As with the title - will be really neat if there is an option that allows the thread setter to grant editing rights to other select users for collab work on posts!

do you mean that someone else should be able to edit a specific post of yours? or all of your posts within a certain thread?

The former, although I wouldn't be opposed to the latter as well, whichever is easier to implement!

i don’t think any is easy, but i am wondering why someone would need to edit your post?

I mean, can’t you make the alterations in the code/text and send the code/post back to them so they can edit/update their post themself?

This just randomly caught my eye.

A use case that I'd take advantage of right now is a WorldBuilding thread that I'd like my partner to be able to update, even if I was the author of a post about an NPC that we share.

That’s pretty much the current solution for the time being.

This is basically google docs reinvented, and is really more for collab work on a post that probably needs frequent updating over time, as with what @obieblu mentioned, for world building purposes, or post that evolves with the play over time. Can be a bit of an extra work if the editor needs to constantly go through the medium (thread owner) all the time when making edits.

This is really more a luxury request, which is a nice to have, assuming it’s not too much work to implement. Otherwise, it’s no biggie!

i can understand how that would be convenient in scenarios like that, yes. but i’ll assume it’s a big ass code job πŸ˜…πŸ™ˆ
