The Last Video Game You Finished

How would you compare it to other games you've played? Is it one worth looking into?
I've played the series besides Double Exposure and 2. Some of these games seem polarizing. I thought Before the Storm was really good, and True Colors was good in my opinion, probably because Alex was so cute.

2 drags a bit, but I think it's good enough. And the community seems to consider this one the one where your decisions matter the most. Which is good. Plus, male protagonists, which I don't think have happened in any other LIS game.

Well, thanks for the description and opinion on this particular game. It's good to know that this series stands out and Square Enix must've put a lot of effort to get very good reviews.

Even though I wouldn't play, you got ahead and enjoy for sure.
Grew up on the older games from the 90s (yep, even when Floppy disks were used, along with having multiple CDs to install 1 game...)

Just played an awful little game called Pool Hop. It sucked. Don't buy it. Don't play it. Back to the Expedition I go.

Finished Expedition 33 yesterday. I loved it, 10/10. I just hope that Clair Obscur becomes a series of games, as it seems that Expedition 33 is but a piece of that giant world.

Myself- Just got through Sigil with Doom. How do I put it? They throw you in the deep end… of the lava. Even John Romero found it harder than the original Doom.

Glad to hear it was worth playing Seranda. Who knows about the game expanding - only a matter of time if the popularity increases and has the potential.
It’s one of the best games I’ve played. It’s sales speak for itself.

It’s a game made by a small studio.
No microtransactions aside from an outfit set.
The most beautiful music in gaming and I will argue anyone.
Engrossing story.
Excellent voice acting.
“Active” turn based combat allowing dodges and parries and more.
A full package game at a lower price than retail.
Stunning environments and character models and animations.
Captivating art direction for outfits, locations and monsters.
Assists for those who don’t like challenging games but want to see the story through.
A cast of characters where I honestly, loved every single character, minor or major.

Game of the Year. Easily.

Last game I beat was...
Persona 2: Innocent Sin (10/10 would kill Hitler and his bat-dick again). I plan to start on Persona 2: Eternal Punishment next.

Before that it was, like Seranda above me, Expedition 33. I've got much the same hopes for the Clair Obscur world.

I won a game of Stellaris. Played as the Commonwealth of man. And my first and biggest threat was the Federation of Earth. They were shown less mercy than the Xeno.

The last game I finished would have to be Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks. I had had the game for years now and only recently have gotten back to it and completed it. The final boss was rather annoying at the end where you have to deflect all those fireballs. Additionally, then you had to do the song by blowing into the 3DS mic which left me lightheaded. Still, glad I finally completed it.

See, that’s what needs to be ideal in newer games these days. Seeing screenshots, looks like a AAA game, but after reading your points of what makes it stand out, I honestly didn’t think it would be made from a small studio.

Appreciate you going into detail why it’s the best.

The size of the studio doesn't make it good or bad.

It's the passion of the people in the studio.

By that means, Sandfall Interactive is already one of the best studios in the world.
