Hello, and thanks for stopping by my request thread!
I'm a male writer looking for a female partner to dive into stories that capture the wild, over-the-top drama of a trashy TV show. Ideally they would be funny and silly as well. We can sometimes have taboo themes in the messy stories where the characters emotions run high. Normal people make choices to avoid messy drama but these characters would dive right in with little desire for self preservation. Think steamy affairs, dark family secrets, and plenty of twists and turns along the way.
A few general ideas
Here would be be some examples of the type of things that I would think would be fun.
Historical Drama: One idea is that there is an arranged marriage. It could be between kingdoms or just noble families. Everything seems fine except one partner falls for the other's sibling? What a mess that would be. Maybe two characters find themselves trapped in a web of family secrets and forbidden romance.
Fantasy Setting: A character's spouse is kidnapped by bandits, and in desperation, they turn to an adventurer for help. However they can't afford it so they find a scoundrel. Lacking funds, they're forced to offer themselves as payment. It could be a story where the spouse is at the mercy of an attractive, dominant adventurer.
Step sibling Drama: Two wealthy/widowed celebrities/royalty/ect get married and merge their families. Because everyone pays too much attention to the new family, the parents tell their children to be on their best behavior. The parents probably would be ok with whatever relationship develops between the two and the scandal it might create.
These are just examples; I'm totally open to hearing your ideas, too! The key for me is that the story is full of juicy, trashy drama with characters that are flawed and fascinating.
Other Preferences
Writing Style: I'm looking for someone who is fine with writing around 200-500 words.
Tone: I love stories that are a mix of humor, drama, and emotions.
Communication: I like to chat OOC to discuss ideas, plot twists, and where the story could go next.
Boundaries and Limits: Since some themes might get intense, feel free to say what your boundaries/limits are. Always make sure you are comfortable with where the story is going.
If you're interested feel free to send me a message! Looking forward to brainstorming and creating something unforgettable together.
