Hi all, thanks for checking out my thread.
My name is Zach, I’m 32 years old and based on the East Coast US. While I’m brand new to the site, I’ve been writing for many years - working both on solo projects and collaborative 1x1 partnered RP situations and it has remained a big part of how I spend my free time throughout most of my life. In joining BMR, my hope is to find a few like-minded partners that want to write together - preferably on a long-term basis.

Like most of us, I do value smut in a role play but I do get fatigued pretty quickly if it's just jumping from sex scene to sex scene. Ideally I'm looking for someone interested in a pairing with a good balance of smut/plot

- I only RP with people 18+
- BMR PMs, Discord, or Email.
- I prefer longer, slightly slower posts rich with detail versus rapid fire back and forth.
- For an RP that I'm invested in with beefier posts, I'll respond at minimum once a day unless something goes terribly wrong. I'm not pressed about how fast you respond as long as you're communicative. If I know I'm waiting 4 or 5 days for the next post, then cool, but try to let me know if possible.
- I usually prefer to play more dominant characters, but this isn't a must.
- I usually prefer for my characters to top, but this isn't a must.
- I'll play against all sorts of guys, masc, fem, something in between. I'm inclusive of trans men.
- I strongly dislike using faceclaims for my characters, but you're welcome to use them for yours if you'd like to.
- I strongly dislike playing against people that expect me to be the sole driver of action/plot. There's a difference between playing a submissive character and playing someone who is so passive that I struggle to come up with content for my posts. If your posts are 100% reacting to my character and you don't take initiative to move things forward now and then, we're probably not the best fit.

In Vino Veritas - Ancient Rome, Vineyard Owner x Manservant/Slave
A cool spring breeze drifted lazily through the open marble doors, gently tousling the dark hair of a bear of a man who was currently sleeping off last night's indulgences. His hairy chest and rounded belly rose rhythmically as he snored, stubbled face contorting in a grimace as the midday sun's intrusion threatened his slumber. With a deep yawn, his weary eyes fluttered open as his hand fumbled for the jug of water on the side table. Lifting it to his lips, he drank greedily, rivulets of water dripping downwards to catch in the mess of hair that adorned his naked midsection. With a satisfied grumble, he turned his attention back to the silently sleeping man that was spooned up against his body.
"It's the afternoon, my love. We mustn't wile away the day as tempting as that may be"
A large hand ran down the smooth, olive back of the younger male, coming to rest on his bare ass and lovingly giving it a little tap. A smirk flitted mischievously across his lips as an exploratory finger worked its way betwixt the cleft and pressed gently on the tight ring of muscle within, eliciting a groan of protest from his bedmate who was suddenly very much awake.
Cassius chortled and rolled his large frame out of bed, stretching muscled arms to the sky, unabashed in his nakedness.
"Relax, boy. I've far too much a headache to rut right now. I was just teasing."
The vineyard owner offered a genuine smile and lifted his hand to his lips, blowing a kiss of reassurance towards the manservant who was now kneeling among the scattered sheets of his master's bedding.
"Well, chop chop, let's get me bathed and dressed and started with the day, even if said day is half over."
He gestured towards the wardrobe and cocked a brow expectantly.
"It's the afternoon, my love. We mustn't wile away the day as tempting as that may be"

My Character: A wealthy Roman vineyard owner, mid 40's-early 50's
Your Character: A younger male servant/slave who personally attends MC - taking care of his various needs.
The way I've pictured this situation is MC is married to a woman and has children, but she turns a blind eye to his "extracurricular activities" as long as Cassius keeps her comfortable. There's definitely a power differential in this pairing, but the way I imagined it playing out was MC being very much enamored with YC rather than rough or mean. Obviously he expects obedience but in return YC enjoys the perks that come along with being the manor owner's favorite toy.
Alternatively, if you're into it, we can do some sort of dubcon/noncon angle to it. I'm a sucker for some romance tho, even if the premise is a little bit twisted.

A finger quickly tapped the side button, turning the illuminated screen black, and he held his breath in the darkness as he turned his gaze over to the sleeping woman beside him. She stirred slightly, burying her head deeper in the pillow, but seemed to be asleep.
Shit that was close. Goddamn app.
Carefully, Jared extricated himself from the bed he shared with his girlfriend, padding gently across the bedroom carpet towards the en suite bathroom of their tiny apartment. He closed the door behind him and flicked on the lights in the wall sconce above the mirror, sitting down on the toilet and reawakening the phone that had almost outed him.
He quickly tapped the app labeled "Grindr", opening the black and yellow interface to a grid of men nearby – some with a blank DL profile like his, and others, who were more honest and open regarding their proclivities, either smiling or showing off in various states of undress.
Looks like someone tapped me…hmm
He swiped around the profile, exploring the pics and stats of the man that had expressed interest. He didn't know why, but the "straight" thing was very much a turn on for certain dudes. I really enjoy playing with the idea of a "straight" guy that's probably not exactly "straight" but convinces himself that it's not gay if he tops. This plot is inherently based around the sexual encounters, but there's huge potential for a longterm RP here. Character growth/development as MC struggles with his sexuality / attraction to YC, the drama of sneaking around behind his girlfriend's back. With enough creativity it's really juicy and there's a lot more potential than just writing sex scene after sex scene. This pairing does lend itself well to doubling, if you're perhaps willing to play MC's girlfriend as well I could come up with a side character too - that's totally optional though.

This is kind of a "psychological thriller / horror" plot where MC1 is kinda-sorta obsessed with YC and hatches a plan to "taste the forbidden fruit" so-to-speak. MC1 comes across evidence that YC is embezzling money from his job, and uses this information to anonymously blackmail YC into meeting late at night at a local motel. When YC walks in, MC1 is sitting in an armchair wearing a ski mask with his pants down around his ankles. If YC wants to keep his job, he better put that pretty mouth to work...

When I do this plot I usually play both MC1 and MC2, with MC2 being more of a side presence.

YC: MC2's fiance/husband

The premise of this is that MC was born to a teen mom who had to give him up for adoption because she didn't have the resources to raise a baby. Your character is born to the same mom, 10-15 years later, who is now enjoying an upper-middle class lifestyle (the two men have different dads).
MC ends up bouncing around foster care and never really has a permanent home environment. He falls in with a bit of a rough crowd, and ends up down on his luck - using the name of his mother to locate her new pad. He shows up on the doorstep, with no money to his name, hoping for a place to crash, only to have the door opened by his mom's "new" son - the one living a cushy life that could have been MC's.

Basically there's inherently a source of conflict and drama, with MC having a lot of anger and resentment towards the hand he'd been dealt and grief over what his life could have been. This is probably best written as a slow-burn thing where nothing sexual happens for quite a while, but as the relationship gets closer it eventually can take a romantic/sexual turn.
