Hello, everyone! I am looking to start roleplays with more of an emphasis on building interesting stories with my potential partners. There can still be smutty scenes, but I’d rather they were further apart than perhaps many people here are used to — anything from a 70/30 to 90/10 story-to-smut split, depending on your own preferences.

I do enjoy smut as much as anyone else, I just like to build up enough tension between sexual/big romantic scenes, and I feel like an engaging plot makes the eventual release more exciting. That and I just like a good story, you know? I’m not judging anyone that likes pure smut at all, I just personally get bored by it rather quickly, so I don’t think we’d be compatible.

My timezone is EST, I tend to prefer multi-paragraph entries, I’d rather roleplay in private (DMs and/or Discord rather than in Threads), I’ll be on fairly frequently and I don’t mind OOC chat

Characters & Dynamics​

I’m primarily interested in OC x OC stories. Depending on the character I might be open to OC x Canon, but I’m really only interested in playing as OCs myself.

I’d like my character to be male, and I’d rather avoid any polyamory/open relationships/love triangles/cheating etc. As far as romantic pairings go, I’m here for the one-on-one stuff. I can, however, also play side characters, because it’s kind of impossible to have a strong story with only two people. Ideally, we’d both be playing background characters as needed.

I’m very flexible when it comes to your character. You can play men, women, trans, nonbinary, androgynous – anything, really. I’m bi, so I’m really not picky lmao.

I like all sorts of character dynamics as long as they’re done well. I don’t have any particular inclination towards dom or sub. I love creating OCs and learning about other people’s OCs; seeing them gradually develop a rapport with each other and go through their own character arcs is all great fun.

I don’t have any pre-made characters — I like to think up a character from scratch for each RP, but I don’t mind at all if you have a pre-existing OC of your own that you’d rather insert.

We can do slowburn, fast…burn (?), established relationship, friends to lovers, enemies to lovers. I’m mostly up for anything…Just no incest.

Worlds & Settings

One of my favourite things to do is to work with someone to create our own setting, and to then gradually flesh it out during the roleplay. However, it’s also fun to just take our characters and plop them down in a world we’re both already familiar with.

So, at the bottom of this post I’ll have a section for potential plot ideas. One will be fandom focused, and will list various media properties and rough concepts to suit those universes.

The other part will feature small ideas for original plots that we can expand on together And if you have any original ideas of your own, I’d love to hear them!

Broadly speaking, I can’t get enough of universes with quirky premises and systems. I love stories that have batshit crazy elements to them, but still take themselves seriously. Genre mashups are also fun, as are purposely anachronistic settings.

Original Settings:

•Washed-Up Evil Villain x Loyal Minion:

I’m imagining a stereotypical dark lord that has been beaten by various heroes so many times that they’ve mostly given up. Their massive ominous looking castle got repossessed and they live in, like, a studio apartment now. They had to sell their throne of skulls online to pay their rent this month. Their army of minions has left and they just have the one left. I like the idea of someone in flowing dark robes, with a crystal staff propped up against the arm of their couch, sulking and watching Netflix with a tub of ice cream, and the one minion they have left is all “C’mon, boss! It’s okay! You’ll get them next time! “

So, the whole story would be about them trying to get the evil empire back up and running. Obviously lots of comedic elements, and probably a fantasy setting. Maybe modern fantasy?

•Grim Reaper x Grim Reaper, but it’s treated like a dayjob.

Could be either work rivals, or partners. Reaping human souls and sending them off to the afterlife, but in an office setting. You get paid better depending on the quality/quantity of the souls you harvest. If, say, a cruiseship crashes, everyone in the office rushes to get in on that because there’s so many souls in one place. Similarly, if a celebrity dies everyone wants to be the one to pick them up because it looks good on their resume. Lots of playful dark humour potential.

•Mad Scientist x Frankenstein-like creation.

Someone is desperate to find someone to settle down with but is horribly awkward and bad at finding dates. The only logical solution is to then pick apart a bunch of bodies, selectively stitch the best parts together, and then bring it to life with lightning. Like a morbid Build-A-Bear.

•Magical Western?

Maybe we’re both part of a gang of outlaws, maybe we’re on opposite sides of the law, maybe we’ve both come together under other strange circumstances. I just like the idea of cowboys riding dragons like horses and shooting spells from their revolvers. Could also do space pirates instead, like in Treasure Planet.

•Shady government agents

‘Men in black’ types, dedicated to investigating and dealing with paranormal/irregular situations, ala Twin Peaks, X-Files, the game Control etc

-We’re both rookie pirates who meet up and decide to form a crew together? Maybe we’re Marines instead?

-Playing a meister/weapon duo could be really fun.

-You play the protagonist. I play the love interest, our group of friends AND Ghostface, and I don’t tell you who the killer is beforehand.

•Bloodborne
-Two hunters – maybe in rival covenants?
-Vileblood x Executioner
-Hunter of hunters x Blood-addled Powder Keg

•Pokémon
-Both members of the Elite Four?
-Duo that shares a single braincell in a group of villains, like Jessie and James, failing their way to the top of the organization

•JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure
-Descendant of Joestars x Descendant of Dio
-Stand Users joining up to start a gang like in Part 5

•Ace Attorney
-One of us plays defence attorney, the other one plays prosector, with the prosector also playing the Judge and witnesses in court to simulate cases

•Final Fantasy 15
-I do mean 15 specifically, by the way lmao. I’m not really familiar with the rest of the series. FFXV is the only one that got its hooks in me for whatever reason
