Upgrading Cell Phones

I've had my phone for over four years and it still works great.
I do think I should upgrade soon but the flagships are so expensive these days and I hate dipping into my savings by that much.
What type of phone do y'all have and for how long?

I just upgraded from an iPhone 8 to an iPhone 15. There was a deal with my carrier that if I traded in my old phone, I got a screaming deal on a new one because of the unlimited data plan I'm on or something. All I know is I barely had to pay anything for the new phone.

It has made such a quality of life upgrade for me that I didn't even really notice. I was like "yeah, whatever, I'll make do" but having a new phone that I don't have to constantly worry about dying or crashing is amazing.

I use stuff until they no longer work/are a pain in the butt to work with. I changed my Redmi for another phone once the battery barely held charge, even while off. It lasted 3 and a half years, more or less.
