Hello, dear reader!
Recently, I've been bitten by a rare fandom-craving. While I'm usually not a big fan of fandom-settings, that of Game of Thrones/A Song of Ice and Fire is a little bit of an exception. Since I do like my creative freedom and am not terribly interestedin playing as or against canon-characters, I'd rather go for an alternative version of the setting, set somewhere between the death of the last dragons and Robert's Rebellion, conveniently ignoring any canon-events.
(Although drawing some inspiration from characters/events is more than fine with me.)

I'd consider myself pretty familiar with the setting, but I'm by no means a stickler for accuracy, especially since I'm going for a slightly alternative version of the setting here. Regardless, I'm obviously looking for someone who's at least somewhat familair with either the books or the show.

In terms of plots, I will probably add some at a later date.Here, is a wild grab-bag of (admittedly mostly female) character-ideas, but I'd be more than happy to whip up a new plot and character together with a partner.

I should also maybe mention, that I always found the overtly fantasy aspects of GoT the least interesting, so I'd much prefer to focus on the courtly politics, feudal family-drama and power-hungry houses.

Harrion Greyjoy(MC) has always been the least favourite of Lord Greyjoy's sons. The youngest, prettiest and most troublesome. To escape his crowded castle and prove his father wrong, he has spent the last few years across the sea, raiding remote villages, doing mercenary-work in the Free Cities and overall having a good time. On his return to Westeros though, Harrion has to learn, that his father, always eager to expand his house's power and influence, has married him off to a noble Lady from the Mainland (YC). Obviously, YC is not terribly thrilled to be married off to some sea-faring savage from the Iron Islands, as much as MC isn't too happy to be tied down as a husband and Lord on the Mainland....while across the sea, there are still riches and adventures to have...not to speak of all the pretty men and women there.

Only slowly and not without a lot of shouting and broken plates, do the two realize, that they might be a quite good match, becoming partners in crime...​

YC, while born on the Iron Islands, has spend an incredibly boring life. Born as the common son of an innkeep, he didn't spend his youth learning to fight and sail, but instead to wait tables, serve ale and cook a decent fish stew, while attending to sailors and warriors, who lived much more exciting and better lives.

On of these men is Harrion Greyjoy(MC), Lord Greyjoy's youngest son, who often spends time in the tavern, where YC works, before he sets sail to distant shores, or to celebrate his return...And he has taken quite a liking to YC...or at least his body. One day finally, your character gathers the courage to ask the young Lord, if he could join his men...An idea, that Harrion is -surprisingly- willing to humour.​

۞ Brothers-at-Arms ۞

Gareth Fowler(MC), a young knight in the service of the Prince of Dorne, has grown up in a peaceful time. While he's quite capable as a knight, he has never experienced a real battle. Which is about to change. Once again, the Seven Kingdoms are plagued by a civil war and Gareth finds himself riding to proper battle, under the banner of Dorne. And accompanied by YC, an older, more experienced warrior, who has already seen his fair share of bloodshed. And who has, in his gruff way, grown quite fond of the younger knight and is quite eager to keep Gareth alive.
As these two brave knights travel through the realm, playing their roles on the conflict around, they grow quite close. After all, you have to take every chance to take your mind off things and find some comfort and escape from the carnage around you...​

Cedric Hill(MC), the bastard-son of the Lord of Casterly Rock had, for a bastard at least, a rather privileged upbringing. But the options for his future are rather limited. To Cedric's (somewhat questionable) luck, his father pulls some strings to get his illegitimate son into the ranks of the Kingsguard. While Cedric does enjoy the prestige very much, the strict rules and (for the most part) rather boring duties to rub him the wrong way more often than not.

Then, he is assigned as the personal guard to YC, one of the king's more rebellious daughters. And despite some friction, the two slowly grow way closer, than they should be...​
