Roxanne was a girl at the young age of eighteen and she had just started college a few months ago. Her and her best friend Alexander were attending the same school, but for two completely different majors. He was going for a chemist major and she was going for a visual communications major. Roxy had just finished her classes for the day and was outside waiting for him like she always did. She pulled out her phone and text messaged him. It read: 'Hey, where are you at? I'll come to you and did you want to go get coffee or go back to your place or something?' She knew their classes were in separate buildings, but she couldn't remember what building he was in. As she waited for him to answer she leaned against the wall of the building.

Roxy had long chocolate colored brown hair that was curly and she had beautiful Emerald green eyes. Today her long hair was pulled back into a pony tail and she was wearing a pair of dark wash jeans and a black tank top. In her ears were a pair of purple ear buds, coming from them was the sound of rock music at a low volume. Around her neck was a gold chain with a gold star and a white gold crescent moon on the end of it and in her ears were a pair of white gold hoops. As she waited Roxy would look at her phone every few seconds, anxiously awaiting a reply from him.
 
It wasn't like he'd intended to miss every single one of his morning classes, but he'd simply lost track of time. In his major, he'd gotten an idea. A love potion that could make any girl fall completely in love with the first person she sees after drinking it. Well, it wasn't quite a 'love' potion as it was a 'lust' potion. It would drive the girl wild, he just hoped that it would be focused enough that it wouldn't drive her toward any guy. His calculations and experiments thus far had so far been promising, so he figured he'd take it to the next step, his 'best friend' Roxy. He'd always loved her, since they were kids, but she'd never seemed to love him back. That was the whole reason he'd ended up trying this little elaborate experiment, that one girl.

When his phone vibrated and beeped in his pocket, he blinked himself out of his concentration. Roxy had texted him, rather unhappily, about his whereabouts. Cleaning up his dorm room, he sent her a text back. 'Yeah, sorry, I kinda slept in after a late night. Want to come over for a bit?' After he'd finished sending the text, he'd cleaned up any and all evidence of his late night last night, pocketing the small vial of a pink liquid.
 
Roxy smiled when a response from Alex finally came through on her phone. As she read the text message she was a bit shocked to read that he had missed his morning classes. She replied:'Sure, I'll be over there in about ten minutes. Love you.' It was something she always said to him, but of course she only meant it in a friendly way. Roxanne had never loved him as more and as far as she knew she never would. But, she didn't know what Alexander had spent all night working on nor did she know that he planned to use it on her. The dorms weren't far from where she was and Alex's dorm wasn't too far from her's so it probably wouldn't even take her ten minutes. She straightened up from where she had been leaning against the building and began walking to his dorm.

It took her about seven or so minutes to get from the building she had started at to his dorm and she knocked at the door and while waiting for Alex to open the door. She had a key to the door, he had one to her dorm too, but she only used the one he had given her when he wasn't home and she had left something at his dorm or something to that effect. While she waited she took her ear buds out, wrapping them around her mp3 player before sticking it back into her pocket.
 
He had to make sure that everything was put away and out of sight, which wasn't a particularly easy task to do, since the dorm room was rather small enough as it was. Luckily, he'd a single room and was in there alone so his experimenting wasn't interrupted or compromised. He was the only one who knew about his devious little plan, and all it required was slipping her a tasteless liquid and finding out what happened after that. It seemed simple enough, but if he screwed it up and she figured it out, he'd lose her forever. On the other side of that coin, if it worked out the way he'd intended, she'd be his... in more than one way.

She was a little bit early, so just as he was putting the last of his things away, he jumped a little bit. Checking himself in the mirror one last time, he opens the door with a smile. Letting her in, he closes the door again behind her.

"Hey, Roxy. So, how about a movie before our study group tonight?" Adell asks her with a smile. "I could make some pop corn and sodas and we could just hang out for a while." He offers, his tail swaying happily.
 
"A movie sounds great. As does pop corn and soda." Roxy said with a smile, taking him up on his offer. They had three hours or so before the study group was planned to start and a movie sounded like a perfect way to kill some time. She walked over to his couch and sat down, sitting her school bag beside the couch for now. When Roxanne walked past Alex she saw his tail swaying happily behind him and smiled to herself, knowing it was a sign that he was happy to see her. "What movie are we going to watch, though?" She asked as she looked over at him. As Roxy waited for an answer in the back of her mind she wandered what had kept her best friend up so late that he missed every one of his morning classes. She told herself that studying had been what kept him up so late. Of course, she didn't know anything about the potion he had spent last night working on.
 
Adell simply turned the TV on and flipped the cable onto whatever movie happened to be playing on the premium channels. It didn't seem bad, so he left it. Making the popcorn first, he handed her the large bowl of buttered and salted treats. Going back to the fridge, he made sure that she was watching the TV and not him while he fixed their sodas. Pouring two glasses, he slipped the liquid into her own, dissolving colorlessly and tastelessly into the soda. Handing her the soda with the lust potion in it, he sits next to her, trying not to show any outward signs of being anxious.
 
As he went into the kitchen she stayed where she was on the couch with her eyes on the television as Roxanne tried to get into the movie that was on. Even as he made the popcorn Roxy didn't seem to be paying much attention to him, figuring if he would have like some help he would have asked for it. Even once the popcorn was done and in a bowl as she was handed the bowl full of it Roxy continued to look at the screen. While she waited for her soda she munched on the bowl of salty pop corn, the way she was eating it she would have a considerable amount of that potion inside her to work it's magic in no time. Even as Alex made the drinks her eyes stayed on the movie. By the time he handed the soda to her, Roxanne's mouth was beginning for something to drink because all of the salty pop corn she ate. She took several small sips, stopping when the glass was about a fourth empty.

Several minutes after that Roxy began to find it hard to focus on the movie as the potion began to work it's magic on her and thoughts and images filled her head: the thoughts were of Alexander and her being more than friends and the images were of different things like the two of them kissing or just laying together cuddling.
 
Alex sat back in the couch, watching the movie. He tried to focus on it to distract himself from the fact that she was drinking his experiment and he'd have no idea how well it would work, or if at all. He would idly eat at the popcorn and drink his soda, but he couldn't help his tail flicking a little nervously every once in a while. He couldn't tell what she was thinking and there wasn't a change in her scent, so nothing major must've happened yet. Alex was just glad that she didn't feel the need to wear perfume around him. At least that way, he could gauge by her scent how she was reacting to the love potion.
 
As Alex sat back in the couch and watched the movie she also sipped at her spiked drink. The more of it Roxanne drank the less interested she became in the movie and the more interested she became in Alex. Along with that her scent was beginning to slowly change. By the time about half of her soda was gone it was clear that Alex's experimental love potion was working. In fact, it seemed as if it had been perfectly designed to bring out all the things in her that her best friend wanted to see. When Roxy looked at Alex there was a look in her eyes that had never been there before when she was looking at him; a look of love and longing for him. With the glass of spiked soda still in her hand she moved closer to her friend, only stopping when she was right next to him. The potion had worked it's magic and had created feelings within her for Alex. Roxanne rested her head on his shoulder and looked up at him. "Why don't we turn off the movie and go find something else to do?" She suggested before lifting her head and kissing him on the cheek.
