This is a constant work in progress. I will be fiddling around with the thread. I'll be editing, removing and adding things as I see fit to any of the below sections.ABOUT THIS THREAD
A bit about me...
- I live in the GMT+2 Time Zone.
- I love dark romance, fantasy settings mixed either with medieval/victorian or modern periods, slow burns , character obsession and possessiveness, Stockholm syndrome + Lima syndrome, as well as more immoral characters.
- I have 5 years of experience, consistently write between 400-1200 words depending on the plot and my own partners length. Sometimes I can find to go even over that.
- No real life face claims! I know booo but I just find it uncomfortable to do and had bad experience with it.
- Third person only for the main story! I am willing to work with many different preferences and lengths.
- I am looking for long-term plots that keep us interested. If week goes by between posts, that is fine! Having something that we are both excited to create and write about. Of course, life happens, and if someone has to end the RP or take a pause upon it, no big deal. Usually however if a month or two passes by without a reply I might lose interest.

Charlie's sure that something is watching her. More than sure, actually, it’s not anything so small as a hunch or a feeling . No, it’s a bone-deep fear. This is what the antelope feels when it sees the flickering cheetah in the grass, this is that swooping feeling in your stomach when you trip while holding something valuable. Impending doom coming from above like some hawk on wide wings against a small, shivering rabbit.
And the worst part is- Charlie knows that she cannot do a single thing about it.
Running won’t help. The woman is merely sitting on the edge of her bed at the moment, and the silence makes the presence ever stronger, but it follows. Followed her on the road, to her friends’ house, to work. Charlie tried to lose it, dove into crowds of people, taken winding roads at breakneck speed. Nothing helps. It’s almost like this creature is perched upon her shoulder, hands clenched on her head, and wherever she goes, it’s attached as a parasite. Some twisted version of a guardian angel, always following, never benevolent.
Charlie tried fighting it , swiping the air around her body with knives, searching for invisible foes with their gleaming tips. Used her hands when those didn’t work, perhaps bare flesh would reveal something that cold metal could not.
Nothing.
And, eventually, Charlie tried to speak to it. Threats, pleads, sugary-sweet flattering. This, maybe, has had the most tangible effect. Tangible in that once, after she broke into tears, she felt the cold brush of wind. Not something remarkable but for the fact that Charlie was standing in her windowless bathroom.
Caressing across her cheek, lingering under the chin. Soft. It did nothing but bring a fresh wave of tears.
And the worst part is- Charlie knows that she cannot do a single thing about it.

PLOTS
What does one do when one's husband refuses to acknowledge her own existence beyond what is strictly necessary to secure his throne? Drive him absolutely insane.
YC was raised to be the perfect ruler, nothing more and nothing less. He lives, breathes and sleeps his work, and as such, he takes it very seriously. Which is why he does not hesitate to agree to an arranged marriage with a princess from a kingdom that his father had been hoping to ally with--mostly for trade and reasons of power. This is where MC comes in.
MC had heard the rumors about YC. How he never seemed to smile, was always cold and stoic to a fault and was an absolute workaholic. Needless to say, based on what she knew, she wasn't thrilled about the match. However, she knew from a young age that this was her destiny, to marry someone of her father's choosing for the betterment of her kingdom and people. He certainly could have picked far worse; she had friends whose fathers had. So MC goes into it with an open mind and with the intention of coming to some sort of compromise--she was determined to make this marriage at least a content one.
YC, to keep the peace, humors mine when she comes into his office, mere days before the wedding, and asks that they talk about their expectations for this marriage. YC is a logical man with his duty and work at the forefront of his mind. From his perspective, MC's purpose in his life is twofold: to secure an alliance with her kingdom and to have her secure his place as next in line and (eventually) on the throne by providing him with an heir and at least one spare. Beyond that, he wants nothing to do with MC. Or anyone, really.
Of course, he's smart enough not to tell her this, but MC eventually finds out--after the wedding--that he had mislead her. Whether she overhears a conversation she wasn't supposed to hear or simply learns through his behavior towards her, she now knows how YC views her. And she is done trying to play nice.
From then on, she is basically doing what she thinks is right by her, him and their future children, and damn his opinion because, clearly, he didn't give a damn about her's. Suddenly, she's coming to bother him during his working hours, insisting he go to bed when he'd rather work until the wee hours in the morning, asking him questions about himself and his childhood, trying to get him to spend time with her. And even worse, he actually finds her attractive and infuriatingly distracting to the point he sometimes acts without thinking.
In other words, MC is just going to be teasing and tormenting YC until he realizes that there is more to life than duty and work. MC will also have her own character arc, but it will definitely be a bit more subtle.
It's supposed to be mostly light-hearted and silly. Although, we can add reason for YC's attitude and coldness towards people such as it can stem from his upbringing. For example pictur his father as a ladies' man and workaholic who basically neglected his kids until they were old enough to be useful to him. Family dinners weren't a thing. YC's mother was also out of the picture (either because she decided she couldn't stand YC's father or maybe she passed away for some reason or another). We can include YC having a brother that's a complete flirt and often tries to make him jealous by flirting with MC and threatening to take her from him, and MC having a sister would be good for whence she need confinement in one when she couldn't get it from her husband. Obviously, these ideas are simply that, ideas. You can make YC's backstory whatever you want.
I do see their relationship being hostile then more flirtatious/sexual at first (mostly hate sex or just passionate moments between the two) that slowly eases into something that is actually somewhat healthy. We're dealing with two stubborn characters that are scared of being vulnerable and a lot of things happen merely because of miscommunication or misunderstanding. Long term, I do think YC's father and brother could be potential sources of conflict in addition to the conflict between our two characters.

