Kadic Academy, a private boarding school in France. A number of years ago this is where a group of students that once called themselves the Lyoko Warriors attended school. Odd Della Robbia, Yumi Ishiyama, Ulrich Stern, and Jeremie Belpois. They were the original warriors then later on in their school life, after fighting XANA for a while, two new people ended up joining the team. There was Aelita Schaeffer, a girl that had been trapped in Lyoko by her father in order to protect her and the secrets she held. The Lyoko Warriors managed to visualize her onto Earth, causing her to become a warrior as well. Then there was William Dunbar, who joined the team after it was realized that they needed more warriors, but problems arised when he was possessed after the first trip, turning him into a servant for XANA. Eventually he was freed by the rest of the team, although this did cause a small rift between them. But this was a number of years ago, now it is time for the new generation of students.

"Ready for your first day at school?" a middle aged Jeremie Belpois was looking towards his daughter, who happened to be standing next to that of his wife Aelita - the middle aged woman just smiling as she looked around the school a bit. There were so many fond memories that they all had at Kadic Academy; some more than others considering Aelita had spend a good portion of her life trapped in Lyoko before she was able to virtualize onto Earth. The young woman standing next to Aelita had the same pink hair of her mother, although hers fell down to her waist versus how her mother kept hers short, and she had the same brilliant blue eyes of her father.

"Father you act as though this is my first year at Kadic Academy." the seventeen year old was commenting after a moment in time before pushing some of her hair out of her face. Now this was in fact her final year at Kadic Academy. It felt like just yesterday that she had started at school and made all of the friends that she had made through the years. Even now - the original Lyoko Warriors still seemed to be close together as their children were all close with each other. It wasn't long before Ezri found herself distracted when she saw some of her other friends arrive and she was giving her parents hugs before she heading off with a wave.

With that she was walking towards the school and greeting Sissi and Ulrich - a couple that her parents had actually commented that they had been surprised had gotten together. After all Elizabeth, more commonly known as Sissi, had constantly been trying to get Ulrich's attention, but his eye had always been for Yumi. Things did end up changing up a bit at the arrival of William, whom Yumi seemed quite smitten with. But all in all it had all worked out for everybody, everybody was happy that is what mattered. "Good morning Ulrich, Good morning Sissi." the pinkette was greeting them with a smile before giving them each hugs. No she found herself quite close with the parents of all of her friends - yet again while Ezri was a bit of a brainiac and preferred to study more than anything, she was also a very friendly person; which made it quite easy for her to get along with others.

After greeting them she was turning her attention towards their son, Yang, who happened to be one of her close friends as well. "Morning Yang. Hope you had a fun summer." she was commenting with a smile before giving the young man a hug before she was taking a step away. No it was their final year at school and then who knew what they were all going to be doing with their future. Going their separate ways more than likely, after all they each had their own path that they were wanting to take. Although there was one thing that Ezri was determined to discover at some point during her time there - and that was she was wanting to find the supercomputer that her parents had talked about quite a bit. All of the children had heard stories about their parents adventures in Lyoko but they hadn't truly been told where it was the supercomputer had been.

Yang was excited to get started back at school. He was a tall and lean young man with short brown hair and hazel eyes. He took a lot after his father in terms of looks but his was personable and social a lot of ways like his mother. The entire Lyoko Warriors group was like one big family really as many of the children treated each other more like relatives than friends and the various families often took vacations together too.

Yang felt his lips curl into a soft smile as he saw Ezri and her family approaching. "Ezri! It's good to see you. How was the end of your summer?" He asked curiously as even though they kept in touch and often hung out over summer, the last two weeks saw their families off doing separate things for a change. He gave the pink haired girl a knowing smile and a wink after they hugged, he had been doing some research over the last few weeks and had a lead on the location of the supercomputer. That would have to wait until their parents were out of earshot though...for whatever the reason their parents seemed to not want their kids to have anything to do with the adventures they had gotten up to when they were younger.

