Short Plot:

After years of bloody work in the shadows, a skilled hitman finally retired, his thirst for vengeance quenched by avenging his wife's murder. With his enemies eliminated, he seeks a quieter life, but the echoes of his past won’t let him go. Guilt, grief, and the scars of his violent history haunt him as he struggles to rebuild his humanity. In this vulnerable state, he crosses paths with someone who stirs something in him—a chance at connection, redemption, or something deeper. But the line between his past and present is perilously thin, and when danger resurfaces, he must decide: protect the fragile new bond he's found, or disappear back into the shadows?

Scenarios to Choose From:

1. Small-Town Sanctuary
The hitman relocates to a sleepy town, taking up a modest job at a local bookstore or mechanic shop, where he meets a kind but wary individual (your partner’s character). They bond over shared grief or loneliness, unaware that the hitman's past is closing in. As they grow closer, his old enemies track him down, forcing him to protect his newfound connection.

Intimate Setting: Cozy conversations over coffee in the bookshop after hours, repairing an old motorcycle together, or sharing guarded stories about their lives during a quiet evening in the garage.

---

2. The Neighbor Next Door
The hitman moves into a run-down apartment complex, keeping to himself until his neighbor (your partner’s character) unexpectedly pulls him into their world—maybe they need help with a broken lock, or their cat sneaks into his apartment. They form an unlikely friendship that teeters on something more, but as the hitman begins to soften, mysterious strangers start asking questions about him in the building.

Intimate Setting: Late-night talks on a shared balcony overlooking the city, hesitant but tender touches while patching up a wound, or quiet nights watching movies as they each confront their loneliness.

---

3. The One Who Knew Her
The partner’s character could be a mutual acquaintance of the hitman’s deceased wife—an old friend, coworker, or even a family member. They meet unexpectedly and find solace in reminiscing about her. As they grow closer, secrets about the hitman’s past come to light, testing the fragile bond they’ve formed.

Intimate Setting: Candlelit moments of shared grief, flipping through old photo albums and lingering too long on a glance, or long walks in the rain where they finally begin to trust one another.
