What is the last video game you finished? I use the term finished quite loosely, as the parameters as to what a game being finished can be different based on player, or even game. Some examples:

  • Reached the credits.
  • Completed the game 100%
  • Got all achievements/ trophies.
  • Did everything there is to do in games that don't end. (Animal Crossing, Gacha Games, etc)
  • Of course if you choose to drop a game, that game is not finished, but I guess you can put that here too.

I'll go first.

Unpacking. It was very relaxing and a cute story being told.

EDIT: If there is already a thread like this, I would delete this one. I just didn't see one.

This of course happened years ago - Lego Star Wars the Complete Saga was one I finished 100% and it was worth it.
Dead Cells is one that would not be easy to complete properly. If you see the achievements, you'll see why

Recently completed Detroit: Become Human, got as many different endings as I could even though some don't feel organic to the characters at all.

Last game I finished to the end was Space Marine 2! I wish the campaign was a bit longer but what was there was a lot of fun.

I want to get around to that one when I finally finish the first one.
Both are quality games but 2 is definitely the more presentable looking and polished of them. I hope you enjoy both!

Last game that I finished with discovering all secrets and achievements was Dark Souls 1, several years ago. Until today one of my favorite games that I still often return to.

Crab champions! Very addictive but very fun. Get you a squad and you'll either reach round 500 or your pc will die. Either way a great game!

Another one I've gotten into was Wizordum - much like Catacombs 3D and Heretic combined, with a similar Doom like feel (secrets in the walls, diverse weapons, upgrades, good replay value and level editor)

Finished Veilguard on 11/1,(the release was 10/31) though I did not zero the game out until about 600 hours after that... (still irked that all that was keeping me from the platinum was a dang belt 😒)

Replaying ME, (again), more of an inward hope that the new one will not be ruined when they get around to finishing that release...

The last game I actually played and finished was a replay of The Witcher 3! Still one of my favourite games ever. But the last game I got 100% on was Baldur's Gate 3, though.

Impressive for those who can complete the games that would take a good couple of months to 100% - I tip my hat to you all

This weekend I finished

Red Dead Redemption 2 - Masterpiece. Just sucks RDR has literally no mention of Arthur 10/10

Life is Strange: True Colors - Another life is strange game with one of my favorite girls ever. Story was okay, but it gets an extra point for Alex Chen 7/10

That must've been quite the feat to complete RDR2 Seranda. I read online with AC Odyssey it takes on average 90-100hrs to get 100% completion. Though it is possible and I aim to get through, if I don't get sidetracked in-game....

Thanks, but I didn’t get 100% completion. The game as far as I am concerned, is complete for me. Might come back later to do fossils, cigarette cards, all hunts, and all crafting.

I rather spend those 20 plus hours playing something else.

Well, good on you for getting through and there isn't any rush to get the remaining collectables. It was like that with Mad Max I played before - the best way is to try and unlock everything before finishing (to not spoil anything, but it makes more sense due to the ending)

Though the longest game I've played was Dead Cells and it's one that takes well over 90hrs, including 46130 Cells to unlock everything. But that can be higher, due to updates...

Power to you. I would need some variation. Thinking I’m going to complete a Pokemon or maybe Xenoblade.

Ahh. Pokemon - wandering the tall grass and going in circles. Which version do you play? I used to play on the Gameboy Colour years ago Pokemon Red

I still have Let’s Go Eevee, Sword or Shield, Arceus, Violet or Scarlet, Ultra Sun and Moon, Shining Pearl and if I can find it somewhere, Black/ White 2.

I’ve enjoyed Violet a lot.

Very nice. Quite the collection there and they did them well. The closest I've tried was Monster Sanctuary - 2D metroidvania with collecting/turn based combat/exploring and more.
Though it was tough at times

Can’t say I played that.

Team17 (who did the Worms Turnbased Strategy games) was involved with this one. If you have the time to watch a bit of gameplay on YouTube, I recommend doing so. Do note, there are moments when making a wrong move - be it choosing an ability or specific monsters to fight, can cost one dearly