"Uncle Jeremie! Aunt Aelita! Hopefully Ezri wasn't too much of a handful without me there to keep an eye on her?" Yang chuckled as he gave the two a big hug as well. Yang and Ezri were two of the closest kids in their group and they often acted like they were brother and sister with Yang taking on the role of watchful older brother at times, even though he was only a month and a half older than Ezri but he liked to hang that fact over her whenever he got the chance.

Ezri was just smiling towards Yang before she was commenting "I had a fantastic summer. Decided that I was going to go to a computer programming camp over the summer and had an absolute blast." Yet there was no shock there at all - she was a computer whiz that was for sure. Perhaps she had more computer knowledge than even her father and he had been quite the computer whiz when he had been in school. After that she was giving Yang a look when he was giving her a wink before giving him a hug back. Oh now that definitely told her that he knew something about the supercomputer. Something that they had heard about but their parents hadn't ever wanted to give them details about where it was at. Who knew exactly why they didn't want their kids to have anything to do with that adventure. After all the supercomputer was shut down so it shouldn't actually matter all that much. Yet even then.... if Ezri was determined enough she would figure out how to get the system up and running again. There wouldn't be anything stopping her at all.

Aelita was chuckling before she was speaking, "No trouble at all." With that she was giving him a hug back before she was telling him to also have a fantastic school year that they would get going so that they could head inside. Of course the students were going to be staying on the school grounds - other than if they got special permission to stay off of school grounds. Yet that wasn't really something that Ezri was wanting to do. She enjoyed staying at the school and staying with her friends. With that she was giving her parents a hug before she was taking Yang's hand to draw him away so that they could head inside.

Yang noticed that Ezri seemed to get the hint and gave her a big smile as he finished up his hug with Aelita. "Of course, Aunt Aelita! Ezri and I will kick butt at school as always!" He gave both his parents and his surrogate parents a thumbs up as Ezri grasped his hand as they began to head off towards the school as they waved bye to their parents. Living with family was nice and all but it was also nice to have their own space here at the school where they could just be themselves and hang out with each other.

Once their parents were out of earshot, Yang looked at Ezri and gave her a grin. "Well, I hope you are ready to put those computer skills you learned to good use because I found where they supercomputer was while you were gone." He spoke, his voice confident and happy. He wasn't going to tell her HOW he found it though....he had found it when he followed Yumi, teacher and family friend, one day after class. He was working up the courage to ask her something when he noticed that she seemed to be going somewhere odd and lo and behold after silently following her, it turned out she had been going to check on the supercomputer!

"I'll show you where it is later, but we can't be late for Yumi's class!" Yang insisted as entered the school building. If one thing had been very, VERY obvious for sometime now, it was the fact that Yang had quite the crush on Yumi, despite their age difference. Maybe he had acquired that from his father? Regardless, Yang wouldn't allow them to be late to Yumi's class, despite the fact that he had just dropped quite the bombshell on Ezri.

Ezri was just looking towards her parents and was giving a wave before she was waving towards that of Yang's parents as they were all heading off. Nope it seemed like they were all going off together - probably so that they could catch up since it had been a while since they had all done anything together. With that she was walking along with Yang so that they could head inside of the school and just looking towards him when he started to speak to her. Telling her that she had found where the supercomputer was that their parents were trying to hide from them. This definitely had her looking towards him with a bit of a wide eyed look, more of a wide eyed look of excitement. "Oh.... Now I am definitely excited." Ezri was commenting before she was hurrying after him so that they could get to Yumi's class.

Yumi Ishiyama, who had once been a close friend with their parents during their school years and one of the Lyoko Warriors when the supercomputer had been up and running. She had once been the love interest of Ulrich but she never returned the feelings, especially when William came into the picture. Yumi and William had ended up dating for a bit although things hadn't really worked out well. William hadn't ever really gone back to being himself fully after having been possessed by XANA for so long. But they were still friends regardless of the dating aspect having not worked out. In the end he had ended up finding somebody else that he fell in love with while Yumi was deciding to live the single life.