MC has volunteered sacrificial bride of their dark ruler, dark lord or god to save her sister from such fate. Whether YC is a lord that conquered their land long ago, a demon or dark god who enjoys in delight of chaos and fear. Each decade their clan must offer up a maiden sacrifice to sate the hunger of YC and keep their land under protection.
Of course, MC has no desire to die nor offer herself up like a lamb ready to go down pleading or crying. Against her will but done in order to protect her sister, she is escorted from her home before the tyrant that eagerly awaits for new toy and plaything until he would eventually tire of it like those many before, or before he end up breaking her just like others.

MC is a princess/royal/noble lady who has never married despite being quite young and beautiful. By all accounts, she's free spirited and likes to play games on her suiters. Her newest and cruelest game is that if the suitor can catch an Pamola -an four winged silver feathered bird that is known for it's intellect , sharp feathers and speed, and obtain the key from around its foot that matches the one that she wears around her own within the month, then she would accept their proposal. None have ever gotten close. Being left without an coin from seeds wasted and cuts.
Her own family is growing tired of her games and they force her to meet with their final choice of a suitors among which would be your character who by chance can happen to discover the solution to her task , be it by observing the young noble when she'd interact with said bird or by another path.

MC has been sold to a brothel many years ago. Her poor parents could barely afford to feed her or her siblings, and it was either she go or one of her siblings. MC, being the oldest, reluctantly volunteered, hoping the establishment would simply use her as a servant girl, not as one of their courtesans. Unfortunately for her, the head mistress saw promise, and virgins tended to make good money. She had one of the other courtesans take her under her wing for a short while before MC would end building up an reputation as one of the most high held and valuable courtesans. Taking class in more then just offering the service of flesh. Entertaining the guest through dancing, music, conversation and other arts.
YC could be a variety of different roles. But mostly am hoping and looking for something of either royal, general, or champion and such. He's there to drink with friends, celebrate or to escape from whatever burden could weight on him--. Maybe he's a half-demon, a human, elf, a pure blood demon or vampire. Regardless, something about MC catches his eye, and he ends up buying her for the night.

This one is still a fresh idea, so there would need to be plenty of mutual plotting.
One day, a town begins suffering vicious attacks from shadow creatures. Destroying crop, slaughtering animals, even murdering the residents. A sweet maiden was promised to a Demonic overlord. She was to marry him, bringing peace to her home, ending the attacks. Terrified of facing a life with a cruel being, she fled before he could take her. Was he as evil as the rumors said? She never took the time to find out. Only, the demon knew exactly what she looked like. They had met once before (we could do this scene a flashback or prelude). He knew how feverishly he wanted her, and that fated meeting was the exact reason she had been chosen to marry him. Perhaps he staged the attacks so the village would turn to him for protection.
Once she fled, the demon pursued her. His abilities were unique, and he pursued her through body jumping, masking his form or by possessing mortals and expanding his control throughout the pursuit, until she finally fell into his snare. Misguided by one she believed was helping her, a golden cuff was snapped on her wrist, binding her to the demon.
Was he as evil and cruel as everyone said? Was the maiden doomed to face a miserable marriage? How would the demon cope with knowing his mortal wife and lover would perish so young compared to his immortal life.
I also like the idea of incorporating him coming to her in her dreams each night.
Lots of room for plotting on this one!
