometimes posting some character profiles and outlines can get some interest as well, so making a thread in the character sheets & world building area is a good way to showcase the types of characters you'd love to play.

Beyond that, the forum games is a good place to meet some lovely people, and general chat is usually bustling with some pretty good folk too!

I also think you might not be able to change your picture until your account is upgraded. Just make three posts and wait 24 hours from the time you registered. Until then, a bunch of account options won’t be visible.

No, they can change it immediately I'm pretty sure. I've absolutely seen people change it almost immediately or atleast within grey limbo prison.

I managed to change it but I have no idea if my accounts still in limbo or not, either way thanks a ton for the help and I'll try to keep that in mind for future questions hahaha