Ezri was just looking towards her "brother" for a moment before she was giggling at his excitement to get to Yumi's class. Oh she knew about his crush on Yumi, despite the age difference. She didn't have any judgment at all; as long as he was safe and happy in the end is all that she really cared about. And it wasn't as though Yumi knew about his crush. Honestly about the only one who truly knew about it was Ezri. "Of course you want to see Yumi." she was teasing him as she had headed off towards the classroom.

"What's that suppose to mean?" Yang asked Ezri with flushed red cheeks and a small scowl. Yang was the more social one between him and Ezri and that often meant he was the one doing the teasing but in this one aspect, Ezri definately had the upper hand on him. Part of him felt it was wrong for him to have a crush on a woman that his dad of all people used to have a crush on but he just found her to be so intelligent, beautiful and charming that he couldn't help himself!

"Keep teasing me like that and I won't show you where it is." He said, sticking his tongue out in a playful jeer though his tone made it clear he was just messing around with her. He knew how much finding that supercomputer meant to Ezri and he would never deny her that. He had always been somewhat interested in it himself but never to the level that Ezri was. The way she talked about needing to find it made it seem like she thought it was her destiny to find it or something like that.

After more talking and teasing the two arrived at their classroom and took a seat. They were a few minutes early and thus they could continue to chatter until Yumi arrived to start the class and welcome them all back.

Ezri was just looking towards him for a brief moment before giggling as he was turning bright red as she just pranced after him. Usually it was him doing the teasing since he was the more social one, except for when it came to this. But it was always done in a playful manner, nothing to ever call him out on his crush at all. With that she was sticking her tongue out at him although that turned into a small, yet playful pout, as he was commenting that he wasn't going to tell her where the supercomputer was. No Ezri had definitely had a strong interest in finding the supercomputer - yet again she wanted to learn about the world that her mother had lived in for so long.

Soon they were walking into the classroom and were able to sit down and chat for a bit before Yumi was coming into the room so that class could start. Honestly Ezri was grateful that she had some of the same classes with Yang - yet again out of the pair of them she tended to keep to herself a bit more than not. That shy, nerd pretty much. And last year had been a slightly miserable year for her - there had been quite a bit of bullying, which she had to an extent just dealt with on her own. Although eventually her other friends had learned about it, which had upset a couple of them, Yang having been one of them at the time.

Yang was clearly excited when Yumi showed up and he listened intently to her words. His crush on her was ever so obvious but it was impossible for him to hide it. As the class went on his mind wandered back to the supercomputer and to Ezri. He was remembering how he felt when he learned his basically sister was being bullied and the rage it had fueled him with. He confront some of the bullies and nearly got into a fight with them and it took their friends restraining him to avoid that. It showed just how much he cared for Ezri.

Eventually they had settled on reporting it to Yumi who managed to get the situation resolved. Still, Yang had been more protective of Ezri over the summer and as first period ended, he turned to Ezri and gave her a soft smile. "Hey....I want you to remember that if anything like last semester starts to happen, you'll let me know straight away, okay?" Yang reminded her firmly, he knew she was a bit embarrassed by the fact but he needed to know she was safe.

Yumi was just looking at all of the students before she was welcoming them back for the school year. That day she wasn't even starting with a lesson at all, instead she was just explaining what they were going to be expecting from her class, talking about what they were going to be learning. No the first day was a bit of a laid back day, especially in her class. Yet she had also wanted to become that teacher that the students didn't dislike because she constantly gave them homework, or the class was boring. She wanted to be that teacher that her students would come to when they needed help in school, or if they just needed that adult support for something.

When the period was ending she was dismissing all of the students before she was leaving them with the final reminder, "Remember if you need help of any sort my office is always open." After that she was waving them off so that they could get to their next class although she did find herself giving a smile towards Yang and Ezri. Definitely children that reminded her so much of their parents - people that she had been close friends with in high school. Other than Sissi... they hadn't ever really been that close with Sissi. At least not until later in the school years as they got older.

