Hello!
I'm having a craving for a particular dynamic. I want to build tension between our characters, and I want the moment that that tension snaps to be breathtaking. So, are you going to be up to the challenge?
I'm not necessarily looking for a slow burn, but an intense one. I don't know if our characters just met and we've got some love at first sight vibes, or if they've known each other for years and their relationship is changing, but for whatever reason, they can't give in to their feelings for each other. They are constantly fighting the yearning that they have to be with the other person, until one day something happens that causes their control to snap.
I am open to any ideas you have if my thoughts have given you inspiration, otherwise I'll throw down a couple ideas for what we're dealing with.
YC is good friends with MC's older brother. Let's say they're college aged, my character is a freshman at your college and maybe she's always had a crush on your character but he's only seen her as his best friend's kid sister. Resigned to her fate, she doesn't expect anything to come from going to the same college as YC, but then her brother tells YC to watch out for her since he's at a different college. As they spend more time together, feelings grow between them, but YC knows MC's brother would never forgive YC if he dared touch his little sister

Our characters work together, we'll have to decide where, and it's against office policy to have relationships with co-workers. They've seen each other on occasion in the office, but they just got assigned to work a project together and now they're stuck in close quarters on a regular basis. The attraction they felt in passing is nothing like it is now that they're stuck working closely together.
If we want to go a little darker...
My character is in a bag relationship. Either emotionally or physically abusive, and when our two characters meet, there's clear chemistry between them. If you want to do college aged, they can maybe meet up in a class they have together, or if they're older, maybe they somehow have a mutual friend or something and they happen to meet up again later and eventually YC finds out not only that MC is in a relationship, but it's a bad one. YC tries to be friends with MC and just support her through everything, but it's hard when YC knows how he would treat MC if given the chance. Can he stand by long enough to help her see she deserves better?
Anywho, if you have any ideas of your own, please feel free to throw them my way!
