i'm looking to customise my latest request thread and make the width of the text smaller than the default box ( kinda how width: 350px; would work on html. does anyone know how to do that, without making the post overly fancy ? i wish to use it for both threads and messages, but i can't figure out how to do it myself. google isn't helping either, so if anyone's adept at BB code and knows what i'm talking about, please give me a holler ! it doesn't have to have a scrollbar or anything complex, i'm only interested in changing the width of the text.

not a literal box. just the width to be smaller and the text to only exist within this width. kinda like how character profiles have blocks of text that align with their pictures. dunno if that makes sense. and idk how to send an example i did in html, in case there's a similar code in BB.

Post the HTML but stick it inside "code" tags. Whatever you end up doing it's going to involve spacers of some sort, tables are the simplest and you can play around with style elements.

Do you basically just want the text area to fill a certain amount of the width of the post? If so, try this:

[xtable=border:0|bcenter]{tr}{td=border:0|350pxx@}CONTENT HERE{/td}{/tr}[/xtable]

Change 350 to the width you want.

Send me a message if this doesn’t work (I know a code that will, but I can’t see if it works when I am on my phone), and I’ll double check when I get home and can do code on my laptop!
