Let's give this a shot…
First off, I am new to this site, and have only been roleplaying off and on for a few years at this point. That being said, I consider myself to be very detail oriented and give my all to those I have an interaction with.
When it comes to the role plays themselves, I prefer third person, past tense, multi-paragraph form. That's not necessarily nonnegotiable, but just what I am most used to. I try to write around 3-6 paragraphs each time I post, but I understand that sometimes one may need a longer post (usually near the beginning of a story), or a short post (usually when there's plenty of dialogue). Overall I don't want to put limits on myself or my partners and expect the same in return.
OOC chat is also something I tend to enjoy. I find it helps to keep things on track and to clear up any confusion either of us may have.
I'd like to find someone I mesh with first, that has the same interests as me and start from there. Ideally, I would like to build a bit of world. I don't expect anything too extreme or intricate, but enough to give our characters a good backstory and something for us to have fun with.
For the part that most people are probably reading for: The Request Itself
This is a bit tricky for me as I don't have a concrete setup I'd wish to try, more of overall themes I'd like to expand upon with a willing partner.
Overall I'd like the story to focus on a character or characters (I find writing multiple people is hard, yet fun) who practice in some sort of worship or magic. Maybe it's a group of witches, someone who worships pagan gods, a cult recruiting new members, etc. We would then explore the individuals using their powers/abilities to corrupt, train, or use ordinary people for their own desires and purposes.
I understand that may sound too vague, but I think that keeps the door open for lots of discussion to how the plot would go. It would also allow us to delve into the slow or sudden changes in a character that would make them act in a way where they normally wouldn't.
Sexual kinks we can talk about in greater detail as I'm much more flexible with the yeses, no's, and maybes than the plot itself. That isn't to say I don't want smut in my RPs (I absolutely do and want a good amount of it!) I just think the story/plot is a lot more difficult to find a good match with another person.
Lastly, I work a very physically demanding job and have a busy schedule. I'll try to keep those in conversing with updated, but if I go hours, or days, or even weeks without responding it's most likely because I just haven't logged on. I don't mind an occasional nudge to make sure a message doesn't get buried, but I'm not a fan of being spammed with tons of messages.
