I know it's short but along with a comment made me imagine a fantasy epic based on three heroes at first or arc types of we got more bites. I'll either play a young noble inheriting a throne from his father in the middle of a losing war and dying kingdom trying to recover from his dad's mistakes or a young noble that along with his friends helps raise the people to help over throw a tyrant and become king. That leaves the soldier and poet. Where you take those is yo to you..
Soldier: there will come a soldier who weilds a mighty sword. He will tear your city down.
Are you a young recruit hoping to rise through the ranks and be a hero or great general? Or maybe your a seasoned general or knight already doing his best to fulfill his duty to the kingdom. Or are the best friend of the Lord who grew up and trained with hi only for your paths to split. When he became king though you were chose to be his kings guard and champion split between friendship and duty willing to die for him. You can even be a revolutionary or enemy soldier though having all sides working together first helps the story.
Poet: there will a come a poet whose weapon is his word. He will slay you with his tongue.
Are you a writer in the village seeing the people struggle and write to inspire them?A wandering bard seeking to make great stories come to life? What purpose does your art serve to help the kingdom rise or bring change? You can choose any artist in this arc type and thier motivation but for the first three helping save the people from the struggle .
Lord: there will come a man whose crown is laid with thorns, his brow is smeared with oil like David's boy.
At first I'll play this role but after the first three roles are set and more come we can have other nobles or ruler's show with their own motivation will it be to help or sabotage the war.