Ezri was looking towards Yang for a brief moment in time when he was bringing up what had happened last semester which had her just giving a small nod of her head. No she was definitely embarrassed but she wasn't really somebody who stood up for herself. Exactly why it was so easy to bully her, just because she didn't stand up for herself. "Yeah I will." she was nodding her head after a moment in time before giving a light smile.

Yang didn't seem to believe her for a moment but he nodded his head softly and then gave her a soft smile in return. "Okay, it's a promise then." He smiled as he made her do a pinky swear with him. It was a childish thing but it was something he knew she would treat seriously; she had never broken a pinky swear in her life before after all and he didn't see the shy and honest girl starting to do that anytime soon.

The rest of the day passed uneventfully as their went through class and caught up with friends but as the day began to wind down and students left the build, Yang turned to Ezri and gave her a grin. "Ready to go make your dreams come true?" He asked her with a playful grin before grasping her hands and leading her out of the classroom and school building, towards a barely visible trail that led into the woods.

Ezri was just looking towards Yang for a brief moment in time before she was giving a nod of her head and was making a pinky promise with him. "I promise that if something happens I'll be sure to tell you, or I'll tell somebody." No if for some reason something happened and she couldn't contact him she would inform one of their other friends. Out of the group... she was the more soft spoken and innocent of the group. Hell the girl had never even had a boyfriend or expressed interest in having a crush on anybody at all. Nobody that existed anyways - book characters and anime characters didn't exactly count since they weren't real.

The rest of the day went by uneventfully and nothing interesting really happened - yet it was the first day of school. This is how it was every year, nothing super exciting happened. They met their teachers, some of them brand new that year and learned about what the class was going to be about. During their downtime they were catching up with their friends and making plans on what they were going to do after school. Soon the day came to an end and Ezri found herself being grinned at by Yang who was asking if she was ready to make her dreams come true.

This definitely had her tilting her head but she was following after him when he was grasping her hands and drawing him with her. No she trusted Yang with her life, she knew that he wasn't going to do anything that was going to lead them into danger. Well not intentionally anyways. But anything could happen without them truly realizing it. "What exactly do you mean by that?" she was questioning after a moment in time, a hint of curiosity in her voice.

Erzi was the type of girl who often had her head in the clouds and was easily confused and he couldn't help but chuckle as she expressed some confusion about where he was leading her. He thought it was obvious but apparently it wasn't so he was going to spell it out for her. "I'm leading you to the super computer, silly. Haven't you been telling me about how it's been your dream to find it and work on it?" He giggled as she seemed to already forget about the fact that he had mentioned he found it.

He led them through the woods to an abandoned building and after going through a service hatch and down a ladder they arrived...it was the supercomptuer their parents had spoke so much about. It looked worn out and worse for well but it still appeared to be capable of functioning. He turn to Erzi and offered her a grin. "Well, is it everything you dreamed it would be?" He asked with a playful chuckle, curious to see how she would react.

Ezri was just looking towards him before she was commenting, "Oh yeah...." No her thoughts had been elsewhere at the time obviously; more just thinking on all of the different things that she had already learned about during that day. And sure that was one of her dreams but it wasn't as though it was her only dream - even if she strongly made it seem as though it was her only dream. With that she was following after him through the woods and towards an abandoned building which just had her looking around ever so slightly.

"This place seems more like something from a horror movie..." she was commenting in a soft voice but she was still following after him, following him to the service hatch and down a ladder they went. Soon they were entering the room with a computer within it and various wires connecting to it. Her eyes were definitely seemed to be widening and she was breathing, "Oh my god...." No she had honestly been starting to believe that all of their parents had just cooked up this insane story - or that they had gotten super into some VR or something.

Ezri was looking towards Yang for a moment in time before she was speaking, excitedly "This is amazing!" With that she was actually giving him a hug before going over to the computer so that she could examine it a bit. There was a little bit of talking to herself as she was looking it over but she was declaring that she could get it up and running again. "No not I could get it up and running... I will get it up and running." she was stating in a rather firm voice. No good thing they had the evening free and for whatever reason the school year had started on a thursday. So she would have to get through school on Friday then would have all weekend to figure it out.
