Before we get into the fun-stuff let's get the basic rules and RP information out of the way first shall we:
Effort- I will be honest here. I won't entertain approaches that have really low-effort put into them. This does not mean you need to write 2000+ word essay that I will grade, nor does it mean you need to make A E S T H E T I C PM for me, but please tell about yourself, your likes, dislikes, your RP style and whatnot. First-impression is always the strongest, and usually determines if I want to even discuss about the RP with the person or not.
Platform(s)- BMR. PMs or threads. Discord is a hard maybe.
Post length/perspective- 3rd-person, past-tense, 2+ paragraphs, usually much more than that. Wish my partner would be able to do the same.
Long / short-term- Preference is on long-term roleplays, however I am open to discuss something shorter as well.
Plot vs. smut- My experience with Pokémon RPs can be divided into two extremes: Only-smut, and extremely lore-accurate and story focused. While I want the story to be in the focus I do wish to see some smut in it too.
Sub/dom, top/bottom- switch and switch. I can exclusively dom or sub as well. Open to pretty much any dynamic here.
Post frequency- Weekly-ish. Since I posted this thread on Holiday-season the times I am online can change wildly and post-frequency on the slower side till the beginning of 2025, but I reply as fast as I can!
Faceclaims- Animanga/manhwa. real-life faceclaims (including realistic renders, art, AI) are a definite no. AI in general is something I really don't like so prefer if you didn't bring AI-refs at all, but if all else fails I am open to consider them.
Writing samples- Feel free to look at my public RPs here, here and here to get a grasp of how I write.
Ghosting- Ghost-friendly. I trust you will reply to me eventually if you want to do so so I won't bother poking either (unless you say it's ok/you wish me to do so).
OOC-chatting/gender- Your OOC-gender does not matter to me, but specify your pronouns if you wish for me to use a specific one. I always love OOC-chatting with my partners!
I am looking for story/adventure focused Pokémon roleplays, with (hopefully) some kind of romance plotline going between MC and YC. This is not set in stone, but I am mainly looking for wholesome adventure where the two characters that we play end up in a romantic relationship together. Despite the Pokémon protags and trainers being extremely young in general in these roleplays they will be 18+ and setting modified to comply with this if need be, and this of course apply to any main-characters we play and any character(s) being involved in anything sexual etc.
As for what roles our characters play in the world I am open to discuss. Could be regular trainer x trainer, maybe a gym-leader x trainer? Professor and their apprentice? Rivals? Maybe enemy (Team Rocket, Explorers etc.) x trainer. Pretty open to various pairings in the world and I am not married to anything too specific here, especially since I have been on a break from Pokémon roleplays for a long while. As long as the roleplay is more than smut, but not so intricate that I need to know whole Bulbapedia to craft you a pleaseing answer we are a-ok.
I am mostly looking sapphic ships, so FxF, FxNB, FxTransF and the likes are on the top of my search-list. I am also unashamedly a fan of girls with penis, so FxFu and even FuxFu are something I really like.
Feminine male-characters are a hard maybe. Not 100% off, but not exactly looking for either.
Since I love unusual pairings and diverse characters being open to different body-types and such is also always a huge plus in my books, but not a must.
My experience with Pokémon
I think this is important thing to address, since we are talking about really expansive franchise.
I am mainly game and anime-person with Pokémon. I have played at least one game from every generation till Sword/Shield (and will start Pokémon Scarlet on 24th), and I am currently watching the new Pokémon 2023 (Horizons) anime series. I've seen first three or four series and handful of movies way back when, but my recollection of those is extremely hazy. I have played some Mystery Dungeon-games and other spin-offs, but not sure if any knowledge on those will be relevant to the RPs at hand.
Answers to some possible questions you might have
Q - Can you play canon-characters?
A - Maybe. If you are looking for 100% accurate representation then no. I can most likely get the basic personalities down to major gym-leaders and other stable-characters from games and anime, but can't give you a perfect representation. Also if you wish to play an OC against a canon-character then it is most likely a no as well. I prefer canon x canon pairings.
As for ships... I don't have any really.
Q - Is Pokephilia allowed?
A - Maybe. I am looking human x human pairings as a main pairing. If we decide that the two want to include the mons into action I am more than open to discuss about it. However in general I am not looking to play only against a Pokémon due to past experiences being extremely underwhelming. In these cases I prefer to share the control of Pokémons.
Q - Are anthro-Pokémons allowed and exception to the Poképhilia rule?
A - If you want to play anthro-Pokémon against my human-character then they are. However I personally have never had any interest to play anthro-Pokémon myself, so you need to look some other partner to fulfill that craving.
Q - Any preference on region/generation you wish to play.
A - Not really. If you have preference we can go with it and discuss about it. I need to recap most of them anyways with the exception of Alola, Galar and Paldea. Three first generations are pretty well etched into my memory as well.
I am also open to become mad-scientists with you and craft something completely original if you want.
Q - How much knowledge on franchise you need from me?
A - Not much. I am getting back into the franchise as well so don't expect my partner know everything. If you know how the world works and the key concepts of the franchise then feel free to send an inquiry on my way!

Here's some plot-seeds and ideas. Most of these are extremely bare-bones ones and simple ones, but I will expand this when I get more ideas, if I have not found a partner by then that is!
Gotta Catch Em All!
This is as basic of a plot as it gets. Our characters start a brand-new journey to become the very best Pokémon trainers like no-one ever was. They get their starter Pokémons and begin their journey from gym-to-gym, earning badges, getting tangled-up in all sort-of sidequests along the way, having some slice of life-moments, fighting against bad-guys and so forth, but this time with a romantic angle and smut thrown into the mix (when the time for it becomes)
So basically just your average Pok'emon game/anime storyline. It is basic, but allows us to craft and plan a lot of interesting things for our characters to do.
For this I am looking for a person who is open to brainstorm and discuss things with me. We can see if we want to base our RP in some specific region, or craft something original.
Breaking the Mirror
Muse 1 is ex-beginner trainer turned into a bad-guy. Their dream of making a name as a Pokémon-trainer/professor/gym-leader failed, and they ended up becoming one of the most notorious villains in their region, now terrorizing the poor people and Pokémon in it.
Muse 2 is starry-eyed new trainer, who ends up encountering the said villain, and ends up giving their group quite a beatdown despite being a total newbie. The fact that this new young adult seems to be extremely talented gets on Muse 1's nerves, and they immediately take them as their target to break down.
However Muse 2 grows stronger, and their rivarly fiercer. As Muse 2 learns more and more about the history of the villain they end up wanting to help them, and get them to quit whatever they are doing, and despite Muse 1 claiming they absolutely hate Muse 2 something about them draws them in, slowly melting the ice around their jaded heart.
Like the first prompt I think this would follows the journey of an aspiring Pokémon Champion, but put the focus on the interaction between them and the villain, and their complicated relationship becoming even more complicated once some romantic feelings start to bud.
Old Dreams Die Hard (plot seed)
Muse 1 is a mature woman, who never really got the chance to go on an Pokémon adventure when they were young, now that they have finally had enough of their nine-to-five job they call it quits and decide to finally fulfill their lifelong-dream and just go to an adventure, tour around different cities with their Pokémon companion and just enjoy life.
And who knows? Maybe on their journey they also stumble into a love of their life, which in this case would be Muse 2... Who is pretty freeform character.
This is a simple plot-seed, which needs quite a bit of planning, but if anyone is interested playing against a mature, older trainer then feel free to hit me up and we can brainstorm!
Note: Since mature-women prompts are like opening Pandora's Box of low-effort pitches do keep in mind that his is not "bang your local MILF" RP invitation! Slow-burn and romantic approaches are what I am looking for here, with smut coming into picture when it feels natural in the story.
